Bushtit

This tiny bird is called a bushtit! Bushtits are small gray and brown birds normally found in busy flocks.

Beginning in late winter, both male and female start building their nest. Spider webs, plant material, feathers and fur are shaped and stretched until the nest resembles a hanging sack with a small opening.

Have you ever seen a bushtit nest?
