Dallas Flash Better Without Tyra?!

All right. It's time for the 1v1 Brooklyn against Dallas. Winner getting 25 standings points. So we'll jump into game one. It's 3-3. Dallas looking to take the lead. Townsend getting aggressive and going off. 5-3 now. Townsend takes a drive. Strong. Drops. Trying to attack. Townsend. Getting big. Oh, and bags Kawamoto. Jackie is not happy about that. Dallas crushing it. They're up 9-4 here. Drop from Strong. They're attacking. And that lands in from Townsend. It's a game point for Dallas. Strong goes middle. Goes down the line. And speeds up. And Townsend finishes. 11-4 is our score. Dallas out in front. Game two. Brooklyn has the lead, 4-2. Brooklyn working their way up to the kitchen. Augie speeds up off the net, and oh no, he pays the price. Catches it. Very next point, 5-2 now. Drop from Alshon. Riley comes crashing in, and it's a winner. He's so pumped. Smacks the paddle away from Alshon. Alshon's like, what the heck, man? Why you got to do that? Watch this again. Smack. We'll be right back. . So game point for Brooklyn on 10-7. . . We're dinking. Augie speeds up, but that's long. Alshon. What do you guys think about that? Wasn't that cool how I let it go? Game three. We're tied up at five. Brooklyn looking to take the lead. Nice drive from Alshon. Drops the next one. And then poaches through the middle. I don't know. I mean, he's such a great player. And, you know, most of the Brooklyn team I want to root for. But this is just so cringy to me. Let's go, everybody. Come on. Cheer for me. 9-6 now. Brooklyn looking to get it to a game point. J-Dub, backhand flick, runs over, gets that one. Oh, what a shot! Alshon defends it, though. J-Dub on the right side. We're dinking again. Christian misses that shot! It's a 9-6 again for Brooklyn. Drop from Rachel. J-Dub keeping them back. Brooke almost gives up a poach to Christian Alshon. Goes back door. At the kitchen. Dinking off the net. ATP for Rachel Rohrbacher! Gets it to game point. And so on game point, the drop from Rachel. Alshon comes in and takes it. So Brooklyn up two games to one. So game four, Dallas absolutely destroying Brooklyn. Brooklyn trying to put more than a point on the board, but it's not going to be easy. Look at Augie and Townsend holding it down. Flicked that one in there, sped up. Oh my gosh, great get from Kawamoto. The lob up, that lands in. The drop volley. Townsend's there. We're still going. Augie on the opposite side. Drop in again. We're dinking. The speed up. Hands battle. Townsend butts it through the middle. And so Dallas is going to win game four, 11-2, which means that we are heading. To a dream breaker. So we'll start off. Chris Hayworth, the number one singles player against J.W. Johnson, who's been very clutch lately. J.W. at the kitchen. Too easy for him. J.W. had a clean sweep on Chris Hayworth that first go around. Here we are in the second rotation. It's 11-5 for Dallas. J.W. moving him everywhere. And then a nice easy shot that he can't get to. And so we end up at match point on 20-10. This thing was a blowout. Townsend hits that right on the line. Overhead, Jackie, scrambling. And Dallas, for the second weekend in a row, is going to win. I mean, this was crazy that it wasn't even close. J.W. Johnson went 7-1 against Chris Hayworth. That is unbelievably clutch. Also, Brooke Buckner going 5-3 against Hannah Blatt. Helped out a ton, too, so I'll tell you what. After Dallas Flash got zero points in a weekend, I would have thought that you were joking if you told me they would win two weekends in a row. This is like a fun team, too. Very hard to root against. All right, well, let's look at our standings now. This was the Dallas Flash's last event. They're sitting at the four spot, but L.A. and Brooklyn still have one more event. A lot of wiggle room in this 11 through 15 area. California, Chicago, Las Vegas, Orlando, Miami, all going to be fighting for that last playoff spot. So MLP Orlando is going to be insane.
