The Bible teaches us that the perfect will of God is health and healing for every person on this
planet. You know, God is not selective about that. He doesn't have a will for some to be healed and
some to be sick. God's will and His plan is that everybody on this planet be healthy and strong.
But we all know this, we all know that most are not healthy and most do not receive healing when
they need it. Now, we have to understand this, that we're living in a fallen world,
and it's governed by Satan, who is the enemy of God. And really, he's the enemy of mankind.
And the Bible tells us in 2 Corinthians chapter 4 and verse 4 that he's the God of this world
system. So he will take what God loves and he will do everything in his power to interrupt the plan
and the will of God for humanity. You know, he seeks to disrupt God's will and the Bible makes
that clear in John chapter 10 and verse 10. It says the thief does not come except for to steal
and to kill and to destroy. But Jesus said, I have come that they may have life and that they may have
it more abundantly. So we know this, that Satan has legally been defeated by Jesus. Jesus whipped
him. He paid the price for us to be well. But we also know this, that he operates illegal on this
earth. You say, well, how is that possible? Well, let me give you this example. There are many people
in this country and worldwide that will commit murder. They're renegades. They'll go about,
you know, stealing from people and killing people and murdering. But we know this, that it's against
the law in the U.S., but it's still happening anyway. So in order to stop that illegal activity,
somebody has to enforce the laws. Well, in the same way the kingdom of God operates like this,
God needs somebody with authority to enforce Satan's defeat because he is loose. You know,
there's another scripture that says that he roams about as a roaring lion seeking whom he may
devour. Well, that word may, whom he may devour, tells us that he cannot necessarily devour
everybody. It's contingent on who's allowing him to. And so there are people that are authorized
in this earth to enforce his defeat. You know, not just anybody can. You have to be a child of God.
You have to have the Holy Spirit living on the inside of you because there is no human strength.
There's no amount of human strength that can resist the devil or defeat the devil on earth.
But the power of the Holy Spirit in those of us that have his presence,
we're authorized and we have the ability to enforce his defeat. You know, we see an example
of this in the New Testament where the seven sons of Sceva attempted to cast demons out of
a particular man. And when they did this, they said, in the name of Jesus, whom Paul preaches.
Well, they didn't have the Holy Spirit. And so that one man jumped on them and beat them all up
and overtook them. And he said, Paul, I know, Jesus, I know, but who are you? So you see,
the devil is not obligated to listen to anybody who doesn't have the power of the Holy Spirit.
But for those of us that have the Holy Spirit in us, we are authorized people on this planet to
enforce his defeat. And let me just take this a step further. When it comes to your health,
you are the main person who's authorized to enforce Satan's defeat in your body.
Now, you know, you could believe the word of God on the subject of healing.
You could even believe that you receive your healing. But after those things take place,
you have to learn how to stand your ground for your healing. You know, the devil does not,
I say this often, but the devil does not give anybody a free pass. He's still looking to
deceive us into giving up the healing that Jesus already paid the price for us to have.
Now we see this in James chapter four and verse seven. I'm going to read this from the
amplified translation. It says, so be subject to God, resist the devil, stand firm against him,
and he will flee from you. So we have to see this, that we have a place in this situation.
We can't just sit back passively and think that the devil is just going to let us enjoy
health and healing without a fight. Now we have to understand this also that resisting the devil
requires our faith. You know, the Bible makes it clear that there's a fight to fight.
In first Timothy chapter six and verse 12, rather, it says fight the good fight of faith.
So we see that there's a fight to faith. Now, some people have thought I'm fighting the devil.
I'm fighting sickness and disease. I'm fighting this. I'm fighting that. Do you know the only
kind of fight the Christians call to fight is the good fight of faith? And it's a good fight because
if you're fighting it properly, you will win. You know, nobody really has to fight the devil.
Nobody has to fight sickness and disease because Jesus already fought those and he defeated them
completely. So you may be wondering, well, if I'm not fighting the devil, if I'm not fighting
sickness, what am I fighting? You know, so often you've probably heard this in Christian circles,
people will say, well, I couldn't come to church today or I couldn't go to work today because I'm
fighting symptoms. And I think that we have adopted to some extent what we would call
Christian lingo, where we say these things in an attempt to sound like we're standing in faith.
But the real truth of the matter is we're not supposed to fight symptoms. What we're fighting
is doubt and unbelief. That's what we're fighting. We're fighting to stay in faith about our healing
or really anything else the word of God promises us. You know, God always tells us the truth and
the devil always wants to tell us lies. And the devil has access to our minds, not our spirits,
and God has access to our spirit. But for example, we have a clear word of God in 1 Peter 2 24 that
says, by whose stripes you were healed. Well, that's the truth. We know that's the truth because
God cannot lie. But yet our bodies and the devil will continually try to sway us into doubt and
unbelief about that scripture or about that truth. And the way the devil tries to sway us into that
is through symptoms of pain, symptoms of disease, maybe even just a diagnosis from a doctor that
you didn't even know you had that thing because you didn't feel it. But when you went for a routine
checkup, they found something. Well, no matter what comes against you, you have to stand your
ground against that knowing that God's word will trump the symptoms, will trump the diagnosis,
will trump whatever Satan is saying against you. This is where the fight begins, the fight of faith.
We have to learn to stand our ground in the face of contradictory symptoms and circumstances and
really in the face of Satan's believable lies. You know, if Satan comes to lie to you and it's not
believable, you won't take it. So a lot of what he says has an element of truth in it, but we
have to learn how to rightly divide what's of the devil and what's of God. And really, the more time
you spend reading your Bible and meditating in the word of God, the more you recognize when he's
lying to you. Now, fighting the good fight of faith for healing requires certain steps. I'm going to
give you four steps today. I like steps. It helps us to remember. And I'm going to start out reading
a scripture before I give you the first two. In Joshua chapter one in verse eight, it says,
But you shall meditate in it day and night that you may observe to do according to all that is
written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous and then you will have good success.
I want you to know this good success or this prosperity is not just financial. You know,
if you can live in health, that's prosperous. That's having good success. So we get our first
two steps from this passage of scripture. The first step to fighting the good fight of faith
is meditate upon the word of God daily. You know, we need to find one or two good healing scriptures
that really speak to our hearts. And then we meditate upon them not just once in a while,
but day and night. And you know, you have to see to it that you make time for this.
You know, if you're not serious about receiving healing God's way, you're not going to make time
for this. But if you're serious about this, and I'm telling you these principles work,
if you'll get diligent about them. If you're serious about it, you're going to find time
to meditate day and night on what God says about your healing. Now that word meditate,
some people have thought, you know, maybe because they've seen Eastern meditation religions that you
just sit there and hum and stare at a focal point. But I want to clarify that meditation from the
word of God simply means to ponder or to mutter out loud. So you can't just intensely think about
a scripture, you have to actually say it out of your mouth in order to properly meditate. And so
you want to say those scriptures out loud throughout the day, putting yourself into
those scriptures and putting them into you. In other words, see yourself. You keep meditating
until you see yourself in that scripture and that scripture working in your life.
And then the second step is this, act like the word of God is true. You know, according to Joshua
one chapter, chapter one in verse eight, which we just read, the purpose of meditation is so that
we will observe to do it, we'll observe to do that particular scripture. So we have to do what the
word says regarding our healing. Now, in order to be moved to action, we have to ask ourselves,
what is it that I can do right now that is an action of faith that says, I believe this is
working in me? Maybe if it's a limb that you couldn't move, attempt to move it. Maybe if every
time you bend over, you have pain in a particular joint, you can develop a bad habit of never
bending because you're automatically thinking it's going to hurt. So you have to start changing that
habit and start believing that when I bend over, it's not going to hurt. So you attempt to bend
over and you should be speaking the word while you're doing it. What you need to do is go as
far as you can with your faith, act as far as you can. And one of the greatest acts of faith that
we can carry out is the act of saying what God says, the act of agreeing with God about our
situation. Now, before we talk about the next two steps, I want to read from Romans chapter four,
verses 19 through 21. This is not being weak in faith. He did not, now this is talking about
Abraham. He did not consider his own body already dead since he was about a hundred years old and
the deadness of Sarah's womb. He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but he was
strengthened in faith, giving glory to God and being fully convinced that what God had promised,
he was able also to perform. So the third step to fighting the good fight of faith is refuse to
allow contradictory circumstances to distract your stance of faith. Or we could say it this way,
refuse to waver. You know, wavering is moving this way and then moving that way, like the waves of
the sea tossed to and fro. One minute you believe you're healed, the next minute you're doubting it.
You know, faith really, let me make this simple for you. Faith comes by hearing the word of God,
but faith is not released by hearing. Faith is released by saying, but saying requires a decision.
I like to say it this way, you can decide if you're going to use your faith or not.
You could have faith, but it's your decision whether or not you use it. And one of the ways
we use it is we refuse to waver. We refuse to say one thing one minute and then a completely
opposite thing the next minute. We make the decision that we're going to hold fast to what
God says about our health and healing, regardless of what we see or feel. So we're not to consider
our bodies more than we consider what God says. Certainly we consider it to an extent. You know,
we're not teaching you to be irresponsible about your health or seeing a doctor or getting medical
treatment. But what we're saying is you consider what God says is a higher source than what your
body is saying or the devil is saying. So that third step is important, refusing to waver.
And then the fourth thing is we want to praise God and give him glory, just like Abraham did,
because we are healed. You see, Abraham gave glory to God because he believed that he was
going to have a son before Sarah ever conceived. And we have to give glory to God because we
believe we're healed before we ever feel a change, before the doctor tells us it's changed.
We start to give glory to God and praise him in the midst of those contrary circumstances.
So we can see now why many are not walking in this divine health that God wants everybody to have,
because many have not fought this thing we call the good fight of faith.
And I want to encourage you today, be one of those who does engage in the good fight of faith,
because this fight always wins in the end. And God wants you well. Now, I also want to mention
to those of you that are watching that we have been receiving your emails with your prayer
requests and your testimonies. And I've noticed a trend that there is a high percentage of people
watching that are in the fourth stages of cancer. And I just want to let you know, we pray over
every one of those prayer requests. And even now, I want you to stretch your hand toward the camera
and allow me to pray for you right now as we close. Father, I pray for those watching today,
especially those that are in a desperate situation that requires a miracle in their bodies.
Father, we know that healing is the children's bread. It is the will of God for every person.
And so we curse that cancer at the root. We command it to wither and die and disintegrate.
And we release the healing power of God by faith into their bodies,
from the top of their heads to the soles of their feet. And Lord, we also pray for strength,
that they would continue to fight the good fight of faith and stand their ground,
that they would not waver or give in to the devil's lies or the symptoms in their body that
are screaming so loudly. But Lord, they would learn to praise you and worship you in the midst
of the storm and allow your healing power to flow into them and make them every bit whole.
We thank you, Father, in Jesus' name. Now, if you receive that prayer today and you end up
receiving a doctor's report that validates that you're healed, please write to us and let us know.
That encourages us so much to hear those things. And we want you to know that we're going to
continue to stand with you every bit of the way. We'll praise God. If you were encouraged today,
we encourage you to like, share, and subscribe to our channel. And until next time, I want to
let you know that God has a plan for your life, and it's so much bigger than you know. God bless you.
