Ooh, I look so cute!
Hi guys!
So Coachella's coming up, and we need to eat.
Okay? The girlies need to eat.
Our tits need to eat and our hair needs to slay.
So today I'm going to be showing y'all a few different hairstyles that y'all can rock at Coachella.
Okay, so this is the first hairstyle that we're doing.
It's going to be two little mini buns with the braids hanging down.
And it's pretty simple.
So the first step is to section your hair.
So you're going to want to section your hair into two half-up, half-down sections.
You're going to take a little piece out, though, in the very middle and leave it down for your braid.
And you're going to want to get a little elastic.
Tie off your first section.
Keep the section relatively small because you don't want your bun to be, like, too big.
Unless you like your buns big, which, I mean, a lot of people do.
So, do you.
I like to dip my elastic in gel just because it makes it a lot easier to take out and it doesn't, like, rip out your hair.
And now repeat on the other side.
Now that we have our two pigtails, we're going to want to do the little buns.
To do the buns, there's two ways you can do it.
You can twist it and just wrap it around and keep wrapping it around until there's a bun.
Or you can braid it and do a braided bun.
So that's what I'm going to do today.
I'm actually just going to do one wraparound.
Secure the braid at the end with an elastic.
And I'm going to secure the bun with a bobby pin.
We're just going to stick it from top and go down.
Repeat on the other side.
In the meantime, heat up your waver because we're going to wave the rest of our hair.
You can also curl it if you want.
Now just braid the two front pieces.
And you can either tie the braid with an elastic or just get a little bit of gel on your fingers.
And just kind of, like, glue the ends together.
It should just stick.
Now if you're doing this for a festival and you want to make sure the hair stays,
I would recommend tying it with elastic just so it stays throughout the day.
Now I'm going to address these baby hairs with a little brush and a little bit of gel.
I'm going to lift up the braid and just brush any baby hairs back.
And then I'm going to do two little swoops for funsies.
Now I'm going to wave the rest of my hair.
I'm going to use some heat protectant.
Don't forget your heat protectant, guys.
It is important.
I honestly don't know if it actually does anything, but I want to believe that it does, okay?
And I kind of like a natural wave, so I don't like to keep it on for too long.
I'm literally never, ever, ever, ever touching bleach to my hair ever again.
Like, it's never going to happen again.
So yeah, this is the finished hair.
I'm obsessed.
This is what the back looks like.
Ah, I love it.
I'm obsessed.
I think it's so cute.
I honestly might wear this hairstyle to Coachella.
Okay, guys.
For the next style, we're going to be doing this.
So the first step is to get your two hanging pieces for the front.
And then you're going to part your hair into two pigtails.
Okay, to make the back a little bit more interesting,
we're going to do this cool, like, crisscross thing.
So section off the front half piece, like this part.
Just leave that.
And then we're going to take the rest of the hair back here and tie it in a ponytail.
Okay, now we're going to take this piece,
and we're going to bring it over to the other side's ponytail and tie it to that one.
Little pigtails.
First, we're going to leave a little bit of hair out.
Take the bigger section and make a bun.
I'm just going to do a twist bun.
We got our buns.
Now we're going to do the little braid.
I think the braids just really make the look, you know?
Ah, it's so cute.
I think I'm going to pull a little bit of hair out so I can have a little bit of spiky.
Okay, they're not the most even, but they're cute.
I love the spiky look, like the Y2K hairstyles.
And of course, we have to do our edges.
And this is the finished look.
I'm obsessed with this.
Okay, I'm going to show you all the back, but if she's not cute, mind your business, okay?
So this is the next hairstyle.
It's a good wash day hairstyle.
So if it's wash day for you, maybe this one's the way to go.
This one's really simple.
I'm going to take a brush like this to put my hair back.
You can use any brush.
I think one of these days I'll film a hair wash day routine because I have a whole routine, girl.
Guys, please don't cloth me for my armpit hair, okay?
I know I need to wax.
If it is wash day for you, maybe put on a little hair mask.
Actually, I'm going to do that.
I put a hair mask in every wash day.
It'll also make the braiding easier because your hair is kind of wet and everything's kind of slicked down.
So depending on how thick your hair is, you're going to decide how many little braids that you want.
So I think I'm going to do three, and then we're just going to braid them.
So they don't have to be too even.
If you want, you can even do some thick braids and some really small, tiny braids.
I think that would be really cute.
Yeah, this one's really simple if you know how to braid, obviously.
If you don't know how to braid, this is how you braid.
You just put one in the middle, and then the other in the middle, and just keep going.
I hope that was a good tutorial.
Okay, there's one.
I'm going to do the next one.
Okay, and this is what it's looking like.
It adds so much more character than just doing one big braid, you know?
Now y'all know I got to do my edges.
I don't know why.
I just feel complete when my edges are done.
Whenever my hair is slicked back, I feel like I have to do my edges.
If I just leave it like this, I feel like my head looks so big.
I don't know. I just have a wide forehead, and I just think it looks more put together.
Don't forget your baby hairs on the side, too.
And at the bottom.
I might try three today.
Three little swoops.
I like the three.
I feel like it's even because of three braids, you know?
What you can also do is if you have little hair accessories,
like little bows or ribbons or little charms or something,
you can add it in.
This is the only thing I have right now.
It doesn't match the outfit, but it's okay.
And that is the finished look, guys.
I love this hairstyle.
I don't know.
Something about it just makes me feel like a little diva,
especially with the bow.
Love it!
Okay, guys.
This is the next hairstyle.
All you're going to do is take a little piece of hair
and then twist it on your head.
And then you're just going to take another elastic
and tie that.
And then we're going to do another one right underneath it.
Now we're just going to do the same thing on this side.
Try to make them as even as possible.
Okay, so this is what we're looking like.
I like how it looks right now,
but we're going to spice it up a little bit more
and add braids.
I'm going to leave a decent amount of hair at the bottom
because, I don't know, I just think that looks better.
See, it just blends better at the bottom
when you leave some hair out.
I wish it was more on my head,
but that's because I didn't tighten these.
So tip for y'all, after you do these,
make sure it's more on your head
or else your braids will stick out like mine.
But it's fine, I can just bobby pin it.
Guys, I low-key hate whenever my ears show.
I don't know why, I just feel like a little elf
whenever my ears show.
Okay, yeah, so to fix that,
I'm just going to take a little bobby pin
and bobby pin it to my head.
There we go.
Cute!
I'm going to spice it up a little bit more
and add some charms.
I'm going to go with a little ring.
Like that.
And then I'm going to go with one of these
and add it to the bottom of the braid.
I'm actually going to cover the elastic with it
so you can't see it.
And then I'm going to add a smaller one
to the middle.
And then I think I'm just going to leave them
on the front one and not the back
because I feel like you're not really going to see it
from the front anyway.
So cute!
And this is the finished look!
I love using these little charms
to accessorize the braids.
I think it just adds a little pizzazz, you know?
Who says pizzazz?
I love how the gold is kind of matching the beads
on my shirt right now.
I love it.
You can also add some little ribbons right here
if that's your vibe, like to the top of the braids.
Add bows, add more little charms.
Do whatever your heart desires.
So this is another version of that last look
except my hair is curled instead of crimped.
And then I only did one twist,
but it's kind of a bigger twist
so it kind of protrudes out of my head more.
And I added cute little silver accessories this time.
So I added these little stars.
They have little clips
so you can just really easily attach it to your hair.
I think it's so cute!
So yeah, any of these hairstyles
you can adjust and customize to your liking, of course.
And to your hair type as well,
because obviously I know everyone doesn't have long hair.
But I think most of these you can still do
if you have short hair.
I can't wait to see all your guys' festival hair and outfits.
Like honestly, that's like one of the best parts of festivals.
And I posted a Coachella outfits inspo video,
so if you haven't already, check that out.
And I will hopefully see y'all at Coachella!
I'll be there weekend two.
I'm camping.
I feel like I'm still not prepared though.
Like I have all those outfits,
I still don't know what I'm wearing.
So yeah, I'm gonna go figure that out.
Thank you guys so much for watching.
