Moc Chau, Viet Nam Trip
Arriving in Mokcho, the sound of wheels rolling on the mountain road, the mist drifting.
Noah and Emma sat on the local bus, their heads leaning on each other's shoulders,
their eyes filled with curiosity as the bus rounded the winding passes.
Emma, voiceover, gentle.
We were chasing the clouds, and Mokcho was waiting above them.
The bus stopped at a small wooden homestay in the middle of a tea hill.
A Hmong girl ran out to greet them, smiling brightly.
Noah whispered softly,
This feels like a Miyazaki movie, but real.
Tea hills and early morning sun.
Early in the morning, the two walked among the lush green tea hills.
Thin wisps of mist still clinging to the leaves.
Emma wore a brocade shirt rented from the market.
Noah struggled to tie a checkered scarf around his head.
Noah jokingly,
Green tea in New York? Overrated.
Green tea fields in Vietnam? Unreal.
Emma laughed loudly,
pulling Noah's hand to sit down,
sipping fresh tea that the locals had just brewed.
Exploring the village.
The two rented a motorbike,
crossed the white mustard fields,
and visited a small Hmong village.
They pounded rice cakes with the locals,
learned hand embroidery,
and then ate dinner with the whole family on the wooden floor.
An old woman stroked Emma's hair and smiled gently.
They are as beautiful as the boys and girls in the village.
Noah didn't understand but laughed along.
Emma, translating softly,
she says we're perfect together.
The camera captured the scene of the sunset
covering the small village in gold.
Smoke rising between the mountains and hills.
Campfire night.
At night, they joined the campfire with the local youth.
Emma danced around the fire,
while Noah played a guitar and played a few off-key chords,
making the group laugh.
A boy handed Noah a branch of mustard flowers.
Give it to me!
Noah awkwardly handed the flowers to Emma.
Emma looked at him, her eyes sparkling.
Emma whispering,
I think I'm falling in love with this place.
And maybe with this moment.
Dawn of farewell.
Early the next morning,
they stood on the Mok Chau glass bridge,
clouds drifting lazily beneath their feet.
Noah turned to Emma,
holding the camera to capture her smiling brightly in the sunlight.
Emma, voiceover, softly,
some trips are short,
but the feeling lasts forever.
The end.
