Carlos Alcaraz vs Laslo Djere Round 2 Highlights | Barcelona 2025

really well he's uh very good on the clay moves beautifully glides around the court can play at a very high level and uh he's highly let's see that ball move a bit nice dirty steal into the net at the first stop oh clean winner and just to pick up that point uh some relief to get on the ball at the first opportunity solid hands with the net again looking to get uh just steady as you wow a real brilliance buying himself so much time there on return oh goodness me take that what a way that's the way the wind is blowing as well so a rare miss on the forehand from al-karab just over pressing again that's a good recovery there from al-karab from 15 40 down i cannot go on zero wow racing towards the finish line in this opening set good depth on the return all credit to jared a thoroughly professional business oh well played wow some relief the service motion is looking smooth good sign that's a wonderful strike saw it and took it early that's good variation as well tucking up with the jammer into the body glorious what a combination of shots worth a go and he completes the comeback nicely body language much better oh it's a peach unbelievable racket head speed just the one point given away on serve in this that's all played by the serve on the line terrific once again decides to come in behind the serve and for the second time zero at that time it was a bit more accurate into the body a couple of times there al-karab it's long and the first opportunity of this and there it is a rather scrappy game there perhaps the win keeping the pressure on more aggressive return position starting to come oh dear well the worst possible follow-up to breaking serve is to all about placement there that's a super return just rather bamboozled a bit of tension released there from al-karab hauls himself long she's taking a lot of time away from jera so early on the return oh what play great court coverage and well played flatter lower shot finally converts break point number 3 at the best real pop on that serve 2-10 one of the biggest serves of the match al-karab reaches another quarter final here in Barcelona in the Catalan capital to 12 matches not a classic one or two flashes of absolute brilliance but otherwise businesslike a professional job did all that was required perhaps a little
