Previously, when studying at school, we were categorized according to points, according to good grades, average, or successful, not yet successful.
However, when we learn a professional skill or a skill to apply to life,
the classification above does not clearly show that we have understood a problem.
Instead, I will provide you with a scale so that you can self-evaluate your ability, it is at what level.
From there, we can develop to the next level.
If you only know, remember, and speak, then you are only at level 1,
and there are 6 levels to show your ability in a field.
The scale includes 6 levels as follows.
Level 1 is know or remember, level 2 is understand, level 3 is use,
level 4 is analyze, level 5 is evaluate, and level 6 is create.
And this scale can be applied to all fields.
When you can clearly understand these 6 levels, your learning will be much easier,
because learning should go step by step.
We just need to follow this order, then learning will be less hindered, less time-consuming.
Suppose I just understand a little bit, but I have started to take steps such as creative assessment,
then I easily encounter difficulties, obstacles, or I make a product that is not required,
it goes in the wrong direction and wastes my time.
In addition, self-evaluation is extremely important.
Suppose when you apply for a job, you don't just simply say that you have a pretty good university degree,
but you also have to say more clearly what you can do.
For example, I am very good at using ABC skills,
I can analyze and evaluate the products of the opponent company,
or I can create things that few people in the market can do.
If you want others to know your value, then first you have to know your value,
and hopefully this scale can help you do that.
First, understand each level in advance.
Level 1 is know or remember.
Remember is to remember and say exactly the information you have learned.
When we go to school, we often use the words learn by heart and reply to teach this job.
And when I go to school, I have to learn very long lessons to 1-2 pages to reply.
And when I just need to forget a sentence, I will forget that paragraph.
Because I'm just trying to remember by heart, but I don't really understand.
This also explains why many people are criticized for not knowing Vietnamese history.
While everyone has to work day and night to be able to go to class and graduate.
Therefore, the second level is to understand.
When you understand a skill or a problem, you will find it more difficult to forget than just learning by heart.
Until now, I still remember some skills from middle school,
if I really understand it, although it has been more than 10 years since I learned those skills.
How to be considered to understand?
When you really understand a skill, you can say it in your own way.
Use your own language system.
I can summarize the content, I can also explain it in more detail.
I can take practical examples to clarify for others to understand.
Those are the clear differences compared to level 1.
When you believe that you understand, you can pass it on to others.
And they are likely to ask you questions.
If you can answer easily, it shows that you understand.
If you still feel confused, then maybe you still don't fully understand.
When you understand, I will see step 3 as an application to create income values or to solve your own problems.
For example, if you learn about self-discipline, you can apply it to life to solve the problems you are facing.
You often hear the sentence,
That's right, because the theory is very concise, but the practical problem is complicated.
Therefore, you can see that users are very interested in whether the respondent has a lot of experience or not.
When you understand the theory well, you will need a process to train that skill.
The first is to train to make your operation and reflexes faster.
The second is that in reality, there will be many situations, many cases, many births.
You also have to accumulate a lot of experience to solve the problem faster and better.
Therefore, when applying for a job, people will prioritize those who have a lot of experience, but sometimes just the theory is not enough.
When you start step 3, you will be seen as a new entrepreneur, a beginner.
And when you have succeeded, you will be seen as a professional, a skilled person, a skilled person.
The next step is step 4, analysis.
The difference of this step compared to the previous steps is that before I went from theory to product development.
In this step, I will go from a product, a result, a situation to analyze the opposite.
More specifically, what is analysis?
Analyzing is a model that will subdivide a large problem into many smaller problems and see what they have in common with the whole.
For example, you make a video, you upload it to YouTube, but it doesn't get many views, it doesn't get watched.
So that's a situation or a result.
I will analyze, I will subdivide this problem.
A video will include the following factors.
The first is the title and title.
The second is the image of the video.
The third is the content.
And finally, how to display the content.
Continue to look at the image, for example, it also includes smaller factors.
The first is whether the camera device can show the image clearly or not.
The second is whether the way of dressing and the location of the camera can be taken care of or not.
Whether the decor is beautiful or not.
Another important part is how to set up the light.
When I analyze, I will see a big problem.
It will include a lot of small factors inside.
And I have to have a lot of knowledge, a lot of experience.
Then I can easily give accurate analysis.
Otherwise, I will be lacking.
My analysis is not complete.
The purpose of analyzing can be to find the cause of creating bad results.
Or analyze to see the good things of others and learn.
Or to arrange.
For example, I analyze a book or a picture.
To make it easier for others to find, exchange and sell.
The next step, step 5, is to evaluate.
Evaluate is to give a statement.
For example, good, bad, good, not good.
Should not, ugly, etc.
So how do you evaluate this video?
To evaluate, we must first go through the analysis step.
In the field of work, the people in charge of the evaluation task are usually the judges, the judges.
Or the high-ranking officials can evaluate the product or the ability of the staff.
Usually, when you eat, drink, watch movies, listen to music, use a phone, a laptop.
You still often give your own evaluations.
However, it is only considered as subjective, personal opinions.
At the level I am talking about, I ask you to have a lot of knowledge, a lot of experience.
The ability to analyze and sell to be able to give valuable evaluations.
For example, in the show, when they give a good evaluation to a business, the audience also feels that the business has more prospects.
Normally, when watching the show, I can also give my own evaluations.
But most of it is based on emotions and analysis, there are still many shortcomings.
In short, to do well in this step, the previous steps must be very hard.
You must have a lot of knowledge, experience, and give accurate analysis to finally give accurate evaluations.
The last step is also the highest step when you step into a field, which is creativity.
People often misunderstand that creativity is only for fields such as design, music.
In general, those things are a bit artistic.
But in fact, creativity is for all fields.
Creativity is simply creating something new, something different, something with your own mark.
It is considered creative.
For example, you can read this book.
This book is about innovation, creativity in managing employees, organizing the working environment.
To make employees love their work environment more, work more effectively, and contribute to the success of the company.
For example, they pay salaries to employees higher than the market level.
Or let the lower class have the right to decide without the consent of the upper class.
Create a free working environment, less control over employees.
Those are quite contrary to the general situation in Vietnam.
If you want to know why, you can read this book.
It is very interesting and can open up a new perspective for yourself.
However, you must be very careful when creating something.
Because it is very easy to become a disaster.
All the processes, knowledge, and current accumulation that we have,
have to go through a long time to experience and still not be eliminated.
That's why we have to follow the old rules.
Suppose you want to cook a dish according to a completely new recipe,
because you think it doesn't follow any previous recipes,
then it is very likely to become a disaster.
Unless you are extremely good at cooking,
still follow a lot of recipes,
then there is a chance to create a new dish that still ensures deliciousness and beauty.
In short, to create something new but still valuable,
then you have to stick to the previous 5 steps.
You have to spend a lot of time researching and practicing to be really good at it.
You can analyze and determine how good or bad it is.
It's not just about creativity.
So now we have a clear understanding of these 6 levels.
Next is how to apply these 6 levels in your learning.
The first level is to know and remember.
When learning a new thing in level 1, we can learn about vocabulary or signs.
For example, in marketing, people have some vocabularies such as
Sales, Digital Marketing, Content Marketing.
For example, in music, there are musical notes.
So we need to find out what those notes represent.
In the field of foreign language learning,
what we need to learn in this step is the alphabet.
No one calls it a vocabulary or a sign,
but it's roughly the same.
The second step is to understand.
In this step, we will learn about
Proportions, Logics, Principles, Rules, Grunds,
formulas, Steel, Structures, Etc.
In this step, we must try to understand exactly,
not just learn by heart.
To the next step, we will learn such as sophisticated numbers.
For example, when you draw,
how do you grip a pen hold tree?
Suppose when you learn to draw,
many people will skip step 1 and step 2 and move on to drawing.
I may hold the pen for a while, but I don't know what to draw,
I will look for some theories, some guides to read,
but when I read, I find some vocabulary that I don't understand,
then I have to go back and find out what those vocabularies mean.
So you can see that if I go from step 1, it will be more reasonable and easier for me.
Those of you who are learning new skills, especially those of you who are self-taught,
if you stick to these steps, it will be much easier for you.
The last 3 steps are analysis, evaluation and creativity.
When you have a lot of experience, you will gradually have those abilities.
When you can't do step 6, you will go back to step 5,
if you can't do step 5, go back to step 4,
and if you can't do step 4, you will go back to step 3 to practice more.
That's how we learn, evaluate and develop ourselves.
Because it's not like we always have good teachers ready to guide us.
You can see that the cost of learning is very high in recent times.
But besides that, in today's society, we have free knowledge sources on the internet,
we have online science with low costs,
and we have very high quality books that can only be placed and shipped to the house.
But it asks us to be able to study, find and learn on our own.
To learn better, you can watch some other videos on my channel,
such as videos about mistakes in learning,
or videos about self-learning,
and continue to wait for new videos that I will release in the near future.
