at 11 tonight. These two ex cons are accused of trying to cover up a car crash by picking up the
damaged parts before driving off. Flagler County deputies say the woman in the other car that they
hit was hurt. Thanks for joining us here for the late news at 11. I'm Luanne Sorrell. I'm Jack Royer.
We begin tonight with Fox 35's Manny Martinez who has more from Flagler County on how investigators
were able to track them both down. The woman who was crashed into gave such a good description that
deputies were able to quickly ID the pickup truck they were looking for. And with the help
of neighborhood surveillance video, investigators say they were able to find it parked in a garage
where they say it hadn't moved since the day of the crash morning show of force. Last Friday,
Flagler County deputies made two arrests outside this home in Palm Coast.
Investigators say the story begins in late August after a crash at this neighborhood intersection.
Deputies say Nina Holly was driving a silver pickup on a suspended license when she crashed
into another car. They say Matthew Green was her passenger and deputies say they both got
out of the truck not to exchange insurance but to instead pick up the damaged car parts
all before driving off. He turned what was likely going to be just a minor
three four points on your license into a felony arrest. Deputies say a tip led them to a home
less than a mile from the crash scene where they say neighborhood surveillance showed the suspects
parked the damaged truck in the garage and didn't move it again. We were able to track it fairly
quick to the house. We had to be able to prove who the driver was and we had to be able to prove
that the vehicle was in the garage to be able to get a search warrant. The woman in the other
car was left with lingering pain according to the report. Holly faces hit and run charges
while Green is charged as an accomplice. Deputies say both have lengthy criminal histories which
include felony convictions. Holly is posted bond and is now out of jail. Meanwhile
no bond for Green in Flagler County Manny Martinez Fox 35 News.
