"Money making magic trick" revealed + how to make

Hello there, welcome everybody, Don here once more with another magic trick. So a subscriber has asked me to make this particular gimmick, and as I was making the video for it, I realised that I'd made it before. I'd forgotten that I'd made this. So I looked at the video that I'd made previously, and realised I hadn't really gone into detail as to exactly how to make it. So I've rectified that with this video. So should you want to know how the trick is done, and also how to make this gimmick then please watch the rest of the video okay so we've got like an envelope if you like and you can see all the way around there and you can see inside but there is absolutely nothing inside there like that okay now then you're going to have to watch very very carefully because it all happens so quickly so if we shake it a little bit like that and go one two three and instant money there we go if you do that all day long you will be a millionaire by midnight just keep doing that all day okay so there we go that's the trick a nice little gimmick to have a go at making uh like i say if you want to know how to do it and how to make it please watch the rest of the video in the meantime please subscribe if you would to the channel that would help me enormously so without further ado let's get on with it so we're going to need some thin cardboard to make this i'm using one millimeter thick card so it's nice and pliable nice and thin and i've cut a piece wide that is just fractionally wider than the banknote that we want to make appear okay so that's the size the width then of the card then we need an elastic band and two matchsticks okay so cut the elastic band cut the ends off the matchstick and tie a double knot around each of the matchsticks so that we've got a piece of the rubber band about one inch apart or two and a half centimeters okay and then on that we stick two thicker pieces of card about three millimeter thick so you could stick three pieces together of one millimeter so we've got that once that's on there permanently stuck on there then we can stick that on the other side of it if i show you on the one i've done so that's what i've just done like that so that's stuck stuck permanently uh to the thicker card and the thinner base card okay and then we need a thicker piece of card that is about six or seven millimeters or about quarter of an inch five sixteenths wider than the piece we've just cut because we're going to put a border around like that stick these pieces on and then at the bottom it will be the reverse of what we've just done there so the other end of this will go under there okay so what we've got is is that going on so a nice easy way of making that work and then when it's at the top and we just hold that with our fingers like that all we have to do is let that go and that will shoot back down okay so that's the mechanism how it will work this wider piece as well will be will be shaped at the top to make it look like an envelope okay so this piece will only come up as well this piece will only come up as far as that so when this is in that position that will be there and shoot down like that so once we've got all those pieces like that ready for this to glue on there then the two holes will be determined by so when we bring that up to the top and we put that onto the side that distance between the hole in the front of the envelope that distance will determine the hole in this piece of card underneath and this hole will be determined by this size of card that we can only see there okay so when that's at the top and that's like that we can't see that hole and we can only see through this hole so if i put that in place like that that's that's all you'll see well nothing but then when we let go that shoots down and reveals the banknote underneath i may as well show you properly might i so now we can't see the banknote like that nothing there let go and it reveals the banknote okay that's how the trick works that's how it can be made easily uh this was the most problematic thing to keep this elastic band from not pulling through but with the idea of the matchsticks then it solves that problem uh so much easier okay i've got to finish it off now so i'll spray the inside black before i put the final uh piece on the top like that then spray it black again put a bit of decoration on and that will be it okay so i'll be back in one moment with it completed okay all completed now sprayed black put my decoration on all that remains now is that i load the gimmick with the banknote and that slides down underneath that inner leaf of card like that but then i found once that was in there like that it was difficult for me to pull that inner leaf up so at the bottom there where you can see they match stick with the elastic band at the bottom there and there's two pieces of thicker card i just cut a a segue out of that right hand piece of card so that i can push push that inner leaf up and then it's easy then to to pull that up and cover the banknote okay so that's the beginning of the trick show the front and the back you can even show that the whole thing is completely empty and then with a quick shake we can reveal the banknote like that okay there we go I think that's a super little magic trick to have a go at making uh okay I'll leave it with you thanks for watching the video I appreciate it uh so
