Welcome to Jessi's Nail Salon, or your salon,
because I'm going to show you how to get the cutest nails by yourself.
I present to you, Smarty Pants!
Ta-da! This is my press-on collection with Nail Reformation.
So the inspiration behind Smarty Pants is I wanted
to dedicate this to the girls who feel like the only way
to get things done perfectly is to do it yourself.
That's like the entire reason why I started doing my own nails,
is because I wanted to have full creative freedom.
So today I'm going to talk a little bit about the collection,
and then I'm also going to show you how to apply
these to get them to last as long as possible.
Because if you haven't tried Nail Reformation nails,
they last just as long as gel extensions for me
But you do need to know how to apply them properly. So let's start
Okay. So first up we have Control Freak which is one of my favorites.
It's the one I'm wearing right now
I actually hand painted this originally and it took me five hours
to do so now whenever I wear these I can look down
At my nails and be like wow
This would have taken me five hours
to do and now it only takes me 20 minutes next up
We have Black Cat. I often get told that I have a black cat personality
So that was the inspiration behind this and then I
also wanted a darker like lacy design
honestly i'm really bad at using nail stamps like i tried
to do lace nails before and they just never
turn out right so i was like since this is above
my skill set maybe i can ask Nail Reformation to
make it for me so that i don't have to do it myself
so now whenever i want black lace nails
i can just wear these then we have Sweet Treat
which i love sweets this one's inspired by the
very berry trolley gummy worms purple pink
and blue and then there's a cat eye in the center
which gives that like sugary sparkly effect didn't ask
is actually purely out of selfish reasons i
I created this one. This is my go-to nail design
whenever I don't know what to do with my nails
It's just a simple blushing aura nail with a cat eye french tip just
so pretty simple and sparkly
And it's a design i've done so many times
So I was like why do I keep on having
to spend like three hours on this?
I might as well make press-ons and then I can just wear them
whenever I want and then we have Goody Two Shoes when I
was brainstorming for this collection
my friend Crystal told me like you should do something inspired
by your red heels because I feel like when I think of those
I think of you. So thank you Crystal
because now we have Goody Two Shoes, which is so cute.
Next we have Buttoned Up
I started collecting buttons about three years ago,
so I wanted to do a cute button design next
We have Jaded which is inspired by my jade necklace that I wear everywhere
If you didn't know jade is usually something
that you gift people to protect them
So I wanted to create this as a gift to you guys
And then finally we have Sew It All which is a play on know it all
This one is actually inspired by one
of my favorite Barbie movies Princess and the Pauper.
It's just a really pretty girly lacy set
Next, let's talk application. I'm applying the style Black Cat.
Each set comes with everything you need, including your 30 nails,
instructions, these are the extra nails to make sure you get
the perfect size, a cuticle trimmer, mini nail file and buffer,
cuticle pusher, alcohol pad, nail glue, and cuticle oil.
Start by prepping your nails with the alcohol pad.
This helps completely dry out your nails
so the press-ons can grip onto them better.
Continue prepping the nails by pushing back your cuticles.
You can also use the cuticle trimmer if you need,
but I usually don't find it super necessary.
Next, I'm buffing the nails using
the 2-in-1 nail file and buffer.
Use the alcohol pad again
to wipe away all the dust.
And now, it's time to measure the nails.
You want to make sure the press-ons cover
your entire nail without being too big or
leaving any gaps.
There was a slight gap for my thumbnail,
so I selected a different size from the included
bag.
Next, apply your glue.
We're going to apply this to both
the press-on and your natural nail, and then wait 5 seconds
for the glue to tack before applying the press-on.
This creates a super strong adhesive layer
that keeps your nails lasting for as long
as possible.
When you apply the press on, put it gently
on your natural nail and make sure it's angled
in the right direction before fully pressing it in.
Once you fully press it in, it's not moving.
This glue is really strong,
so you want to make sure
everything looks perfect first.
This step is optional of course,
but you can apply a top coat to protect the design and
keep your nails looking newly done.
Finally, apply the cuticle oil and that's it!
Now for the
durability test.
My fingers hurt after this, but as you can see, there's no lifting.
I do have to say, Black Cat is definitely, probably my favorite.
just so pretty like the stripes the lace
the bows what more could you want in a set and that's
smarty pants wait i almost forgot to mention i designed
this bag yeah they let me make a merch
bag which was so cool so i created these like pants design
and then you can also stick one of
the nails in the pocket isn't
that so cute it says Jessie Luxe heart nail reformation here this is
the front i just love when brands give me full
creative freedom i hope you guys love this

these nails for a really long time so if you want to
