Today's episode has a few yoga postures you can do with your little kiddos at home. Remember to be safe and have fun! You can do the postures as long as you like and can repeat them as much as you like. Have fun practicing yoga as a family, at home :) We had a lot of fun filming this and I know its really difficult to get your exercise on with kids running around the house so.....there will be future episodes to come with more mommy and me yoga. I can't wait! How about you?

This video features a \"Mommy and Me\" yoga session led by Kami Rose and her niece, Hannah. The class is designed to be an engaging, bonding experience that combines traditional yoga poses with playful, interactive elements suitable for parents and young children to practice together.
Hi everyone! Welcome to Kami Rose Yoga and today we have a very special guest. This is
Hannah and she's coming to join us today for our very first Mommy and Me yoga session. This is my
niece, she's not my daughter, but she's going to help us out with today's episode on Mommy and Me
yoga. Hannah, what do you love about yoga? You love downward dog. Anything else?
No? Okay, well we'll get started today. So we'll start seated. Okay, so we can start with our legs
crossed and we're going to bring our hands to our legs, close our eyes, and we're just going to
breathe for a few seconds. So keeping your eyes closed, really breathe, focus on your breath.
Okay, now we're going to open our eyes and we're going to come to our mat. So Hannah,
go ahead and take your spot on your purple mat and we're going to come to all fours.
So bring your shoulders above your hands and your knees below your waist and we're going to do
what's called cat-cow. You know cat-cow? So you arch your back like a cat on the inhale, then
on the exhale, then as you inhale you're going to drop your head, your back down, gaze up towards
the ceiling, and exhale. Curl your spine up like a cat once more, really deep. And then inhale,
look up, drop your head down. Very good. And then your favorite one, Hannah, downward facing dog.
So bring your toes in and push back. Good job. Very good. Okay, do you want to get on my back
for this next one? Okay, so then the next one, your little one, can get on your back.
So come onto your knees, your little one's going to climb on your back, kind of like a piggyback.
Ready? And then you're going to rock back up. Okay, push it up in plank. If this is enough
for you, you're going to hold it here. Stay on there, Hannah. Really pressing into the ground
with your shoulders. As you inhale, rock forward, bringing your shoulders over your hands. Exhale,
rock back. Really pull your belly in. Are you holding tight, Hannah? Yeah. We'll do two more.
Ready? Is it kind of like a ride? Oh, keep staying on my back. Hold on tight. Inhale,
exhale, pull your belly in. Inhale, exhale. Good job. Okay, good. All right, Hannah,
come back to downward facing dog. Okay, so come back to downward facing dog.
Do you know up dog? No. Downward facing dog. Okay, as you inhale, gaze forward,
step your feet forward in between your hands. Good. And then stand up nice and tall,
reaching high up towards the ceiling. Good. Okay, we're going to come back onto my mat,
Hannah. Come on back onto my mat. Good. Are you ready? So we're going to make what's called a
tree pose. So you're going to reach. You can either reach your arms up nice and tall, or if
you want, you can place your foot on your leg like that. Can you do that? No. There we go. You
can use me as a support. Very good. Okay, reach your left arm nice and high. Reach this arm nice
and high. Very good. Okay, or you can bring your hands to your chest into half heart. There you go.
Thank you for covering your mouth. Okay, bring your other foot down,
and then bring your other one up. Okay, you have your foot up. You're only bouncing on your one
foot. Okay, do you want to rest your hand on my knee? Okay. Mom's bringing your hands to heart
center. Your child can rest and balance. Oh, good job, Hannah. You can keep your hand on my knee.
Kind of hard to balance, huh? Okay, bring your hand down, your foot down. Reach your arms up
tall like a tree, reaching high, and then exhale, fold forward. Good job. We're just
going to fold forward here for just a little bit. Next thing you're going to do is come up onto your
knees. Good, and then this hand on this side is going to stay next to your leg. This arm you're
going to reach up nice and tall. Gaze up towards your fingers. Good, and then you're going to pull
and bend this hand that way. Good, just like this, Hannah. See, like this, and keep your gaze
up towards these fingers. Look at these fingers. Hannah, look at these fingers. Here we go. Good.
Okay, bring this hand down to your side. This one comes up. This one stays by your leg.
Reach your left arm up. Gaze towards your left fingers, and then reach over,
yeah, over your head like this. Right, remember this one? Good. Okay, bring this hand down.
All right, reach both arms up, and then exhale, sitting back down on your knees. Good job.
You know some other mommy yoga? Let's do this one again. So, Hannah, you come up to the front of
your mat so people can see you better. There you go. Okay, kneel down. All right. All right, next
posture we're going to do is going to work our belly, and it's going to work our legs. So, bring
your hands into the mat. Come on your knees. Good. Perfect. Keep your hands just like that, and then
this leg, Hannah, you're going to left, right leg. You're going to reach long. Gaze down towards your
fingers. Really stretch your long legs. Stretch it long. Look down towards your fingers. Down towards
your fingers. Moms, if you want to increase the difficulty, you can raise your arm up. Okay, and
then you're going to bring your knee in just like this. Hannah, remember you wanted to do that?
So, bring your knee in. Okay, you can bring your elbow to your knee, and then stretch it long again.
Stretch it long, legs long. Good. Knee down. You can do that more than once if you'd like. All right, other
leg. Right, okay. Put your hands down. Gaze towards your fingers. Look at your fingers, Hannah. Look at
your fingers. Good. This leg goes long. Left leg goes long. Really reach, stretch. Moms, if you want
your right arm to come up. Good, and then bring your knee in towards your chest. Bring it in towards
your face. Good, and stretch it long. I can't do that. It's okay. You don't have to do it. All right, Hannah,
let's end it out. Let's end the posture. Okay, look down at your fingers. Put your hands, knees. Good, and
then sit up. High five. The next posture you're going to do is just separate your legs really
nice and wide, so go as wide as you can. Okay, maybe you have to stagger. There you go. Perfect,
Hannah, and then just fold forward. Bring your hands forward. Stretching forward, you can drop your head
down. You can point your toes up towards the ceiling if you can. Gaze at your fingers. Gaze at your
fingers and really breathe. Good, and then as you inhale, bring your arms up. Stretch them high,
and then exhale. Fold forward once more. Stretch, stretch, stretch. Maybe bring your elbows. Hannah,
can you bring your elbows down? Look at that. Good job. Okay, one more. Inhale, bring your arms up
nice and tall, and then exhale once more. Fold down, maybe going a little bit lower.
Can you bring your elbows down? Maybe can you bring your face down to the ground?
Oh, good job, Hannah. Look, I can smell your foot. Ew, just kidding. Okay, inhale. Bring your arms up
really tall, and then bring your hands down. Good job. Next posture, we're just going to do a
downward facing dog, but we're going to stick our leg up. So, come to your knees. Bring your hands
down. Put your toes into the mat, and then push up into downward facing dog right first. Good,
and then reach one leg up. One leg up off the mat. This is the one you wanted to do,
Hannah. Remember? Good job. Okay, release. Pressing your heart towards your thighs.
Exhale. Bring that leg down. Switch your feet. Inhale. Lift your other leg up. Other foot up.
Good job. Good. Exhale. Go down once more on both sides. Okay, put your one foot down,
and then switch your feet. Lift your other leg on the inhale. Exhale. Come down. Inhale. Other
leg comes up. Good. Put that foot down. Bring your knees to the mat. Sit up. Very good. High five.
All right, next posture we're going to do is just going to add a little bit more intensity. So,
it's just like the one we did before, but a little bit more. So, your little one's going
to come behind you. Hug you like you're giving a piggyback. Good. You're going to come to all
fours. Really pull your belly in. It doesn't hurt your back. Tuck your toes in. Lift up,
and then just lift one leg. Really pull your belly in. Pull your belly in. Whoa, Hannah. Exhale down.
Inhale up. Hold on tight. Leg down once more both sides. Hold on tight, Hannah. Hold on tight.
Down. Inhale up. Exhale down. Very good, Hannah.
Okay, next posture. Start on your knees. You're going to press up. Good. Put your hands on your
lower back, and as you inhale, reach up. Exhale. Fold back, pushing your hips forward, dropping
your head back. Good. Inhale. Come up. Head comes up last. Should we do one more, Hannah? See if
we can reach your ankles? Yeah? Okay. Hands on your lower back first. Really inhale. Pull your
belly in. Exhale. Press your hips forward, maybe reaching for your ankles. Good. Pressing your hips
forward. Inhale. Head comes up last. Good, and then we're just child's pose. So, bring your hands in
and sit back on your feet. Good. Sit back on your feet. Good, and drop your head into the mat. Child's
pose. Oh, Hannah. All right, very last posture of today's episode is going to be lotus or just
some comfortable seated position. So, take your right foot up and then your left foot up. Good
job, Hannah. Hey, or you can just take a comfortable seated position, really trying to
work on opening up your hips. Okay, bring your hands together. Press your palms together. Good.
Close your eyes. We're just going to breathe for a little bit. Okay, closing your eyes.
Bring your chin towards your chest. Good. Bring your head down just a little bit.
Okay, open your eyes. All right, bring your hands together. Good. Bow to yourself,
thanking yourself for your practice, and thank you for sharing your practice with us today. Ready?
One, two, three. Namaste. Good job, Hannah. High five. Let's go get a snack.
Your hair smells good. My hair smells good? All right, climb on my back.
