I Tried 7 Egg Coffees in Hanoi 🇻🇳 | Original vs. Popular Cafes – Which Is Best?

This drink is serving cà phê throughout Vietnam, originating in Hanoi, the game cà phê. So today's video, I'm going to try 7 different egg coffee in Hanoi, Vietnam. From the original shop to the newly trending spot. Let's get started. Hello everyone, now I'm at Hanoi, Vietnam. The first place of egg coffee. So now, I'm gonna go try my first egg coffee here. And the place I'm gonna go is a really popular coffee shop called Coffee Kèm. It got over 13,000 Google reviews and got 4.4 stars. That was crazy, so let's go take a look. Table for one? Anywhere? Yeah, sure, of course. Okay, I will have an egg coffee hotpot. Thank you. I heard that this cà phê is opened by the inventor of egg coffee. So the flavor here, definitely really authentic. I got really high expectation of this one. Thank you. Wow, it really served in a hot water to keep you warm. That's really classic. I think we can try the cream on top first. So creamy. It just tastes like a pudding, you know? That kind of egg pudding. And got a little bit coffee flavor on top. It's like a dessert. I think we have to mix now. Mix the coffee on this. Let's take another sip. Wow, I would say it's really amazing. The coffee on the bottom is actually quite bitter, I would say. But when you mix with the cream on the top, it's like so smooth. The next egg coffee I'm going to try is inside a cà phê called Le Mon Le Mer. And I heard that their egg coffee is quite special. They infuse the rum inside their egg coffee. It sounds really cool. So let's go take a look. Le Mer egg coffee and also this one, lemon tree cake. Thank you. Wow, this cà phê was so cool. I think it's not only a cà phê but also a bar. Because I found that they have cocktail on their menu as well. The vibe inside is like really really amazing. Thank you. Go inside. Mix together. Okay. Thank you. Wow, it looks really cool. I think they just separate the cream on the top of the egg coffee and the espresso. So I think we can try the cream first. Later put the espresso inside. So nice. Wow, it can be a dessert. That kind of really creamy cream flavor. And with some of the coffee powder on the top is like so nice. This one is so good. Okay, so now let's put the espresso inside. Mix it all together. So it will end up look like this. Wow. That was so nice. And when you mix with the espresso, it will be a little bit warm. Wow, super creamy. That was so good. Highly recommend. The next egg coffee I'm gonna try is in a very famous cafe called Loading Tea. They got over a thousand of Google reviews and got 4.8 stars. Some people say they got very, very good egg coffee. And the cream on the top is super delicious. So let's go take a look. I will have a hot egg coffee. One hot egg coffee. Yeah, that's all. Thank you. Wow, their egg coffee looks really, really beautiful. I think we can try the cream on the top first. Very creamy. Quite strong cinnamon flavor, I think. I think we can mix it. Okay, try another sip. The cinnamon flavor is really, really, really strong. If you are a person who really likes cinnamon, you will love this one. But unfortunately, I'm not that like cinnamon. So this one for me is actually a little bit too much. The cream on the top is really, really strong and rich. Really, really creamy. It's already like a different layer. So when you drink it, you will have the cream first and later the coffee. Even though I mixed it together already. And this one is a little bit bitter and sour at the same time. If you are a person who really likes cinnamon, then I think this one is for you. Recommend for you guys. The next egg coffee I'm gonna try is in a cafe called Tai Yan Coffee. And they got some of the branch in Hanoi. Some people say their egg coffee is really, really nice. It just tastes like a dessert. So let's go take a look. I want this one. Egg coffee, right? Is it egg coffee? Okay. Hot one. Thank you. Wow. Their egg coffee is the small one and it's quite cute. Let's try the cream on the top. And they cover with some chocolate powder as well. I want another one. It's that kind of cream flavor. A bit sweet. Still got a little bit egg flavor. But it's not too obvious. Let's try with the chocolate powder. Their chocolate powder is quite good. Very strong chocolate flavor. And it's not too sweet. A little bit bitter. Now we can mix it all together. So it will end up like this. Take a sip. Wow. This one really nice. Sweet, bitter, little bit caramel flavor. Very creamy. It's really, really like a dessert rather than a coffee. Not bitter at all. I would not say it is authentic or not. If you want to have more cream flavor rather than the coffee, then I would say their egg coffee is a good choice. The more you mix, the more that kind of coffee flavor will come out. And I know why they give me a cup of water. Because it's a bit sweet. Not bad as well. Recommend for you guys. So I would say their egg coffee is actually quite good. Quite sweet and really creamy. So if you are looking for that kind of dessert style egg coffee, then I would say here is a good place. The next egg coffee I'm gonna try is a cafe called Cafe Dim. And I heard that it's owned by the inventor of the egg coffee's daughter. So some people say the flavor is a little bit similar to the cafe dim, but got its own special flavor. So let's go take a look. The egg coffee hot one. Thank you. Okay, here comes my egg coffee. Wow, they even got latte art on the top. It looks pretty nice. Let's try the cream on the top first. You know, this cream was really, really good. It's like a pudding. Really yum out there. And not really that sweet. You can still taste a little bit egg flavor. Not too strong. Okay, now we can mix it all together. Wow, their egg coffee is a really creamy one. Try another flavor. Espresso on the bottom is a really, really bitter one. Directly drink it. Wow, really, really strong flavor. Quite bitter. But I would say, yeah, you can taste really good coffee flavor. If you are the person who likes strong coffee flavor, I think this one is for you. Recommend for you guys. The next egg coffee I'm gonna try is a cafe called Egg Your Coffee. Some people say their egg coffee is really, really strong. And the container they use is really cute. Also, the interior design is really lovely. So let's go take a look. Well, this egg coffee hot one. Single yolk. Thank you. Guys, their egg coffee is so amazing, so cute. And even give me some of the coffee. I think it's like black coffee for me to taste later. Wow, that's really nice. And you see the design. Really, really lovely. It's really like an egg. The next air coffee I'm gonna try is in a cafe called Old Day Coffee. Some people say they got really, really good coffee. And I thought that they will put the air coffee in a very cute egg-shaped mug. So let's go take a look. Table for one. Oh, it's very crowded, so this big table. Yeah, sure. When I have a separate table, I will switch. Okay, sure. Thank you. I can order now. I will have the air coffee. Old Day Coffee. Yeah, that's all. Thank you. Okay, my air coffee arrived. You see, the air coffee was so cute. Big shape of mug. And the cream on top is super, super creamy. I think we can try the cream first. I think they put the honey inside to mix with the egg. The cream got very strong honey flavor. That was so delicious. Oh my god. Super good. It's like a sweet. Over my expectation. I thought it just looks very cute. But I don't know that flavor was this good. It seems like their cream is super, super thick. So it's really hard to mix it all together. I start to smell the kind of fragrance from espresso. Wow, that was so good. Let's try another bite. Wow, another flavor. I'll directly drink it. Honey air coffee. Many different flavors. When the coffee and the cream mix it all together, it's still really, really creamy. Really smooth. The texture is really nice. It's not too bitter, not sweet. It's got quite good balance also. Their cream is the best. Really, really good. This one, Old Day Coffee. Highly recommend for you guys. I felt that they are more like a brunch restaurant. They are not only got coffee. So if you guys wanna enjoy the coffee and enjoy the meal together, I think this one, good choice. So after trying seven air coffee in Hanoi, Vietnam, I'm gonna share some of the air coffee that I really like to you guys. The first one is Old Day Coffee. Their air coffee is really, really nice. The flavor was so good. I really like their cream on the top. It's like really good flavor. And I believe they definitely put honey inside. So if you are an air coffee lover, also a honey lover, then I'll say Old Day Coffee is a place that you have to visit. Even though their price is more than normal air coffee, but I'll say it's a brunch restaurant. So I think it's still acceptable. And the next one I'm gonna share is Loma Loma. Their air coffee is so good. The cold air coffee is really nice. Their cream and also the espresso is all really nice. The cream is really, really like a dessert. I really like it. And when you put the espresso inside, they mix it all together. The flavor is really, really balanced. And the vibe inside is really nice as well. Really chill. So I highly recommend you guys to try Loma Loma. And I'll also recommend you guys to try The Coffee Gang, the original shop of air coffee. Cause only if you try the original flavor, then you will know what original air coffee should be like. Then you can look forward to find your own preference. Like you want more strong egg flavor or you want more coffee flavor. So I think this is the original shop. It's a must-do activity in Hanoi as well.
