Effortless & Elevated Natural Makeup Tutorial

Hello everyone and welcome back to my YouTube channel. I did not plan on filming this YouTube video I'm going to be completely honest. I literally have to put my phone up right now. I was going to film some TikTok short form videos but in like the long form video format but anyway I've decided I'm going to film a YouTube video on it. So today as you can see by the title I'm going to be doing some five minute light makeup. Is it going to take five minutes? Probably not but I'm going to try and just do some light makeup. Look someone actually commented on one of my most recent TikTok videos asking for this and I was just like let's do a long form video version. Like I literally was going to film it just like not talking but you know what we're going to talk. We're going to do some light makeup together so yeah let me know what you think of this filming format as well because I'm actually filming on my phone. Let me know what you think and let's get into the video. So I'm just starting off my base. I literally just got clean skin. I haven't put any skincare products on right now. I do sometimes like to do some skin prep before makeup but I'm not going to lie I'm being really lazy today and I don't want to do any skin prep. So I've just got clean skin and we're going to go straight in with foundation to start with. So to start off with I'm just going in with my Dior Beauty foundation stick. This is in shade 2.5 neutral. I have tried so many different foundations but honestly nothing compares to this. I love this Dior Beauty one. The way this just glides on my skin is like no other. It literally affects your skin. I love it but as you can see I'm literally just going to apply this all over my face and then I'm going to go ahead and blend this out and to blend this out I'm just going in with this fluffy brush. I think this is the first time I've ever really reached for a fluffy brush to actually blend in my foundation but I tried the other day and I absolutely loved it. I got given this makeup brush in PR. This is the MPH one by Mary Phillips. If you don't know who Mary Phillips is she's a really really talented makeup artist and I was lucky enough to actually receive some of the makeup products gifted as well as this makeup brush as well and I absolutely love the way it applied my foundation the other day. It literally blends your foundation so seamlessly especially blending this foundation with this brush is literal heaven. I'm just going to go ahead and just buff this all over my face. Like I said this is going to be a really really light natural makeup look. Very effortless but chic. We're gonna love this makeup look. I basically just want this to look like no makeup makeup but still put together and still just very effortless and elevated. That's what I want. This is going to be an effortless and elevated makeup look. I do actually have a few breakouts right now. I actually don't know what's causing it because I do take so much pride in my skincare but I think it honestly might just be stress or I don't know. I think it's stress related to be honest. So I'm just gonna go ahead and actually double up on my foundation over my blemishes because I have got quite a prominent one here. It actually really hurts when I touch it. However one thing I've actually been really loving at the moment. I actually put this on top of my blemishes. I do it overnight and I've actually been doing it in the day as well especially as I just love this product but I've actually been going in with the Dr. Sam's Flawless Neutralizing Gel and this is not an ad. Not sponsored. I've just been gifted it. I am so thankful to be able to be gifted this but this is absolutely incredible. I reckon honestly if I do run out of this I might even purchase my own one. I think it's stocked in Space NK. I'm not really too sure but like I said yeah this is Dr. Sam's Flawless Neutralizing Gel and I basically, oh I actually need to get in and actually blend on my foundation although it's gonna dry, but I've actually been putting this on top of my blemishes overnight and really does make them heal a lot quicker than if I just leave them. I don't know what's actually in it what it does but it literally works miracles so if you suffer with any blemishes maybe this would be a good product to try. I don't know if it's obviously good for everyone but I've been loving it and it might help you guys out as well. But anyway I think this is it for foundation. Next I'm going to go in with some bronzer. I'm trying to think what bronzer I actually want to I feel like my go-to makeup, I absolutely just love Dior Beauty. I have not found a single product which I don't like. Genuinely every product from that is incredible but obviously I can understand it's a very luxury brand and obviously a lot more higher end and a lot more expensive basically than other makeup. If you guys would like it let me know and I will try and do a drugstore makeup video. As I do understand obviously it's not very realistic to have a whole makeup routine look being Dior and I'm going to try and not do it all Dior today but I just can't help I just do whatever. Next up is bronzer and I'm going to be going in with my Rode bronzer. If you have not tried one of the Rode bronzers please try and get your hands on them. I think this is honestly my go-to bronzer now for every single makeup look I want to do. I have the shade Sip so I do a line like this on each side. I look so pale but I'm trying this winter I don't know if I'm gonna stick to it I'm gonna try and not wear fake tan because I noticed every time I wore fake tan especially not necessarily on my body but when I used to put fake tan on my face I really noticed my skin breaking out loads. Obviously if there's any face fake tan serums maybe I'll try that but I'm gonna try and not wear fake tan and just try and embrace a natural pale look but am I gonna stick to that I'm not too sure to be honest. Anyway here is the places I've applied my bronzer. I'm gonna go ahead and blend this out now and I'm actually gonna be going in with this Sculpted by Amy soft sculpt brush. I haven't actually tried this out yet so this is gonna be little first impressions. I'm basically just gonna blend this upwards on my face. This bronzer blends so quickly which is another reason why I absolutely love it because I don't like spending loads of time on my makeup anymore but I love quick effortless makeup which just makes you look good and feel good because I think I'm not sure I think there's a lady on TikTok I think is it Farron Clark and yeah she's made this whole movement about if you look good you feel good then your day is just gonna go better. I say the day is gonna go better I don't know what it is with me as well I don't know if anyone else who's watching this is a content creator or I feel like I even did this even before I used to make content anyway but I love doing my makeup at night time it's like even if I have nowhere to go I absolutely just love doing my makeup or if I'm filming content ads I just for some reason I just like doing it at night time I feel like I'm just so much more creative I don't know what it is I don't know if you're a creative person and you always get your I don't know spurs of creativity at night time let me know because I feel like this is a very universal thing anyway I thought this is taking me a very long time to blend out and I've been filming now for like six minutes straight whereas realistically this is meant to be like a five minute effortless makeup look when I'm filming it time just literally just goes away with me go ahead and blend this out up here as well this is what my base makeup is looking like so far anyway next up is blush I'm going to be if you're able to get your hands on refi's water range even the bronzers and the blush it's genuinely sensational you're gonna have to ignore I really need to clean my makeup brushes being so realistic I've had this makeup brush for about is that bad probably but do I care no I don't care I really should take more care of my skin so if this is you please clean your makeup brushes I'm just gonna go ahead and literally just blend this out on top of the apple of my cheek I honestly think this is like the perfect color for me like look at the way that's melted into my skin and again Arisha's doing the same to the other side you don't even need to do that much blending this is what this I feel like this is the quickest step of this makeup look but also is the most influential I guess to this makeup look because it literally blends out so quickly I sometimes do like to put a little bit of blush above my eyebrows as well I kind of just the excess what's on the brush anyway this is the blush all blended out literally love this guys I feel like if you have to get any of these makeup products we're going to change your makeup this refi blush is so worth it I used to be such a blush hater like I was so hesitant to actually wear blush I wouldn't wear any at all but now I found one which is the perfect shade I don't know if I mentioned this this is the shade apricot and yeah stunning let's get on and do some concealer and for concealer I'm just going to go in with my do your beauty forever skin correct concealer this works so well in combination with the foundation as you can see I'm just doing a little dot under my eye and then actually at the end I find that whenever I do a little line of concealer at the end it really helps to lift my face and then I'm just going to do a few dots on my forehead and then under my nose thank you so much to whoever commented I can't remember who it was but I was speaking about the redness around my nose in one of my previous videos and one of you mentioned that it could be like my hormones maybe this could be I really don't know maybe I should get something checked I'm just going to put a little dot of concealer on my chin as well I don't know why I always do this I find it does something I don't know what it does but I feel like it does something and I like to do a little dot either side of my face and I'm just going to go ahead and blend this out but when I blend this out I think this is quite a new step for me as well I actually blend out with my finger and that is a bit too much a little bit off and then blend it in I found that blending with my finger really helps the makeup to melt into the skin I find it helps to warm it up a bit more and it just looks so much more like skin because for the longest time I was such a full-grown girlie you can actually see back to my makeup videos last year but I really do want to focus on looking the best you can like in your natural self if you know what I mean maybe it will change going into winter and I'll start wearing a bit more makeup but for the moment I really just been liking wearing more natural makeup I feel more like me I feel like I look more youthful because I feel like wearing makeup makes you look so much older as well obviously I'm not against wearing loads of makeup but this is actually just my opinion on what looks good on me as we were talking I actually blended that out really quickly I might actually put a little bit just on top of my eyes as well because I've actually got quite a bit of redness on top of my eyes so I'm going to do a little dot and then literally again blend this out with my finger I'm going to try and angle it towards the inner part of my eye I really did not plan on posting this youtube video today but you know what when you get the burst of motivation and inspiration you've just got to take it and go with it I'm now thinking do my eyes look a little bit too white I don't know I feel like once I've got mascara on hopefully it'll look a little bit better but yeah for the base honestly I feel like this is it done and I am next going to go in with powder but I'm actually going to go in with a dual beauty powder again I feel like this trio works so well with the foundation the concealer and then the powder I feel like you're going to have a flawless base or whatever just looks good on everyone I'm just going to take my Charlotte Tilbury powder puff and just collect a little bit of powder on the back of it and then I'm just going to lightly pat under my eyes or just go over anywhere where where it looks a little bit too oily or oh my god do I blend this out yeah I'm just going to blend out anywhere where I just got a little bit of oiliness or just maybe just work with the concealer really particularly under the eyes and a little bit on the forehead and then just on the side of my cheeks as well and then I'm just going to go next in and curl my lashes I'm actually going to go in with this Shiseido lash curler this is honestly the most incredible because like I said incredible so much I need to expand my vocabulary but this lash curler is it's just absolutely amazing just look at my lashes they literally went from that to that just from a lash curler obviously I have been using a lash serum at the moment like every night as well obviously it's just the combination of this lash curler and the lash serum I've been using if anyone's wondering the lash serum I use is the one by Sweet Beauty it actually looks like this I'm going to try and link it for you guys if I can in the YouTube video it might be at the little shopping bit at the side my phone did just die mid filming so I don't actually know what I was just mentioning my phone's now charged to eight percent so let's see how long this is going to last let's see if it can actually last us doing the rest of the makeup look but now we can get in and do the brows again I'm going in with Dior Beauty honestly I just love Dior Beauty so much but I'm going in with their brow styler I did actually pluck my brows earlier on today and I think I've actually got quite a good shape now my brows have got so much thicker again I've actually been using the Sweet Beauty lash serum on my brows I don't know if they actually have brow serum but honestly their lash serum works so good so I love using it on my lashes and my brows but I'm just going to go in with the shade I think this is dark brown I'm just going to fill in the sparse areas honestly nothing too crazy literally just lightly going over my brows just to give it a little bit more definition and literally just thicken it up just a little bit more like sometimes I look back at old YouTube videos where I'm looking at my brows and my brows are so thin like so thin obviously some thin brows look really good but I feel like with the makeup looks I want to do now I need the thick brows and then just before I go in with mascara I'm just literally just going to tightline my eye I don't know what tightlining is it's basically just putting an eyeliner pencil just in your upper crease of your eye I mean you can do it on the bottom lash line as well but personally I just like to do it at the top sort of like end to mid section I really find this helps to just really open up the eye I do um applying it but this really makes such a difference when you apply your mascara and for mascara I'm just going to go in with the Prada beauty mascara this is the Prada scope Prada beauty mascara and this lengthens your lashes but it's also making them so much more thicker and fuller and just make your lashes look like false lashes that's literally how I can explain it that's actually crazy I will obviously try and link everything I can on these youtube videos I don't know if I can link this part of using mascara but I'm gonna try and link everything it makes me feel like I've got fake lashes on and I actually have not worn fake lashes in the longest time obviously with all my old makeup looks I always used to wear fake lashes but I just really want to try and embrace you know your natural beauty everyone is possible of embracing their natural beauty like you don't don't feel like you have to wear a full face of makeup all the time yeah this is mascara all done my lashes feel so thick I'm so full finally we can move on to lips so for my lips I'm just going to go in with the refoad refoad the road peptide lip liner road make the most perfect peptide lip liners like I feel like your lips look so much more plump when you overline them I'm actually going in with the shade called lean the most perfect color it's like overlining your lips but they're better as you can see the bottom one is done it literally just emphasizes your lip shape one thing I also love about these road lip liners is they actually have like a little blending tool on the bottom so what I like to do is actually outline the top and the bottom and then you just blend this in with this I'm now just going to go in with a few more finishing touches with the first one being fake freckles because I absolutely love these again I feel like this really just helps to elevate your makeup look I feel like with fake freckles it really helps to draw the attention to the center of the face I'm just going to give that more youthful look I really need to get a new fake freckle pen because I think this one's running out I was actually using the P Louise on your marks freckle pen I'm just going to be going in now with the Dior beauty highlight stick I'm just going to apply this literally just as a cream highlighter sort of on top of where we applied a blush on the cheeks and then I just like to do it on the tip of my nose and then on the bridge of my nose and again on the other side and then I also just like to apply this underneath my eyebrow as well really getting into that brow bone and then again just bending with my finger on both sides yeah I think that honestly might be it for the makeup and then just to set my face I'm going to go in again with the Dior beauty I this was not intentional this is literally just my favorite makeup products I love using for you guys I'm just going to go in and set my face and wait this is the makeup all obviously I like filming on my camera and when I can film on my camera I will but I'm not gonna lie I just had the spur of motivation that I went to a YouTube video and all my camera batteries are
