Cristiano Ronaldo Shows Neymar & Mbappe Who is The Boss

Benzema didn't make the most of it. Here's Ronaldo, across the face. Real Madrid have started the night in rocking mood. Marcelo, positive run from Marcelo, returned to him by Benzema. Marcelo nearly went off. Marcelo getting forward again. It's go to Toni Kroos and Kroos gets his shot in. It was saved by Areola but with some difficulty. They just weren't ready for the corner taken quickly. Toni Kroos gets it onto his... It's Pachice again. Maybe the better option was to pick out Cavani. Cavani certainly making that point. Pretty certain the fullback was going for goal. Look at Cavani's reaction. Neymar... Elvis. There's Neymar. Varane says handball. A first instinct is what... Verratti was just sold short there. And Isco came in to win it. And Isco is then forced to the floor just outside the box. Card's out. Petition for Real Madrid. And here's Ronaldo's first big chance of the night. And he gets it up. He gets it over but it wouldn't come down again. Well, he went to that far side because he knew he couldn't get it up and down quickly enough by going into the near... Okay, Verratti, he won the ball. Here's Neymar. Slaloming past the challenges. He might have outdone himself in the end. There's Marcelo. He's looking for Ronaldo. Ariadna's backpedalling. And he's taken a whack from Ronaldo. He's making the block. Does he make the save with his face? That's the way the goalkeeper... What a... If he goes again. Neymar just scuffed the shot in the end. Cavani suggests a different option next time. But when he gets in full flight, his balance is just something... Drenzic for now. Sergio Ramos with the leap. Pretty routinely. But he's so dangerous in the air. Hits the Real Madrid. See him. Here's Pichice doing Neymar. Jürgen Pichice to the left. Neymar uses Cavani. It's blocked and it's behind and it's a corner. Well, it's a problem down this near side for Real Madrid. You can't allow Pichice so much room. They're going to have to change their shape at half-time. 2 v 1. Natric to have another go at delivering. Gee, it seems to be making a pig's ear out of clearing that at least. Well, I talked about Nacho. It's a prize in European club football. Yes. Marcelo. Ronaldo wants it. There's Benzema. Nearly a brilliant finish. Zinedine Zidane walks away. And PSG players. Cristiano Ronaldo on the spot. And scores from the spot. Paris Saint-Germain won. CR7 strikes again. The goalkeeper chooses the right way. But he hit it with such power. It's in for the run of Neymar, who's timed it to perfection. And he tees up Kylian Mbappé, who takes a touch and down went Navas with a really important save for Real Madrid. It's the first real sight of tonight that Mbappé. Dani Alves. It's a wonderfully weighted ball. They're waiting in the middle. Alves. And then striking it was Rabiot. Vital block in there by Sergio Ramos. Dani Alves says here for Real Madrid. Isco. Ronaldo looking to make some space. Maradona down quickly. Had to keep a hold of it. It was really close to the 18 yards. Can it be a Ronaldo special? It hits the wall and it brings the corner. Sergio Ramos was there. Kimpembe keeps it alive. Lo Celso with the shot. And when they get in wide positions, Paris Saint-Germain. There's not really anybody to cross it to. Referees took one there. Felt that, didn't he? The referee. Might want to stop the game here and just check he's okay because that certainly rattled the referee. Got him right on the side of the head. Across the two centre-backs. It's been able to travel a long way. Kimpembe got his shot blocked in there. Desperate defending there from Real Madrid. And then Isco. Here's Neymar. Certainly provide the answer to that. And then Di Cicci. And Dani Alves couldn't get there. Well, he's popped up from the right-hand side. Gets right across, doesn't he? Into that near post. Bale's on the run. Superbly found. And then not a down to Ronaldo. Arquinhos got the block on. They worked that really nicely, Real Madrid. They did. It was a beautiful ball, wasn't it? From Modric. Bale prepared to run in behind. Look, he's outside there. Stays onside. Beautiful little ball. And we can get ourselves a goal here and take a lead across to Paris. But I just feel if anyone's going to score... Asensio's doing Ronaldo in the middle. Bale on his way in the box as well. It's into Gareth Bale. Who tees it up. And it was Kimpembe. The surprise inclusion tonight at the expense of Thiago Silva with important defending for Paris Saint-Germain. Again, you see Gareth Bale may prepare to make that... PSG on the back foot. Marco Asensio. Sends it right away through. He's got it! No strike for the Champions League again. Real Madrid 2, Paris Saint-Germain 1. He's done it again. Ronaldo gets in that penalty. A bit fortuitous there though. But you've got to say Asensio was brilliant on this left-hand side here. Getting down in behind. Marcelo. Now Asensio. Ronaldo hovering in the middle. Pulled back. Paris Saint-Germain 1. That's what you get when you get quality players. And I've got to say Asensio has come in on that left-hand side and been fantastic. He's got in behind Paris. He's put balls into the box. What a good finish this is. Kylian Mbappé. Rafa Ferran there. Mbappé's got in. Can he find the finish? Mbappé! Keylor Navas with a save. The angle was tight. I think Dani Alves was hoping to be teed up there. Yeah, he's having words with him now. He gets in that channel there and he is rather wide on his left. Now Cristiano Ronaldo. Vasquez in the middle. Kroos is up there as well. Ronaldo wants the hat-trick. And Ario... Munier's got into the box as well. Draxler's crossed! Neymar! Oh, there's the full-time whistle, Glenn. And it's been a fantastic display of Champions League football by Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain. It's disappointment for Unai Emery but delight for Zinedine Zidane. And another night that they will talk about for a long, long time where Cristiano Ronaldo was the Real Madrid match winner. A penalty on the stroke of half-time and a tap-in late on. The misery for Neymar compounded by the goal scored by Marcelo. Areola congratulated by Cristiano Ronaldo. Some big saves tonight from the Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper. The PSG goal...
