As the morning dawned, I heard the familiar call of a man trading bottles for maltose candies, sparking memories of childhood. Inspired, I decided to transform these maltose into something extraordinary – sugar paintings. Guided by my grandmother's cherished recipe, I meticulously crafted intricate designs of flowers and animals like butterflies, peacocks, and fish. Each stroke of color was a homage to tradition and a celebration of the simple joys that connect us to our past. As the day drew to a close, I savored the sweetness of the sugar paintings with a group of children. What a happy day!
