Antonelli: ‘P2 was there maximum we could have achieved today’

Camille, what a drive from that start to the way you finished that race, to the way you held it together, even with track limits again when you hear that on the radio, just how happy are you with the way you've delivered today? I'm happy, I think P2 was the maximum we could have achieved today and yeah, it was what we had. I think with the pace we had, P2 is a very good result and Max did an incredible job, it was very quick all weekend and we just lacked a little bit of pace but I'm really happy with P2, it's the result we deserve because we've been, well, to be fair after the start I thought we could have had a chance to win today but then after the restart, you know, Max overtook me, also George overtook me then, I was able to regain P2 and then from that point on I was there in P2 the whole time so yeah, that was what we deserved today. And a tough day obviously for your team mate George because you got the position on the track which was great but obviously tough for him to not finish the race. Yeah, it's obviously a big shame for him and the team as well because it would have been a good result for the team as well but unfortunately we've been suffering from this reliability this year but I'm sure the team is doing its best to understand where the issue is coming from and make sure it doesn't happen again. But that's why it's really important that whenever I go on track, especially with things in my control, I need to make sure that I do my best.
