Hey guys, it's April and today I'm going to show you how to create a simple glow-in-the-dark
vinyl skirt. Here are the materials you will need. To get started, I draw out my circle skirt pattern.
To make your own, measure your waist or where you want the skirt to sit
and then find your measurement on the circle skirt chart. Since my waist is 24 inches,
I'll be making the radius of my inner circle 3 3 4 of an inch.
Once the pattern is cut out, put the vinyl on fold and cut out the circle skirt.
Next, cut down one side of the circle skirt. To close up the side, I decided to go with velcro
to keep it simple and easy to remove. Cut the velcro to fit the side of the skirt and then
you can either sew it down like me or glue it down with some E6000 glue. Now for the fun part.
Take some glow-in-the-dark duct tape stars and stick them all over your skirt. Lastly,
I'm going to outline the top and bottom of the skirt with some glow-in-the-dark duct tape.
This will make the skirt stand out even more in the dark. The duct tape was a little difficult
to use around the circle skirt, so if you want an alternative, try using some glow-in-the-dark paint.
Here's what the final costume looks like in the dark. I wore it to my cousin's neon glow birthday
party. Thank you guys so much for watching. If you want to see more tutorials like this,
