Another beautiful day in Negros Oriental 🤍 Our morning started with a peaceful ocean view breakfast before heading out to explore more of Dumaguete and Valencia.
Even though we already ate, we couldn’t leave without trying the famous puto maya and sikwate from Painitan — a local breakfast market loved by both locals and visitors. Simple food, but definitely one of the most memorable parts of the trip.
After breakfast round two 😅 we made our way to Casaroro Falls. The hike down was no joke, but seeing the towering waterfall surrounded by lush greenery made every step worth it.
Negros Oriental continues to surprise us with its simplicity and beauty. Definitely feeling like we found a hidden gem in the Philippines 🇵🇭

Good morning and welcome to Philippines.
Good morning and welcome to another episode of
you forgot something but we survived.
So sir, let me ask you something.
What did you forget today?
My bathing suit.
And what else?
My hair products.
I usually pack my bathing suit.
So put it in.
Not every trip but we forget you know some stuff like
last time when we were in Chiang Mai,
we didn't bring any pants.
And when we went to Vietnam the very very first time,
I forgot to bring underwear.
Welcome to the Philippines.
We're here in the Maguete City in the island of Negros.
Dean, Dean's room is right here right next to us.
It's so nice to be back here in the Philippines.
Philippines is my country of origin.
I was born and raised here.
So it's a little bit nice right now.
It is cooler because we have a little bit of overcast right now.
Today rain is in the forecast but we'll see what we can do today.
Pack itinerary for sure.
The hotel that we're gonna be here,
someone will pick us up from the hotel.
Do tour around because it's gonna be like you know easier and convenient for us.
We were gonna be able to see a lot of places by hiring a van.
Thank you all the time for you know supporting our channel,
watching our videos,
supporting our like you know watching our travel videos.
It means a lot to us.
Good morning.
You know what?
Chad forgot his bathing suit.
That's why you came up.
You can hear that.
Vinegar is to put your spoon in to eat the vinegar with the meat.
I'm just pouring over.
Yeah just pour over that.
No because the vinegar is too strong.
Then you get more vinegar and put it in your mouth.
I think you're adding.
Some rock general.
Some rock general is coming into.
The first stop is Pineapple.
A local morning market that comes alive at sunrise.
Serving up some most of the traditional Filipino breakfast.
Timageta is known for its Putumayo in Ciguate.
A simple but iconic pairing.
Putumayo is a warm sticky rice cooked in coconut milk.
Slightly sweet and super comforting.
Often wrapped in banana leaves for an extra aroma and authentic touch.
And then there's Ciguate.
A rich thick Filipino hot chocolate made from pure cacao.
It's bold slightly bitter and perfect for dinner.
Here you can actually choose between two flavors.
The first is the classic.
Ciguate made from homemade cacao paired with condensed milk for a creamy slightly sweet balance.
And the second is what I'd call trifecta.
Condensed milk, Ciguate and peanut butter all combined.
It sounds a little extra but trust me it works.
How is it?
Good.
Is it?
Peanut butter's good too.
Definitely better.
Yeah?
One straight sweetness you know with this one.
Peanut butter's better.
Your dad's what?
Our peanut butter.
It's a lot better though.
You'll see a whole line of vendors all serving the same thing.
It just really comes down to who has the best recipe.
Even though we already had breakfast, we couldn't pass this up.
When in Guemaguete, you have to try.
Next stop for the day is Casarota Falls.
Tucked away in the mountains of Valencia,
Casarota Falls is one of the most iconic waterfalls in Negros, Ollantay.
No it's only uh it's okay dude I have only a shirt flipping.
339.
Casarota Falls is known for its tall narrow drop.
Escalating from about 100 feet into a cool refreshing basin
surrounded by lush greenery and towering rock walls.
Getting there is a difficult venture.
You need to go down a long set of stairs and across few rocky paths.
But once you reach the falls, it's absolutely worth it.
You forgot something baby.
I mean they passed us but they feel like they didn't.
Okay we're gonna have to cross another river.
The moment we saw the falls, wow.
Picture honestly don't do it justice.
It feels so much bigger and more powerful in person.
The sound of the water rushing down the full mist in the air
instantly makes it the whole hike worth it.
If you were tired getting down there like seeing this, yeah no complaints at all.
This place is so pretty oh my gosh my knees are shaky right now.
Probably the climb up is brutal but I'm suffering because the climb down is
a little harder for me but it's so pretty right here.
It's so green.
The breeze is so good.
I feel a little sweaty because it's humid but very nice right here.
I love it.
Let's see how's the climb up.
Anyway this is why we're here for right?
Thank you.
What do you think?
Hike back up these stairs.
I know me too.
All right so this is the stairs that we need to climb up.
Up right there.
Oh where they do the...
Just hit a different downhill from there.
From there that they found all the uh the other pages too.
And they searched my phone and saw all these memes that you put.
Oh it's not like this guy.
I'm so proud of you Dean.
Great job.
Actually Chad said it's Melody who's um taking too too yeah more rest.
