After 3 years, we’re finally back in the Philippines! ✈️ We left Seoul searching for a new adventure — this time exploring Dumaguete, Negros Oriental with our Vietnam travel crew. From our flights, first Jollibee stop, a relaxing walk at Dumaguete Boulevard, and an amazing Filipino dinner, this trip is already off to such a fun start.
There’s just something so comforting about being back home — the food, the atmosphere, and the simple moments already feel extra special. 🤍

Another country, another vlog. This time, we're heading to my home country, the Philippines.
We are traveling with our Vietnam crew again and for this trip,
we're exploring the southern islands, the Negros, Oriental, and Siquijor Islands.
Look, it's BTS.
It's been three years since we last visited the Philippines, so this trip feels extra special.
We only have five days, but I'm already excited for the food, the views, and everything in between.
Our journey starts with a four-hour flight from Incheon to Manila,
followed by a quick one-hour flight to Dumaguete.
We flew with Philippine Airlines, a bit on a pricier side, but honestly, it's totally worth it.
It has free Wi-Fi, good food, and overall, a comfortable flight.
I'm not gonna lie, I was surprised Philippine Airlines served food.
A lot of the flights we've taken in the past didn't include meals,
even on a longer route, so this was a really nice touch.
When we arrived in Manila, I met up with Melody at the airport,
and just like that, the crew is finally complete again.
First Jollibee for these guys.
We made a quick stop at Jollibee for lunch.
Not exactly our first choice, but since it's Creighton and Dean's first time,
we had to let them experience it.
So here in the Philippines, you get the Jollibee, you get the fried chicken, and brown gravy.
So what did you say? What is your goal?
There's no like animals here, right? Like natural people.
There's two dogs and a bird over there.
I'm saying like Thailand has like elephants, Australia has kangaroos.
Yeah, but they're not here though.
They're a different part of the Philippines.
It's a water buffalo.
I'll find a sea turtle instead.
After lunch, we headed to our terminal and caught our flight to Negros Island.
We got something.
What do you think it is? Pizza?
What did you get? Oh, ensemada.
Maybe mango?
Actually, the motorcycle here is not that bad.
Hey guys, welcome to Dumaguete in the island of Negros.
We're gonna be here over the weekend.
Today's Thursday.
Our flight's delayed, but it was good.
We are right here on time.
And it's already about 5 o'clock or 5.30 in the afternoon or in the evening.
The weather here is perfect.
It has overcast, so it's breezy.
It's nice.
It's not too hot.
It's the reason why we also chose to do this trip around this time of the year
because this is the coolest weather of the year here in the Philippines.
We are all with our regular crew.
This is our first time here.
I have never been here as well in the past.
So this is my first time also here in Negros.
Tomorrow, we're gonna be still here in Dumaguete.
After that, the following day, we are going to Siquijor.
So Siquijor is actually known for voodoo dolls, enchanted, shaman, rituals, etc.
How much is it?
35 pesos.
It's 3,100 pesos for 8 pieces.
3,100 pesos.
Souvenirs are being sold.
Souvenirs are being sold here in Dumaguete.
Yeah, I shopped too much.
No, but these are all for my friends and my co-workers in Korea.
You know, every time they go on a trip, they bring something back for me.
So it's time to give them something that is left from my trip.
You know, this massage right here in the Philippines, they are so cheap.
And actually, the oil that they use here are so fragrant.
So take note, this place is very province.
It's so far from even the city.
And while you eat, someone is serenading you as well.
I still remember that sound.
By the time we landed, it was already past 5 PM.
So with limited time, we decided to take a stroll along the Dumaguete Boulevard.
It's a lively seaside spot full of restaurants, food vendors, souvenir stalls, even street massages.
After a walk, we headed to Lantau Restaurant for dinner.
And we definitely overordered.
But no regrets.
Everything looked too good.
Welcome to the Philippines!
We had to fuel up anyway because we still had one hour drive ahead of us to our hotel.
It's a boo-hoo!
Chad, is it your birthday again?
You're not scared of lizards?
Are you scared of lizards, Chad?
