MESSI GOAT — Thank You, Leo 🇦🇷🐐

Look at what it means. Look at this. Everyone is clapping. Because you're looking at him and this is what it means to him. He won already, well, everything. And look at the guy. Look at the passion, the desire, the love that he has for his country and how much he puts into it. And we have to give a lot of credit to Soto Scarloni because when he arrived in the national team he didn't look like he was going to be that way. ...collection there on the way through until they line something up here. Argentina, oh, it's gone in. Oh, and who else? Lionel Mesega for Argentina. LeBlanc, Messi trying to sneak in behind. Messi has snuck in behind. As he has done 19 prior times in his career. Has done again. 20th career World Cup goal. Argentina out in front here in Miami. And they just lull you into a false sense of security and then that moment you switch off, Messi comes to life. I want you to watch his movement on this goal. As soon as he's in contact with his teammate, bottom of your screen, little boom, there goes the run. Here come Argentina. Brilliant ball by Messi. Julio Alvarez, good save. Here's the chance for Peperini. He tees up Messi. Is this another one? Lionel Messi, there's the block. And Messi again, awesome. The great man scores again. The little man in the white boots might be on his way to the golden boot in 2026. Right up the gut, what a ball that is. Messi on the turn, options on his side. Lionel Messi, there's your history. Messi, there's the magic man again. He's pointing at, it's Rodrigo de Paul. Fires it in, looking for Julio Alvarez. Clarence Owen as far as Alexis McAllister. The dex and on the save. All-time top goal scorer. Messi with two, Argentina with two. Total control for the defending champions. It's a brilliant turn to take from Messi. On his back foot, clear foul. So what can Messi do this time? Hits it low. Hits it in. In successive World Cups. For the world champions. Now Medina, pulled back here, lets it run. Messi! Messi scores the goal to make him the World Cup all-time leading scorer. Wonderful moment. Alvarez, dishing it off. Messi was in position. Off-right header. Back into it. Messi to hook. Good save for Enzo, back to Prodago. Argentino. Enzo Fernandez. Goes a long way. Into the net as well. McAllister. Got on the end of that one. And Argentina have an early lead. Delivered by the Liverpool man. Little Messi. Messi's here. Argentina are alive. Messi. McAllister. Messi! And still he excels. While he's here. For sure they do. Incredible. He's done most of his work. 30-30. Argentina. And they're facing Messi here. Messi held up by Guardiola. Messi away from Guardiola. Obelisk mischief. His ultimate game. This is miraculous. I mean, he's boxed in tight on the touchline. How on earth does he slip by Guardiola? Messi. Drop of the shoulders. Half a yard of space. Back it goes into Molina. Moment of Messi magic once more. Messi. Fernandez. Martinez. The referee's given the goal. Messi with such immaculate poise. The trophy is passed into the hands of Genius. Argentina.
