An Advice to the Max Planck.
When Max Planck decided to take physics as his field, then the Munich physics professor
Philip von Joly advised him not to take physics.
Professor said, in this field everything is already discovered.
There are only some small things to be discovered.
Planck replied, I don't wish to discover new things, but only to understand the non-fundamentals
of the field.
The interesting part of the story is that Planck explained blackbody radiation.
According to his theory, radiation can behave as particles.
This explanation gave rise to quantum physics.
Even today, quantum physics is not totally completed.
So follow your passion.
