Houston weather: Continuing to monitor Isaias

A strong tropical storm in the Gulf is forecast to intensify into a Category 2 or 3 hurricane before making landfall along the Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida panhandle coasts by Friday night. While the storm will bring significant rain, flooding, and storm surges to the Southeast, no impacts are expected for Houston or Southeast Texas.
