So, water compensation is our effort to maintain, save, and use water wisely so that the water can be used well in the future, in the future. Then, what are the causes and factors? So, first, there is climate change. Because global warming in Indonesia causes more evaporation and change in rainfall patterns. Second, deforestation. It reduces the land's capacity to absorb and store water so that it can withstand the natural water cycle. Then, there are types of water. First, there is physical change. For example, evaporation, condensation, and accumulation. Second, there is chemical change. It's like water pollution that changes the chemical composition of water. Then, when does water compensation occur? So, in December last year, in 2024, Jakarta was flooded around Kancol. And that's because of the rainfall patterns. Then, it makes the water in those areas expand. So, many families are concerned about where to live around it. So, in addition to that, the exploitation of groundwater is also an advantage in Jakarta. So, it causes about 5 to 17 cubic meters of land decline per year. Then, the government has also made a statement about a water-free zone and land to reduce the use of groundwater and its impact on the environment. Then, what is the impact on the environment? We have to protect nature, reduce natural disasters, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. In order to do that, we have to do greening or regularization. This is an example of the picture.
