My Updated Go to Natural Makeup Routine at 36 | Easy Soft Glam

Hey y'all so we're back with a new video. I know you're probably surprised to see me here again but I'm back. I'm back. I'm proud of myself and I'm really excited because doing this video feels very nostalgic because I'm gonna be doing my everyday makeup routine. Obviously not something I wear every day but this is like my go-to anytime I know I'm about to go out, go to an event. Just like a safe makeup look that I know just never fails me and the way I do my makeup now compared to years ago especially before I was a mother especially when I was younger is completely different. So this is very updated. A lot of things have changed from the way I prep to the way I set to the products that I use for the most part but I'm gonna just yeah show you what I do and as a mom of an almost eight-year-old and I'm 36 years old now. Oh my gosh I'm 36 now. I don't think I look 36 but anyway. So the way that I do my base now is I use concealers. These are the Fenty Beauty concealers. These are the hydrating long wear concealers and I use three shades. I don't use a base anymore. I don't I mean I never really did. If you're a long subscriber of me and my channel you know that when I did my makeup I rarely wore like a primer or if I prepped my base it was usually with skincare but now I just wash my face and maybe here and there I'll put like um a serum or preferably a serum that like has like a tacky finish. Usually I don't do anything. It's about how I set it. I use shade 330 for the majority of my face and then I use shade 315 for the center and then 370 for the perimeter because obviously you know foreheads darker and all that stuff. So I'll start with the forehead and I like to let this concealer sit so it can thicken up and right now I'm only going to really use 370 on the forehead. I'm going to go in with 315 under my eyes. I could do that right here and it's crazy how fast I usually do my makeup. I can do this so quick. I'm gonna be slow obviously because I'm filming for y'all but I probably would already almost be done with the base. For 330 that's what I'm gonna use on the majority of my face and when I do this I really treat it as like spot treatment except for the center but I don't want to use a lot and a little goes a long way with this. I love this concealer. You really don't need to use loads of it. I'll start with a small amount and then eventually I'll build up and I'll focus on like my problem areas where I have some acne scars. I really like this concealer because you can really fake like you have good skin with it. If you get your exact shade and you blend it out the right way with like an eyeshadow brush I'll show y'all how to do that next time. There's moments where I've won this concealer, did it very natural, very very natural and people thought it was my skin and it was not. So now I'm gonna go in with this brush. This is the Lunar Beauty brush. This is the dimension brush and I'll start with blending out the 330. I kind of just want the lighter color the 315 that I use to blend in with the darker color. I don't know if that makes sense. I'd rather blend out the 330 first so that I'm never like going too bright with the highlight color. That's basically why I do that. It just blends out so pretty. This is one of my favorite concealers. This concealer in the Too Faced, top tier. Top tier product. Top tier material. Now I'm gonna work my way to blending out the 315. I'm gonna take it down my neck. I love this brush. Also it blends out really good like the way that it's angled. It's like double-sided. This is for you. I'm gonna put the hand that way. There it is. The double-sided brush. Okay then I'm just gonna blend in only the center because this is the color 315 and 330. I don't want to use this brush to blend out the darker color which is the 370. I'm gonna take my 330 and cover this one here. She gotta go. I really hope that she put this mascara on me. Any areas that I feel like I need to cover some more, I'll just go back with the concealer. Time to shave the stache. Now I'm gonna take this brush where I honestly do not know where I got it from but I like it because it just blends everything out so good. It's very thick. The bristles are very compact so it's angled as well so it really gets into the corner of the eye. Look how beautiful that concealer blends out. They better not ever mess with this formula. Discontinue this concealer. Nothing. Like look how pretty that is but it looks very natural. I don't go crazy super bright under the eye or anything like that. I just want it to look like you know my natural under eye. It looks good and I like to cover my lids too because you see I have like a little bit of discoloration. It's not too bad but I'm really not one of those people that enjoys how the discoloration on my lids look. Not yet. I like to drag it to the inner corner. Definitely want to get that in the corner. Highlight it and erase that pigment. Okay then for my nose I'm gonna try and keep it in the middle. I like to use eyeshadow brushes, preferably like really small brushes, to blend out most of my makeup especially when it comes to like my forehead like this. So this is just like a brush that I use to apply my contour colors usually. I have a routine like a method where I'll just use only eyeshadow brushes like for the under eye, for contouring because it's just so much more precise. Your makeup, to me at least, my makeup ends up coming out way better than using large brushes. I'm gonna stick with the same brush and now I'm gonna pull out one of my favorite palettes of all time. If you do not have one of these Makeup Forever Harmony palettes, I really don't know what you're doing. I really don't know. Like even if you don't know how to do makeup and you're a beginner and of course if you're an expert you know that these are go-to. Go-to. But first of all look at my face. I honestly could just walk out the house like this. Sometimes I'll just do my makeup like this and call it a day. Won't do the brows. Maybe add a little gel, some mascara, glossy lip and this is it. Like to me this looks so pretty but obviously we gon' zhuzh it up a little bit. So I'm gonna take this color right here and this is what I'm gonna contour with and I'll just put some on my brush. I like to really spread this brush out. Kind of damage it but I like it to get this size. So at least I'm covering some real estate. It's not taking me too long and I'm gonna add some more bronzer contour to my forehead. You see how it just naturally like look at that. I love this kind of makeup now. I like that. I still do under my lip to give that a little gives it a little pout. This is why I really love this brush because when we do the jawline it's very precise. Literally like you're painting your face. Like look at that. I don't know if it's just me but one side for some reason like both sides used to be so chiseled and now this side just I don't know what she did. I could just be seeing stuff. No but you see this? I got this now. Look. I don't know what happened. It's like I woke up one day and is that a jowl? Oh my gosh is that a jowl? It might be. But I got that um even before I did like my massetter Botox so I know it's not from that. Like I had it a few years before that so I'm trying to figure out if it's just it's just age. It is what it is but if I can fix it I'm gonna fix it. I'm gonna contour the chin because I like for the chin to look a little more pointy. I like the oval shape. I'm going to face tune in real time. I love this brush. Oh let me oh what is it? Oh okay so this is Morphe x Ariel. So this is like a really old collection. I don't even know if they still sell it but this brush right here the whole collection honestly was top tier. Now I'm gonna slightly slightly contour the cheekbones. You see how because of the shape because how small the brush is it just gets in that cheekbone really really nice. I kind of like to get this part of my ear. I don't know I could be crazy but I like bronze in my ears. I like it. I think it adds something to it. I don't really contour my nose like that. I really decide to I'll do something just light but I don't really I let kind of the blush do that which I'm going to show you in a little bit because we we back to the blush blindness. I'm so happy we are. I'll take the leftover um contour shade and put that in my crease. As you see how it just it just gives a good balance. So pretty. Now for my favorite part the blush. This is where we get crazy. I'm so happy that blush is coming back like using large amounts. Blush on the nose. I put blush in my crease. Um it's just super pretty. So this is the L'Oreal Lumi and this is in the shade Dewy Rich Coral which is like that pretty summertime orange even if it's fall. I'm still gonna let me do orange. I also like to use this as a lip and then I can have like that monochromatic look which I still am obsessed with. So I'll blend this out and I like to focus it like on the outer parts of my cheeks even sometimes up to the temple. And I don't smile when I apply mine because when you smile your cheek is up here and then when you have a blank face and let go of that smile then it drops. So how pretty that is. And kiss look. I love the freckles. Go back in with my foundation brush just to blend out any harsh. Okay we're almost done. Here's where I go back and I set everything with powder. I wasn't just gonna leave it like this especially now that I'm in Houston it is too hot and this will not last. In LA this would last. So I'm gonna take my Benefit Hoola. This is the Hoola Caramel and I'm gonna use, this is a Sephora brush, this is the blush and bronzer brush 04 and I'm just gonna go over the contour and set it. I'm not gonna lie I just squeeze the brush like this and go over my nose. Of course my forehead because it gets very oily so it has to be set. I'm gonna use one of my favorite blush palettes. I've been killing this palette for a few years now. This is the Lunar Beauty Moon Prism Blush and all these colors just like every single one is just so pretty. Sometimes I even take my brush and I'll use all of them but right now I'm going to probably mix a bit of this one and this one and set my blush. Like look how pretty that is it matches it perfectly and it kind of just gives it that little extra um because when I wear blush throughout the day it ends up coming off so it's not even gonna look like this in a few hours honestly. Then whatever's left on my brush I'll put that on the nose and then I'll also dab some in my crease see I think that's just so pretty gives it like a nice pink tint. Now I'm finally gonna do my brows if you were wondering when I was gonna do them sometimes I'll start with my brows sometimes I'll do it in the middle sometimes in the end I just do it when I feel like it. This right here if you have never used let me get this if you've never used the Rare Beauty Brow Harmony I don't know what you're doing y'all this is one of the top brow gels in the game. I feel like honestly it's um Rares first then that L'Oreal one oh my gosh and then there's another one I forget what it's called it's not like a super big brand but maybe I'll do like my favorite my top 10 top 5 eyebrow gels so I really coat it like look at how it just brought that back to life and I'm still a fan of brushing the brow hairs up okay I'm doing it I don't care and then I'll push down on my eyebrow hairs because this sets it it really sets like kind of like got2b gel honestly that's what it feels like it's an eyebrow gel that's like got2b but without cresting and you know it doesn't because if it did it would have done it already because I already have makeup on and they just came out with a tinted one which is really nice because I won't even fill my eyebrows in with that one. I'm gonna let them set and I'm gonna do my lip. I'm gonna line with Juvia's Place and this is the Longwear Lip Liner in the color So Rare and it's super pretty it's definitely more on the cool tone side of the browns so I'm not gonna put a base or a lipstick so I'm gonna use this Pixi Beauty Lip Gloss and it's in well they call it a lip tone it's in the color Pink Patina and it's so pretty look it's like this pretty shimmer pink shimmer and yes I'll wear this as an everyday lip I do not care it's just so pretty and girly and flirty and every time I wear it I always get compliments on it look how pretty that is come on that is gorgeous all right now I'm gonna do my brows because it does look like I mean I could leave it like this but I just want to add a little zhuzh to it this is the the lip bar brow pencil micro brow pencil the color is this medium brown I'm just gonna fill in my little bald spots that are struggling right now okay brows are done you see it needed a little something just to give some balance now we're gonna finish it off with some bottom mascara I lied we're not finished I'm gonna go in with the Charlotte Tilbury airbrush flawless finish powder this is a medium two and I'm gonna use this brush which is another morphe brush this is the N282 it's a liquid highlighter brush but I'm gonna use it for powder and I'm only gonna put it I know it's crazy doing this after I put mascara but I don't care this is really how I do it I live life backwards sometimes I'm just gonna put it in the areas that I already see I'm getting oily a very light amount because you see that part here is getting shiny goodness gracious I haven't even been that long but I can't complain because the oil is going to keep me looking young get that chin and then I like to get around my mouth because for some reason around my mouth gets a little greasy too it's really weird now how I really make sure that it lasts all day this is my favorite combo that I just discovered this weekend I could be late don't care on a train now we doing it let me show you these bad boys right here but together so the one size until dawn mattifying waterproof spray and then the L'Oreal Paris three second setting mist these two together I'm gonna do the matte one first because I feel like the L'Oreal gives me back a bit of the dew because I want it to be matte but not really like I want my face to last but I still like the glow to come through um and not be too matte if that makes sense but anyways I'm gonna take this and then L'Oreal one after I spray it try not to make too many facial expressions because it's actually setting and I kind of felt I scrunched my face right now and when that happens it'll like go into the under eye lines so just be a little careful with that but when I tell you your makeup will not go anywhere how do we like it this is my everyday makeup never fails pretty peachy pinky it's gonna last it doesn't feel heavy on the face it really doesn't take long to do I promise you like once you get the routine down I can do this in 10-15 minutes you
