Hey you guys, I am at the Habitat for Restore here in Charlotte, North Carolina.
This is one of the smallest stores that I'm at.
So I want to show you guys around. A lot of good things are here at this store
and I want to show you. Turn the camera around.
So here is the, excuse me, the office area where they have office
furniture here. A lot of this stuff could be made over
you guys and some don't need even making over. This is
really nice, very modern that they have here.
Very modern desk they have. A lot of chests that they have here.
This is a nice piece of furniture here that's actually sold and
I kind of like it.
But I am for a chandelier for my foyer
and they got some really nice stuff going on here you guys.
This chandelier here is only $45. Very nice, my style for sure.
On this one, I don't know. This I've seen in a magazine.
Let's see how much it is.
I can't see a, I don't see a price but I know you could probably get
them for about a hundred bucks or so. Some really nice stuff up here.
Really, really nice.
This one's really nice.
That one's nice.
Nice things here.
That one's massive for like a foyer. Very nice.
Yeah, everything for what I'm told is like
$100, between $40, $50, up to about $150.
The most that they will sell stuff for.
Kitchen cabinets. Really nice if you want to do
over a bathroom and it's for $360. You get all of this
which is a very, very nice deal. Look at this.
Storage. Something like this will cost a lot of money.
So, fireplace surrounds here. Oh, look at this. You guys know I'm
trying to look for a, to redo my bathroom and I kind of like
this. I don't know if it's the perfect size
but I'm looking to do my half bathroom over.
This is only $200. I really like that, you guys.
Everything. $200. I like that. I like that. I like that a lot.
If you guys have been following me for a while, you know how I always love to look
in glass cases when I walk into a store like this.
All of the delicate vintage items are here at reasonable prices
and on the other end, I spotted this Vintage Chromics Lazy Susan serving bowl
set I got for $30 brand new. I'm thinking of
Christmas already, you guys. Serving appetizers in this. The condiment
dishes are removable for easy washing and pre-making goodies ahead of time.
So, this is what I've shared with you guys on Instagram.
This is amazing. This sofa that they have here is just
absolutely gorgeous. You can use it for so many things with the holidays coming up.
You can really, really have a beautiful tablescape
using all of this. I like that. That shaker looks cute for the
holidays. Silver shaker. Very nice to put on the
bar cart. I don't even know where to start, you
guys. This is so beautiful. I'm loving these candlesticks, though. I'm
going to get these, though. They're beautiful.
I'm looking at that. I don't know what...
Oh, it's a candle holder. I wish there was two.
But this is all polished already. Looks like they cleaned it already.
I like it. This, I'm not sure what it is. I think you may put like a wine glass or
something in there. Wine bottle. Some platters here. These are
really heavy. That one's nine bucks. I think it's worth a good penny.
So my apologies in advance. I had to voice over this clip because the store
was noisy. But I came across these balloon porcelain
napkin rings. They were from Pier 1 and they were a dollar each.
From what I've seen, they were a whole lot more than a dollar each.
And next to the napkin rings, I grabbed this pair of salt and pepper shakers
that are also from Pier 1. And they were two dollars each. So this
was definitely an awesome find. Ninja jars. I couldn't believe seeing
them here. But the best thing, they were five dollars each. I only purchased the
white with the vibrant blue because it's my favorite print. But for
five dollars, it's an amazing steal. So here,
I don't know what these are. They're interesting looking.
They're three dollars a piece. I don't know what they're for. Could be
where you could put like little syrups or something
on a breakfast bar. You're doing a brunch or something. That
would be interesting. But there's so much to see in this place.
It's just so much to see. So much to see. You guys, these dishes
are gold and they're 50 cents. 50 cents.
50 cents. And they are by Nordatake.
If I'm saying that right. Oh yeah, baby. These are coming home with me.
Then we have little rooms over here. This is really nice.
For fine china. Let's go in here. Lots of china. I don't need any more dishes.
But they have plenty, plenty, plenty of dishes here.
It must be the good stuff. $195. And over here,
those are pretty. They're like yellow. Three dollars a glass. Very nice.
That's something for. Oh, they have some blue stuff here. You guys know how much I
love my blue stuff. There's a two dollars each.
The dishes are, there's a bunch of them here. Let's see.
They're two dollars a piece. I think I may have to get those from my mother or
she'll, she'll kill me if I don't. Got some
western themes here. And some more china over here. Very nice.
All right, for restore. This is the biggest one here. North or south of the
Mississippi. So I've never seen a restore this, this
huge. They got a lot of furniture that you
could kind of redo over like this.
Those are pretty. Love that. A lot of furniture that you could get
reupholstered. Let's go over here. I am looking to
possibly find a chandelier. Well, my foyer had to travel six hours
just to find one. But it's worth it though. All righty.
So they got a lot of furniture here. And you know, this is good for
if you are young and you're just starting out
to get your, your own place or a new home.
This is where you want to start you guys. This is where you want to start to save
money. This set right here is $200. It's a
wardrobe. It's kind of nice.
It's a tv unit. You put your tv in. So nice in the bedroom if you have this
space. And they have the matching dresser here.
That's three, three hundred dollars for the dresser.
So here are all the file cabinets. You can make them over you guys and make
them look like the one that I did over, that I made over. And I'll have that
link down below in case you want to know how
to paint it. But this piece right here, I'm looking at.
I love this piece. This is, I'm not, I know what it is but I'm not quite sure.
I have to look it up. But they only want $45 for it.
And it's quite massive. So here are, here's a huge map that they
have here in Charlotte of all of the restores which I think is
so awesome because you can just kind of
look to see what states they're in. So they're in every state.
Wait a minute. Yeah in every state. So I think that's pretty cool.
Okay so we got some brass pieces here and you got a vault of mirrors. There's
me. Hey y'all. Wall of mirrors.
Oh look at this scale. Scale of justice.
These scale of justices are so hard to find.
Almost impossible to find. And it's only nine dollars.
So I'm for sure gonna get that. I remember seeing this at Ikea.
It's 15 bucks but I think it's more in Ikea.
It's something that you put plants in. I like that a lot.
Over here they have more furniture. Older pieces.
It's the real wood. That's the good stuff. So here they have
air conditioning units and they have appliances.
Washer and dryers. You know this is good for
the younger people or older or whoever needs it.
If you're getting started and you just bought a new house you may want to start
here especially if you're trying to save money.
They have appliances here if you live in the Charlotte area. I don't know if all
restores are like this but if you're short on money you need a
refrigerator this is the place to go. These refrigerators are brand new.
Nothing's wrong with them from what I'm told.
And like for instance this refrigerator is going for twelve hundred dollars
regular price. $2,500. And they even got brand new stoves
here. They even have the kind glass top.
And this one's going for $3.53. Look at that you guys. That's a good buy.
That's a real good buy. This is a real pretty one.
That one's sold. So they got a lot of goodies.
Lots and lots of goodies.
This is a cute cute dresser. You guys know I'm looking for a dresser for my
upstairs
bedroom. I'm liking that. Liking it. Liking it. Liking it. What I like
about the furniture they have here is that
it's that real wood. It's not that compressed wood that they have. And look
more refrigerators. Not bad. And more kitchen
more kitchen cabinets. So yeah they even got flooring.
Look at that. Rugs. Everything over here is brand new.
Brand new. Okay here we go. They have so many to choose from and the
prices are just so good.
I know it may not be everybody's taste but
it goes with the style of my house. This fella's putting
some up. I'm gonna try to find my husband because I had no idea who he is.
So we could try to choose one together. You guys know the dilemma that
we had trying to trying to find one. I'm more glammy. He's not.
He's not so glammy but I'm liking this one.
For the foyer I might take it off. Take off the shades.
I may get this one. Sir how much is this chandelier?
100. Okay I'm gonna find my husband and see what he thinks. I may get this one.
I'll come and find you. Thank you. I'm liking that one too. I'm thinking my
husband might like that one. Oh got the lights on. Even better.
Thank you. This is probably the place you want to
come to first because you could get things for like
little or nothing. Cabinetry and granite. You cannot beat
that. Or you can even do like an office just
to give you guys some ideas what you can do
if you're wanting to do like a makeover.
You don't have the money. This is the place where you you want to start first.
I get great satisfaction out of doing things myself. I love doing things but
for you know over buying them. But there's a
whole kitchen area over here. Okay let me find my husband. So here are
some items I picked up over time. Starting with this beautiful leather
and gold tray. It's by Tahari and it's from Home Goods.
It's super large and soft. It makes a great accent on
any surface. And then I got a pair of these gold vases. I love the texture.
They are also super large. You can add seasonal flowers in them or not.
Either way they are beautiful. This long gold bowl I got from at home stores for
only $7.99. They had a table filled with home
accents at 75% off. And I also got a pair of these gold
candlesticks. They are tall and the finish is the perfect gold.
I cannot wait to use them. A while back I picked up these wooden charges from
Pure One. I love the scalloped detail on them.
Then last year I purchased these gold charges from Goodwill.
A set of six for $9. Shopping thrift really pays off.
Mixing Goodwill finds with new and more thrifty finds equals smart shopping
in an elegant table setting. Scales of Justice
is a home accent to express your creativity. I have fresh apples currently
on mine and have had it for a few years. And I move it all around the house. At the
I did get this one for $9. It's a little rough around the edges but
I will be giving it a bath and my barkeeper's friend.
So be sure to follow me on Instagram so you can see the after.
These acrylic office organizers is my fave fave.
It's from HomeGoods. I love anything that's clear, decorative, and functional.
And this has really done it for me. It has drawers and a place to label what
you want to go wear. And both were $25 each. So I hope you
all have enjoyed my little shopping spree.
Leave me a comment down below and tell me what state you're in.
And if you ever shop at a ReStore and if it was anything like I showed you
I would love to know. And I want to thank you all for watching.
