Liudmila Samsonova vs. Elena Rybakina | 2025 Strasbourg Final | WTA Match Highlights.

Semi-final in Abu Dhabi followed, quarterfinal in Doha, a semi-final in Dubai. Results though just tailing off a little bit and like Samsonova this is her best performance. It's a magnificent finish. A very good set of tennis from the former Wimbledon champion, a player who's won a couple of titles on the surface to her opponent Zero. Now it's rather more awkward than it seemed at first. Playing Strasbourg, she took out Haddad Maya last year to reach the semis. It's massive. And there it is, another huge forehand winner. We are heading to a deciding third here on court, Patrice Dominguez, Ludmilla Samsonova. Not one of her best drop shots. So her first title in over a year for Elena Rybakina, the former world number three, getting the better of Ludmilla Samsonova for the second straight time. What a wonderful third set performance that was. It gives Rybakina a ninth career title. It sees her at number eight on the live WTA race and opponents for the rest of the 2025 season will be very fearful of the 2022 Wimbledon champion. That was something special and she celebrates with coach David Sanguinetti, a first title in the bag for these two. Partnership, which is growing stronger and stronger. She wins the match 6-1, 6-7, 6-1.
