Danger, no swimming?
Oh my goodness!
This is not looking good.
It's nothing different than water.
Oh my gosh, Grace, your leg looks so bad.
What is that? It's scaly and stuff.
Beach Week! Beach Week! Beach Week!
Welcome to the vlog.
Grace, me, Matt, and Buzz
are heading our way to Carolina Beach
in North Carolina. We're going to be having
so much fun because we rented
a million dollar beach house
and we're pulling up right now.
Buzz, are you so excited for the beach?
He's going to love the beach so much.
Oh my goodness, he gets to go swimming in the water
and maybe build sand castles
and maybe you can dig in the sand
and find some yummy stuff
to eat and get in trouble.
Yeah, and the best part is, guys,
is that we are literally on the sand
so we can just walk straight from
the house onto the water
and into the beach so we can swim.
It's going to be so perfect.
Beach front house. Doesn't get better than that.
And here we are, guys.
This is the house and it's literally right next to the
Ferris wheel. Look at that!
No way!
Look at that. We are right there
next to the Ferris wheel.
That's going to be so much fun.
We are literally steps away from the beach
and the entire boardwalk with rides
and roller coasters and probably lots of ice cream too.
Buzz, are you excited?
Yeah, he's smiling. Oh my gosh, he's so excited.
I can't wait to see the house.
I know, it's going to be so amazing. I can't wait to see the ocean
and jump in the water. And guys,
I am still injured
so I'm going to be walking the whole
day in this beach trip with crutches.
I got my knee brace.
I had a really bad fall
and completely messed up my knee.
But today we're going to be staying positive
so let's go in this house and go for the grand reveal.
Oh my gosh, guys.
Look at the view. It's so amazing.
That's the ocean right there.
We get to see so much of it.
We're so close. Grace, look at this.
Oh my gosh.
Look at that. The beach is right there.
This is so perfect.
Guys, I am so excited
about this house. Matt, what do you think?
Oh my gosh, it's amazing.
Come closer. You can really
see it all.
Oh my goodness. Look at that.
There's palm trees, the ocean,
there's waves. Look at that.
Wow. There's people in the
water and people still
out on the sand. You can even see
out. Look at the window. Oh, baby.
Can you see the ocean? Yeah.
Guys, Buzz is literally seeing the ocean
for the first time. Oh my goodness.
That is so cute. He has his own little window.
Let's go. Oh my
gosh. Guys, this is incredible.
We are at the
beach. The ocean is literally
right there, just steps away.
Even though I hurt my knee
and I'm on crutches, I'm going to be
easily able to hop on my way out
to the beach, no problem. I don't think there's
anything that's stopping
us getting to the ocean today,
jumping in for a swim, and having
an incredible time living our lives.
It's summer, the weather's perfect,
and the ocean, it's right
there. Are you kidding me?
I want to go jump in right now.
And Buzz is going to be living.
Oh my gosh.
Buzz, he hasn't taken his eyes
off of the ocean this whole time.
I know. He's like, oh, it looks so fun.
Buzz, look over at me.
He's not even listening. Oh my gosh.
I think he loves the ocean.
He can't stop looking.
He can't wait to go out there.
Why don't we go get changed, put our swimsuits
on, head out to the ocean right
now. We got to just jump in the water.
Are you so excited? He's so excited.
Swimsuit reveal.
Check it out, guys. I got a bright
pink beach towel with some
stripes. It's going to be perfect for sitting on.
And I got my blue striped
trunks and my brace
and crutches. So I'm going to see how wet I can
get. It really depends on how my knee
is feeling. Let's see what Grace decided
to wear. I'm all ready for the beach.
Got my blue towel and my pink swimsuit.
Looking good. Who's next?
Oh my gosh, it's baby
Buzz. You're all ready.
That is so cute, guys. He's got a bright
neon orange life jacket. Look how cute
he is. Oh my gosh, that's perfect.
And if he gets sucked out by a massive wave
or something scary, we'll definitely be able
to see him. So I love that it's both stylish
and safety. Hey Matt, are you ready?
I'm ready. I forgot the
pink, though. You guys didn't tell me about the pink.
All I have is the blue. No pink top.
That's okay, Matt. Blue is really good. Let's go have
fun at the beach. Let's do it. Come on, guys.
It's getting late. We got to get
wet. We got to jump in the ocean.
Yeah, this is going to be so fun.
Oh, wait. Hold up.
What is that sign? Do you see that?
Yeah. It says
don't swim or something. I don't understand.
That can't be real, is it? I thought we could
swim here. We might have a problem.
What the heck is this? Look at this
sign right here. What does that say?
Danger, no swimming?
I don't understand. Grace, do you see that?
Yeah, what does that mean? Go for it.
Let's just do it. Really? Yes.
Let's just go. We're already here. Have you seen a sign like that
before? No, I haven't seen a sign like that.
Is that real or is this
like a prank? They wouldn't just put it there, right?
No, because it's like an Airbnb,
so they probably have it for safety, but
maybe it's like off-season. It feels like a
prank. It really does. I think we should just
go for it. Let's just straight see. Like, if we
see something, then we know, but I think
other people are in the water. Let's go check it out.
Yeah, I think if other people are in the water, we should be
fine. It's just really weird. I mean, it's like
a metal sign and everything. It looks
super legit, but I can't tell.
Is it just a prank? Like, I actually don't
know. Well, whatever. Let's just keep going.
What? Another sign.
What the? That's crazy.
You gotta understand. How could there be
another sign? Okay.
Maybe there is
something. Could the beach really be like, are we
actually doing something dumb right now, or should we
just head back in and listen to these signs?
Guys, come on. We gotta go
have fun. We're supposed to be living. Let's go
out there. Who cares about the signs? What if
we just plan to say
we'll be cautious, we'll keep
an eye out for any dangers that are lurking in the
water, and if other people are swimming,
it can't be that bad, right? Yeah. Exactly.
Maybe we'll go talk to the lifeguards. Yeah, that's
a great idea. Yeah, let's do that. Let's talk to the lifeguards, and then
we'll go swimming. Wait, actually,
I have been to this beach once before, and
there was a shark attack. Sharks?
Ashley, we're talking about a shark biting a
little boy on Wednesday. I really
hope that there's no sharks
or other crazy stuff this year, but
Grace, there's literally another
sign posted on the beach. Oh my gosh. You can't
make this up. Look. What does that one
say? I don't know. What?
Oh my gosh, guys. It literally says
emergency vehicle lane
keep clear to dunes. So
they must have a lot of emergencies if they have an
entire emergency lane. Are they doing
rescues all day long because of this? I don't know, but
there's more than one.
Okay, this beach loves their
emergency signs. Is this normal for a
beach? That dune path of that house
also has the same sign as that. Look.
Yeah, it does. It has some crazy sign
out there. I think we just head right over there
to the lifeguard stand and just
talk to them. Let's go. Hopefully, we can swim.
I mean, that's why we came here. Yeah, that
would be a huge bummer, guys. We just rented
a million dollar beach house to be
so close to the sand
and we can't even use it because of all these dangers.
I feel like they're supposed to tell you that if that's
the case. Yeah, we even got Buzz a
life jacket so he can go in the water too.
Buzz is so excited. He'd be so disappointed
if we can't swim. Yeah. I really
hope the lifeguards tell us
that it's okay and that it's safe to
swim. Oh my gosh.
Well, here we are. Let's talk to them. Hey,
excuse me. Lifeguards.
Hello?
Oh, there's another danger sign. Look at that.
Restricted area. They love their
signs. What is happening? I don't get it.
It's empty. The lifeguards aren't even
here. The booth is literally
empty. What? Are they like
rescuing somebody? Like
on the vehicle? Could they be out already
rescuing? I don't know. I don't
know what's going on. This is like the strangest
beach experience and we just got
here day number one. We're supposed to be here a whole
week to swim in the ocean and
try to heal this broken knee
of mine. I need the healing powers
of mother nature on my side, guys, and
it's gonna be dangerous. I feel like if I go in there, I'm gonna get
a bit stung or maybe
worse. Honestly, with all these signs,
I don't know what's going on in that water out there.
Uh-oh. What?
Looks like it's gonna storm. Oh, don't
tell me that. We gotta go in quick, guys.
That's the one thing the signs weren't
warning about and we might have another storm
coming? If we wanna go in the water, we should probably go
in now before that storm hits. Let's just jump
in. We're gonna be fine. It's the beach. It's
sand. There's like a ferris wheel right
there. It's like a playground. We gotta be
okay. Sometimes in life, you need to take
risks and, uh,
I think today is one of those days. We're gonna be brave.
We're gonna jump in the ocean, see what happens
and just hope nothing's wrong.
He's so excited. You got this, Buzz!
Woo! Well, guys,
here goes nothing. I think with my
knee and my crutches, it's gonna
be hard for me to jump in, but I'll hang out on the
beach and then, Grace, maybe you,
maybe Buzz, Matt, you guys wanna jump in? For sure.
Definitely going in. Wait, should we go in first?
Yeah. Or bring in Buzz and then us?
Let's wait with Buzz. Yeah, wait with Buzz.
I'll hold Buzz. Me and Buzz will hang out, right, Buzz?
We'll watch. And then you
and Matt jump in the water. Okay.
And tell me if it's warm, if it's good. Maybe I can
touch my way in for a swim.
Yeah, we'll figure something out. Alright, Grace, let's go.
Let's go. This is gonna be so
fun. Beach trip!
Let's go see how the water feels.
Okay. Oh, careful, Buzz. Don't
knock me over on my crutches.
He's so excited. Let's go, Buzz,
baby. Come here, Buzz. Oh, he's
so cute, guys. Buzz is so cute.
If you guys haven't already, comment
down below, Buzz is
cute, to prove that you guys are watching
this far along in the video because look how
cute he is. You can barely even see him.
He's so little. He's scared of the water.
Why is Buzz so scared of the water?
Maybe he knows something else. Buzz, what's
going on, baby? Why are you so scared?
Why does he look like that? Oh, no.
Buzz, can you sense
that something is in the water? Guys,
there's a chance. I've always heard
this to be true, that dogs do have
like a sixth sense and they can sense danger
by smelling it.
Maybe there really is something going on
here at the beach and Buzz knows about it. He's
really scared and he's not normally scared of water
like that. There he is.
So terrified. That's so
weird. Don't get close at all.
Buzz, what's going on, baby?
I mean,
I feel like we're still okay and there is
a storm coming so if we're jumping in, Grace,
I think we gotta just go. Alright, Grace,
you ready? Let's do it. Just go for it.
Yeah, just do it. Wait, hold my hand.
Let's go over there. Alright, let's do it.
Okay, here we go.
It's warm. Oh my gosh,
it's so warm. We're not used to warm weather.
I know. Alright, I'm going under, Grace.
You're going under? Go!
They are so
cute together, guys.
That's Grace and her boyfriend,
aka fiance, Matt,
and they are jumping in the ocean for a
romantic experience, guys. This is
so cute. I'm so happy for them.
What happened?
What's going on?
I choked on salt water.
Is it extra salty or something?
It's so salty. Oh my goodness, a big wave.
A big wave. Oh my gosh, here we go.
I think they are so cute together.
I think Matt is just so sweet
and Grace is so loving. They make the perfect
match. And, oh, look at little baby
Buzz. He's still so scared.
Buzz, it's going to be okay, baby.
I don't know if I want to go under.
No, Grace, it's amazing. You should go
under. I feel like this storm is bringing
in big waves and, like, maybe
seaweed. Yeah, they do look a little bigger than
I remember, so. Look, Grace,
you've got to go for it. Pour it in the front. Watch me swim
into this. You ready? Oh my goodness.
They're going to be okay.
They're not even going that far out.
Grace is a great swimmer and Matt is really tall
and strong, so if anything happens,
we'll be fine. Okay, that was huge.
Oh my gosh, that was so big. I feel like I saw
something in that wave. I wish we could replay it.
It looked like it was, like, a jellyfish or something.
Let's get a little zoom in on them. Make sure they're doing
all right. Oh, I just
touched something.
I just touched something. No, you didn't,
Grace. Come on, we're having fun. Don't get
so scared. Okay, something
is touching me. Something is literally
touching me. Grace, there's no way. I don't feel
anything. It was, like, squishy like a
fish. Wait, what is that? There's something behind you.
I think they look good. I think
everything's looking great. Something keeps
hitting me and it's squishy.
I don't even know if it's, like, a fish or what.
Grace, there's no way. I've been right
next to you the whole time. I haven't felt anything.
No, the first thing was seaweed,
but then the last two things was squishy.
Like, I don't even know.
Grace, come on. Grace,
you always say that and there's nothing
there. But it does seem like there's a
strong current. They're getting kind of swept down
that way, northward. There's, like, a northward
current happening right now.
So we do need to be careful. And unfortunately,
guys, there's no lifeguards and
if something happens, I'm not going to be able to
jump in with this knee. This thing
hurts really bad. I can't even walk without
crutches, so I definitely am not going to be able to swim
or save anyone. Are we too far
out? No, Grace, look at those people
over there. They're right there. I know, but
look, I don't even see Carter.
He's so far. Okay, we are so far out.
Oh my goodness. All right, Grace,
I think we're getting a little too far. We
should ride away. Oh my gosh, something hit me.
What do you mean, Grace? No, wait, it was the same thing.
They are really getting swept out
kind of far. I think I need to wave them in.
I don't like how far. They're the
furthest people out deep in the ocean
right now. Guys,
Grace, Matt. Uh-oh.
Oh, I'm actually starting to get scared.
Okay, something
literally the same thing hit me.
Did it? Yeah. Oh my goodness.
What is that? It's not hitting you? No,
not at all. I'm right next to you. I don't feel anything.
Oh, wait, hold up.
Look at my knee. Oh, great.
Oh my gosh. I think it's like stung me
or something. It was kind of like sharp
like it had a scale. I'm getting nervous.
I don't like seeing my younger sister
and her boyfriend
out there. I don't want something to happen.
We just got to the beach. Guys.
Grace! Grace!
Do you guys see her?
I don't know if I see her. Buzz.
Buzz, where is she?
Buzz, do you see
Grace? Grace!
There's definitely something in the water.
No way. Oh my.
Oh my goodness. Did you not
feel that? No, Grace, I haven't felt anything.
I'm getting so scared.
Okay, I need your help. Can you zoom out in the ocean?
Can you see them? Are their heads still above
water? Grace? Oh, big wave.
Uh oh.
Where'd they go? I think Grace's head just went under.
Grace? Oh my.
Oh my gosh.
Hold me until they hit me.
Guys. Uh oh.
Oh, Grace just went under. She just
went under. Ow.
Grace, I got you.
Ow, what was that?
I got you. I got you.
Ow.
Oh my gosh, Grace, I got you. We got to go in there.
Come on. Ow. Oh no, guys.
I don't think Grace is looking
so hot. Ow.
Oh my goodness.
That was so scary.
What was that? What happened?
I don't know. This is not
looking good. Grace is being cared.
It looks like she maybe hit her head or got bit or something, guys.
I don't understand. Get me a little
water. Okay. Oh my gosh, guys.
I hope she's going to be alright. Oh my goodness.
That was so scary.
Grace, are you hurt?
Oh gosh, I feel so silly, guys.
We should have listened to those danger signs. There were many
of them. If you're ever at the beach and
there are danger signs, you have to take them seriously.
I'm really worried that Grace is not looking
okay out there. Oh my gosh, there's some
fake spirit. I've never seen you like this before.
Hey, Carter, Grace is home. Uh oh.
Matt's shouting. This is not looking good.
Grace? Oh, we should have
listened. What's going on?
Something's in my water.
Something about those warning signs?
I think so. Okay. Get me to the house.
Let's get back to the house. Luckily, the house is just
right there.
I'm coming, Grace.
Can you walk? Are you
okay? Oh no.
Oh my gosh, Grace. Your leg
looks so bad. What is that? It's scaly
and stuff. It hit me three times.
Is that like a jellyfish or a mermaid
or something? I don't know. It was squishy.
It was big. I mean, is everyone else
in the water okay, Grace? What is going
on? Grace, I didn't feel anything when I was
in the water. I should have believed you when you said there was something
going on. I know. You're really banged up
right now. Okay, guys. I think it's really
important that if you're at the beach and you see
danger signs, you have to listen to them.
I really regret not listening
to those danger signs. We need to get
Grace back up to the house, Matt. Do you think you can carry
him? I'm going to call for help. We're going to get medical
Grace. But guys, we're going to have to catch you
guys on the next vlog. If you haven't missed anything
and want to see what happens next, make sure you
subscribe right now. We'll see you guys on the next
vlog.
