Crane collapse in downtown Miami damages vehicles, injures workers

A wild scene playing out in the streets near downtown Miami this morning. A crane collapsed, falling into the street and hitting a car with a woman still inside. Firefighters say the crane hit at least three different cars, including an SUV that then burst into flames. Officials say the woman was driving the SUV at the time she was able to escape. The crane operator jumped out of the crane as it was tipping over. Just incredible images here. Two construction workers were trapped in all this. The crane had fallen on top of a construction box where there was a 27 and 29-year-old construction worker trapped inside. It was a very complex scene with a fire that was occurring. Our crews were putting out the fire and our technical rescue team working simultaneously to cut through the connex box. Complex sounds like an understatement even. No one was in those parked cars. Now OSHA is investigating the collapse, but right now we don't know what may have caused it.
