What's up everybody?
Back here at Weld Tech Designs,
hanging out in a blistering hot day.
It's way too hot.
We shouldn't even be out here.
We should be out at the lake.
What do you think, Kaden?
Should we be out at the lake?
No, we should be racing.
Oh, we should be racing,
because that's not hot enough.
All right, well, you know me.
I'm Jeremy, and this is...
Kaden Johnson 91.
Oh, Kaden Johnson 91,
so you can check him out on Instagram and on YouTube.
But anyways, who cares about us?
Oh, I just totally whacked him.
Dude, we have two crazy killer vans here, right?
Yep.
So we have these both torsion bar four by four conversions.
First of all, this is the Weld Tech conversion,
and then we have a Killer Red Quigley conversion over here.
Super cool, and what's awesome about these two vans
is they're both 135-inch wheelbase vans,
except we have over here this gray,
just melts my heart.
I really, really like this gray.
I'm contemplating going with a Ford van in this killer gray.
I love it.
I can't say enough good stuff,
and Austin's gonna freak out right now.
It's called Nardo Gray.
Nardo Gray.
Okay, Austin's enlightening me.
Nardo Gray is the color of this,
and it is, I love it, it's killer.
So if you wanna paint your van the raddest color ever,
in my opinion, which means this much,
Nardo Gray is awesome.
So on this, you can see that we've thrown
an awesome set of Toyo Open Country tires on this thing,
wrapped around a set of what?
My favorite thing about this van
is the Method wheels and the gray.
The gray, the Method wheels and the gray?
You love Method wheels, huh?
Why do you like Method wheels so much?
Well, I like the golden ones better.
You do?
Who's got golden ones on their vehicle?
Me and him.
Yeah, we sure do, huh?
All right, yeah, super rad.
And as you see, as we're kinda hanging out down here,
you're gonna see an awesome set of the tube rock sliders
on this thing so that it makes it easy.
Little kids love them.
It's a lot easier to get in,
and you can see that we've angled these things down
in order to make it even simpler to get in there,
which is great.
So yeah, in the front of this,
let's talk a little bit about what we did.
This is our torsion bar conversion,
and if you don't know about the torsion bar conversion,
I'm gonna throw up another card right here,
and that'll kinda tell you a little bit more
about the conversion, what we're doing to these,
and making them awesome in four-wheel drive.
So in the back of this thing,
as we cruise on to the back of this,
in the back, what we've done is we're running
our seven-leaf spring in the rear,
along with our Fox shocks,
which are really designed to give you
that really awesome ride, which,
I mean, who doesn't love a great ride in their van?
But that's kinda it.
Sealed with this Welltec 4x4 sticker.
Yeah, it's awesome, can't wait.
The customer's actually here.
He's gonna pick it up and go have some fun with this thing.
So I don't know if I have anything else to show you guys.
I mean, I know you guys wanna see this awesome red van,
so maybe, maybe, little teaser, little teaser,
and if you don't know what it's about,
I'll throw up a card right there,
and you can check out this awesome red Quigley van
that we just finished, with a ton of other stuff.
This has a killer build-out.
More than this van, more stuff than that van.
Yeah, it does have more stuff than that.
So, but anyways, this is a killer van.
What else did we miss?
Maybe the inside.
Oh, you wanna go check out the inside?
All right, we can go check out the inside, let's go.
Oh, look, I'm gonna leave my other hat in here.
There's no Weltex seats, only just Chevy seats.
Do you like the Chevy seats or the Weltex seats better?
Weltex seats because they recline.
Yeah.
These ones don't recline.
Hey, why don't you go show everybody
where you shift this thing into four-wheel drive up there?
So there it is, Kaden, that's how you shift this bad dog
into four-wheel drive when you wanna go get crazy.
Right now, it's in two-wheel drive.
Oh, you won't be able to shift it, we'll have to wait,
but we just want you to show everybody
where the shifter lever is, and then where's the lights
that indicate where it's in four-wheel drive.
See, and then those are the two indicator lights
to tell you if you're in four-wheel drive.
Pretty awesome.
Anything else?
I don't think so.
So, we'll just end the video.
That's it, end of the video.
And make sure you check out Growing Up Garage
because you can get awesome, awesome hats
and then we'll have shirts coming out, so.
Dude, I'm fine, I can just go on vacation now, I'm done.
I'm going on vacation, dude, little man's got it.
So KadenJohnson91, killing it over there.
Hey guys, thanks for watching this short little
walkthrough video on this Chevy Express van.
This is a Weld Tech 4x4 conversion.
Make sure you guys smash that subscribe button
and comment below.
Big thumbs up, we would love to hear what you think.
Make sure you subscribe to Growing Up Garage.
I already have 109 subscribers, which I'm really happy.
And I hope I can get like 10 million.
But yeah, it's almost a million.
Hey, really, this video's not over.
We wanna show you actually what this can do.
So we're gonna have some little fun here
as we have John here hanging out.
We wanna show him how much flex this Chevy has.
So we're gonna get the forklift and do that.
So let's have some fun now.
All right, so there it is.
This is the Weld Tech Flex Test.
So when you say a van's not gonna be able
to go very many places, I mean,
I can totally completely understand
because I mean, we only have what,
like 18 inches of suspension travel now?
Yeah, right, now the tire's probably not gonna tuck
all the way up in there, right?
Or wait a second, will it?
Let's go to the other side here where,
what, the tire is completely tucked in the wheel well.
Look at that, oh, it fits so nice and pretty.
Look at that.
So as we go up to the front, how about,
hey, little man, grab a tape measure for me.
All right, so how many inches of articulation does it have?
And now, no cheating in going watching
the TDS video that's right there.
So maybe we're not gonna post it in this video,
but we'll post it in the next video.
But let me tell you, we're gonna be,
we're up there in the high teens, maybe even more.
So we'd love to hear how much articulation you think it has.
And I'm gonna measure it.
Oh, yep, I know what it is and you don't.
So you're gonna have to comment below,
tell us how many inches you think it is.
And we will be sure to share this with you later.
And if you comment on this and throw in a guess,
hey, should we give some cool stuff away?
To the winner.
To whoever guesses it right,
should we give them something cool?
Yeah.
What should we give them?
So we should give them some merch.
Some merch?
Some hats.
All right.
And then a bunch of our van parts.
A bunch of van parts?
Dude, you're giving all the cool stuff away.
How about, all right, we'll put together
a killer swag package for the person who guesses it right.
But that person also has to be following Growing Up Garage.
So you must be following Growing Up Garage.
I'm gonna let Kaden put together a swag bag.
Who knows?
He's gonna get crazy and go in the shop.
I know what I wanna get for merch, so I'll get a jacket.
All right, so there it is, guys.
So that is gonna be an end to this video.
We hope you guys not only enjoyed getting to see
the van, but also getting it to see all articulated out.
The next step is we're gonna have to head out to the trail
and have some fun with this thing.
So, see you guys on the next video.
