River Connections - Partnership Wild and Scenic Rivers

Partnership Wild and Scenic Rivers actively manage and protect rivers and their outstandingly remarkable values. This video highlights rivers throughout the system including the Farmington, Musconetcong, and Sudbury, Assabet, and Concord Partnership Wild and Scenic Rivers in the Northeast.

The National Park Service (NPS) works closely with many partners to protect and enhance the Wild and Scenic Rivers placed under its care. Rivers seldom follow political boundaries or property lines and stewardship is a responsibility shared by all. Partnerships include NPS, state and local governments, councils, watershed groups and non-governmental organizations. These videos were produced with these local river partners to capture their unique river stories.
