Move with Me to Oxford Uni 🧳🍂 | Room Tour, Unpacking & First Days as a Fresher Vlog

So here we are at the Radcliffe camera Okay, so tomorrow I am finally moving in to Oxford Crazy, I know I feel like I've been waiting for this for years and I can't believe it's actually here I'm Izzy by the way, I'm gonna study PPE at Oxford So today it is 27th of September and I still have a few things left to do So I have to pack my bags as you can see here I still have so many things that I have to pack for my formals and other things then tomorrow I have a flight from Barcelona to London and then I'll have to take the bus. So I'll see you guys tomorrow and bye-bye Good morning. I Just woke up. It's 7 a.m. Right now and I haven't woken up this early since I finished My IV exams, I'm so tired But it's fine. I'll just go and do my makeup and then I'll head to the airport with my mom. So see you then Okay, so I finally arrived to my student accommodation it is 535 p.m Right now and it looks amazing. Let me just show you right now So when you enter my dorm here, you'll see you I have this massive wardrobe It's pretty spacious so I could store most of my things already here Then I have on the left this bathroom. So my room is in suite, which means I have my own bathroom and It's pretty spacious as well. It's perfect. I'd say and Then over here I have my desk with a lot of storage for my things for university and I put up some pictures on this wall, which is where you can actually put pictures with pins and Then my favorite part of my room is this little area right here where I can just like lay down and read a book with like the gorgeous view of my Central college so you can see I have a little hangout space as well then over here I also have this mini fridge, which is super cute and pretty useful and Another mirror. I also have this kitchen area, which I'm gonna show later. Then I have a double bed I don't know how I got this lucky because most first years have a room in that building over there, which is nice But it's like older you should get a single bed and you don't get your own bathroom So I really lucked out this time. I have this massive bed, which are already somewhat decorated more storage space where I put like medicine so I can avoid freshers flu and Other things that I might need and that's pretty much it for my room. I also got this Little thing where I can store my jackets then the kitchen is on the side of my room It's like right next to it and there's this massive kitchen which no one's really using right now because I arrived early making seeds like all the way over there and I have a lot of storage space. I also got given some like Utensils and forks and everything I need for the kitchen and I claimed this little area right here I put some stuff that I might need in the future for tea or right now And I also got this massive fridge, which I assume is like a communal fridge where we can store like different levels I'm not entirely sure but yeah, I got a kettle I got like basics a microwave and a little space right here so we can eat anything we want and It's all good, honestly So now I'll just finish unpacking a couple of the things that I've left I also got a couple pictures printed like this one where I'm at my college with my mom and my dad Got this one of my mom and this one of like my entire mom's side of the family So I'm just gonna put them here and pin boards right there So here you can see my desk so far I printed all these pictures with my my best friend my boyfriend and my family So I think it's pretty cute and honestly when I'm homesick, I think this is gonna help me a lot So now that I finished packing my room I will finally get to see the main side of my college Which is so pretty as we can see from the outside and I think after that I also go to Westgate Which is the mall we have here at Oxford and just buy a couple things. I still need and just go explore around So I'll see you then Honestly today was so much better than I expected Like I was so nervous this morning and now I'm like, you know sitting in my room Which by the way is way nicer than I thought I'd get So it still doesn't feel real to me that I'm here like, oh my god I live in Oxford now, which is crazy it kind of just tells me that anyone can apply and Just give it a risk and give it a go because I never thought that I'd get in So if you're watching this video hoping that one day you might get to study here. I definitely recommend you apply It's so beautiful you can see in these clips It's absolutely gorgeous in a day and at night in this sunset. It just feels like a Harry Potter type of dream Like it's amazing So now I'm back at my dorm as you can see I'm about to go to sleep But I've never been this excited just for the next day to come and I'm gonna meet some other freshers and hopefully, you know become friends in the long term and I'm just So incredibly grateful So yeah tomorrow, I'm gonna finally see the dining hall possibly I'm not sure if they're gonna let me in but hopefully enjoy today and I'll see you tomorrow Good morning. It's officially my second day at Oxford. Yay and The weather today is pretty gray. So it's a bit depressing right now I'm so excited for today because I'm gonna eat breakfast with another fresher So I'm finally gonna meet someone from my college I also want to go to the gym and just log in a bit before, you know Freshers starts and they go to study for all those free reading books that I have and yay. I'm so excited So I just came back from eating breakfast with this girl and oh my god First of all of the hall was so beautiful I'll put up some pictures right here But it was so like dark academia like aesthetic like I cannot complain about eating like four months here It's just so gorgeous Then like the food it really felt like you know It was all-inclusive like hotel resorts where you can eat like everything for like breakfast it really felt like that because there was like so many different things you can eat so many eggs so many food so many everything and Always expected food in the UK to be bad because I always heard the rumors, you know What's like the UK that Oh British food is like kind of man, but no, it's actually at least for breakfast so far It's pretty good in my college. So and of course the girl I just met she studied Chinese, which is such an interesting subject Like I really wanted to learn Mandarin and I think we're gonna make good friends I'm really excited to hang out with her more and other people So yeah right now I'm gonna go eat breakfast. Well a second breakfast with my mom and my sister I mean who can complain about a second breakfast not me and then we'll go to like Tesco's or like st Barry's just so I buy some ingredients for dinner or lunch and I'll see you guys then So here we are at the Radcliffe camera So we just got back from the shopping spree Let me just do a little shopping haul So I got these so I can just walk around the dorm without wearing shoes. I also got this teddy So when I'm feeling sick, I can put like warm water inside and then I can just put on my stomach Then I got some skincare from TK Maxx Honestly, not because I particularly need it but just if I have like friends over I can like just do the skincare with them and just have some fondants a face mask and Also, these like eye patches that you can just put over here and then I just got some makeup powder and some Brushes that I just forgot in Barcelona And then we just got like three big bags of just food that we're gonna maybe make lunch or dinner Not sure. So we ended up making potatoes with chicken and salad on the side, which was so good Actually, my sister is an amazing cook and then we visited both libraries the modern one and like the old aesthetic one And then I just decided to go study because I have so much work to do before freshers and with actual deadlines So I do have to finish it and honestly, it was so pretty It was so dark academia that I ended up loving studying even though I really don't like the content that I was studying at the moment So that was pretty much it for that day when I was walking back from the library I did see the college cat and honestly, although it was cute I feel like the cat like hates everyone and everything like in the picture I'm gonna put right here Then I did some face masks with my sister with the skincare I bought a couple hours earlier and then I made it pasta tomato pasta with my friend from St. So, yeah, the day was amazing So far Oxford is going great and there's like three days left to freshers So I'm so excited for that and if you want to watch all of that I'm gonna make a part two of my moving vlog when freshers starts and I start reading people and all the activities that are freshers So yes, stay tuned for those videos and I'll see you then What's your opinion in Oxford? opinion on Oxford It's just amazing
