Quarantine wont stop us! Easter on a SAILBOAT! - Ep.13

It's Easter time! So we try to cook the best we can with the least we have. We made again a list for the police to see what they can find and if we get anything. Hopefully they're still nice and get the groceries for us. Interestingly here in Cyprus, as they are orthodox Christians, Easter is not this week but next week. But as we are Catholics we are going to celebrate it this week and it's Friday before Easter and I don't know how it's called in English but anyhow we have still two days to prepare for Easter and then now we're currently searching out what kind of delicious dessert we want to have. This would be what we want to make. Typical. Are we going for it? We are going for it. Wow wow wow wow it really is awesome. It's Christmas at Easter time. So the police guy brought the shopping list to the grocery store, they bought everything, he brought it back and now we have everything for our Easter feast. So we will make some awesome cooking. They even got wine prosecco. Good morning everyone and happy Easter! We are trying to make the best out of these circumstances so we did a little bit of exercise, had some refreshing shower or better said a very warm shower. I tell you after having had to take a cold shower for one month I'm so cherishing every single warm shower that we get. What we're trying to do today is to spend as much time with our families even if on a virtual way and just try to enjoy this day. I can't tell you how happy I am to finally get a piece of this. It's a kind of sweet bread that you make for Easter back at home and I wait for it every every year. It's just the best there is. Yeah, does it taste how it should? And this was it for breakfast with my dad. It's super sunny here so we're very very lucky today. You already saw some traditions, the Tekken tradition which the goal is actually to crash each other's eggs. We would love to know your traditions, your Easter traditions of your place so just leave them in the comments. We're so curious to see what is happening around the world and we will take our break here in the sun and then go on cooking because we're Italian so the greatest traditions we have is cook and eat all day. I'm exhausted from eating. It's so awesome. It's just awesome. Cyprus waffles. That's good. You have to know that me and Michael have very different ways of choosing a wine. While Michael uses his immense wine knowledge I just go for the nice labels. This time neither of us could choose the wine as the police did for us and from my perspective it's a very very nice label so I think they chose well and it's going to be a nice one hopefully. What does the wine knowledge say? Fresh. Now that we settled the important part, the drinks, we can start cooking. As you see we made ourselves all nice and fancy even if we're only staying at home but it actually really boosts the morale so try it out even if you're in lockdown and we're going to start by making this so-called bozo sauce which is actually the town I'm from so we're pretty famous. Now we don't have exactly all the ingredients we need for the bozo sauce so all you people back at home don't scold me for doing it a little bit different but it's part of Easter so we're definitely going to try to do it. What's the problem? Greta always knows better. At least she thinks she does but the recipe is always right. I'm not so sure. We're having a call coming up with my mom now so we're going to prepare the starters and then sit down with her and go on cooking later. What do we have for starters? Something totally crazy. We wanted to have some shrimps or some fish and we got something yeah totally crazy. Like shrimps with cocktail sauce but already cooked. Tricky if you don't go shopping for yourself. So this was number three of... don't make such a mess. This was number three of eating and calling family. I'm already super full and we're just starting to cook the main course but hey that's how holidays work. It is, it is. Hard life. Oh I think even the camera got drunk.
