Just Chanel here. Hey guys. Just Chanel here. Welcome to my channel. I am back with a layover vlog. I am in Puerto Rico right now and we're about to hit the streets running. I got in last night and we have all day today to explore. So we're about to go grab some brunch. The view from my room is amazing. So I'm going to show that to y'all. And then we are gonna go have some lunch. Literally look at this. Opened our eyes this morning. We left the curtains open and you can just see the ocean. So freaking beautiful. So we're gonna have brunch, go explore Old San Juan and then hit the beach and pool and everything a little bit later. OOTD. I just decided to throw on this bodysuit. This is my wallet purse from BASE. I really really love this. This is great. It's a travel bag, a layover purse, whatever. It has like a pocket wallet for six cards, your ID. It has a pocket and a pocket pin which is great for traveling. And it's just a really nice like lightweight leather bag. So check that out. But yeah I just have this bodysuit on and then these like flowy pants. I put my hair in like two braids last night. Like sweep braids after I took my bun out. And I kind of like how my hair came out. Like it's just real flowy. So I decided instead of putting it in a bun, bless you, for breakfast this morning to just leave it out like this. Now I figure out what I'm going to do later with it. This is so flowy. I used Pattern, the leave-in conditioner. I really like the leave-in conditioner. All the other products not for my hair. But check that out if you need a good leave-in. I already know I have to hit up Starbucks so I can get me some hot water. I just decided to do it in a Starbucks cup instead of my infuser mug because I don't want to carry my infuser mug all over the city today. And so I'm drinking Quality Mint. This is a green tea, a mint green tea. Gunpowder green. So it's really high in caffeine. Great when you have a busy day or a day full of adventures. So check this out. If you like mint, a little mint, lemongrass. That's really really good. I'm gonna let this steep. I'm gonna let it steep for five minutes so I can get real strong today. We are at Eastro Cafe in San Juan and we have some mimosas. They're like fruit popsicle mimosas. So they put a whole popsicle in them. It's so dope and yeah it is time and their food looks so good. I can't wait to show you guys what we did. We got some avocado toast. It looks so good. And this is an omelette. I got a steak omelette y'all. It is so huge. I'm also gonna get another drink. They have a mojito mimosa so I'm gonna try that. And yeah oh my gosh the food looks amazing. And then one of our friends actually lives here and just met us. So we're gonna go have like an even better day than what we really thought we were gonna have. This is one half of the burrito. Everything is just huge. Look at this drink. A mojito mimosa. Like what? I'm gonna try to make this at home. We are back at the hotel and at the beach. I got this bathing suit back in like 2016. I really like it. It fits very well and it's great for tanning. It is from Pretty Little Thing. These are one of my favorites. I bring them on every single trip with me. We're just gonna chill out. The sun is out. Sun's out. Bun's out. It's raining. It's definitely raining. He's like no just stay. It's raining. I got an umbrella but I'm not under it. We're just here chilling and we have some nachos. I'm about to pull this little seat up to be under this umbrella. This is rain. This is whole rain. So we're at the liquor store because we're gonna start getting ready for dinner. Get ready with me coming soon and we figured you know we can grab like a very small bottle like a little pint size or whatever just while we're getting ready for dinner because our friend made us dinner reservations. Y'all that says $84.99. That's USD. American dollars. Like who's gonna pay that for this Don Julio? Everything in here is double. $62.99 for Syrah. What? What are you thinking? I'm thinking this is what we're not doing. This Apothic. Apothic Red. This is the wine I buy all the time. This bottle is $22.99 here. It's no more than $11.99 and that's expensive at the store. Like what was the other thing you saw that you said? How much is this usually? $40. It's $68. So turns out the liquor store actually makes drinks. They have a bar in here. Sis just hooked up the whole mojito. Like it's so good. Literally just watched her make it. I asked for extra mint and half the sugar. Well if you don't know you know that now that I'm really picky about my drinks and I don't like really like sweet drinks. All right let's get ready. I split my hair in two sections and I'm about to do my bun in so we're gonna jam out with my mojito while I do my bun. Oh we like this song. We like this song. All right so my outfit is in the closet. Let me turn it around and show y'all. All right so this is my outfit. I got this from I think House of Chic. Obviously it's extremely wrinkled. I'm gonna just run the iron over it real quick and get dressed and I think I can kind of wear it off the shoulder. I would probably usually wear this with like a pump or like a strappy heel but I'm on vacation so I'm just gonna wear some sandals put on a cute earring and then I'll show you guys the finished look. So the outfit didn't really work out for me and the jumpsuit that I had looked so cute on her so we just decided to switch basically. This is the top. I really really like it. Six minutes away. Oh that's perfect. Four dollar Uber. Oh wow I never had a four dollar Uber before but it's like a satin wrap top. It's super pretty. I'm gonna change my earring so I'll show you guys that. Probably like while we're on the way to dinner or whatever and then these jeans are from Nicole Linnell. I'll leave the link down below because my best friend and I ordered these jeans and they are the best jeans probably I've ever had in my life. Like they're so good and then oh this is my song. This is Janae. Say hey. She's putting deodorant on. Show them your outfit. It's so cute. She looks so cute and the hair is just it's a whole lot. Look at her. I'm gonna be honest. David explained this to me about two three times. I still don't know what it is. It's chorizo foam on the top though and there's definitely meat in here. This is fried cheese with guava sauce which my friend said is really really good. He said this is like the Puerto Rican staple so we're excited. We're gonna get momfongo for dinner and then me and Nae we got sangria passion fruit sangria. All right so we have our food. We have momfongo. It looks so good and Nae got the same thing and Hector got. What did you get? Easy white rice with avocado with dorado fish and dorado. I don't know how to say dorado in English. In English? Chicharito. It has the three beans which represent health, love, and money. Money. This is the famous sangrico. You go up, bring it up, down, bring it low. Falcentro is when you cheers. Okay. Are you taking it with the beans? No you didn't take it with the beans. It's not too bad. We got out of our uber. What up? Heyo. Bienvenidos a Puerto Rico cabrones. All right bet we're ready. All right fun fact the three ships the santa maria and whatever the other ones were called they brought cobblestone roads because they were testing out the buoyancy of the ships and then as soon as they landed here they exchanged the cobblestone roads for gold and spices. And they used the cobblestone to make roads to start the infrastructure of Puerto Rico. The streets. This street is named after our first and only saint and on the third thursday of january they always have a gigantic festival. I don't know if y'all can see that but that's the whole castle over there. The first structure of Puerto Rico right? And Puerto Rico means the port of riches. And then we have a whole timeline here. A national historic timeline. This is amazing. This is so cool to see. All right so we found a spot to go to. We got hookah. Had to finesse a little bit um but we made some shake so.
