Rice Blast -- Fungal disease that causes rice yield reduction

Seeds and grain production

Rice blast disease is a serious fungal disease caused by the rice blast fungus.
It is one of the major threats to global rice production.
High humidity and warm temperatures are most conducive to the reproduction and spread of the
rice blast fungus. Rice blast can affect all growth stages of rice, leading to significant
yield reductions or even total crop failure. The symptoms of rice blast can vary depending
on the infected part and can be classified into seedling blast, leaf blast, node blast,
and panicle blast. Seedling blast.
Seedlings turn brown and wither. Leaf blast.
Gray-green to dark brown spindle-shaped lesions appear on the leaves, with a grayish-white center
and brown or reddish-brown edges. Severe infections cause the leaves to wither.
Node blast.
Lesions appear at the nodes, causing the nodes to turn black and rot.
Panicle blast.
Brown spots appear on the rachis, which expand and cause the rachis to break or the grains to
shrivel. To better control rice blast disease, we should first select disease-resistant varieties
for planting. Additionally, appropriate chemical agents such as AXTR Top 333SC can be used for
control. If you want to talk no more, leave a message in the comments section or go to our
