Country Singer Dave McElroy on signs from God

Well, I can't not listen to the Lord. So I started writing songs. I wrote about 20 songs in two weeks. Um, they were just pouring out of me. I recorded two of them and, uh, I sold my company and went into this full bar. So I didn't sell it right away. I took some time to sell it, but you know, but, um, yeah, I just, uh, from the moment, from the time I said, yes, the Lord, a month later, I recorded, or three weeks later, I recorded two demos a week later, I was sitting in the studio of one of the biggest producers in country music, and that's a longer backstory on that, and it's just like, it was such an amazing God thing, and there was always people trying to get into the center of the inner circle of Nashville and the Lord basically dropped me right into the center of it and six months later, I had my first top 40 single. So scary for you though, to have a business that you had sort of become comfortable with to go out and do something that is, as you mentioned, really hard to break into country. Nashville is a very closed city when it comes to music.
