9am FRESH Lobster & Crab Breakfast! 24 Hours Eating ONLY at 99 Ranch Chinese Market

hey guys it's Mike Chen I haven't been to a Chinese supermarket in a while so in this video I'm going to 99 Ranch to check out some of the newest delicious frozen foods and snacks and I hear there are pork buns beef buns their mapa tofu buns and they just came out with a new product that's available right now in Costco black sesame buns and there's a lot of ways to heat this up you can steam it air fry it microwave it or pan fry it so if you're running short on time all you got to do is wet a paper towel wrap it around a bun toss it in the microwave for about a minute and a half and you're good to go my favorite way is either steaming it or air frying it when you steam it these things comes out perfectly pillowy and I already tried this product out make sure I liked it before telling you guys about it this when you steam it the bun is just the most perfect pillowy texture inside silky sweet delicious black sesame p paste and living inside a cloudlike bun the Sesame paste is also extremely fragrant and just brings me back to my childhood when I was young and eating these all the time and I really like chim's products they use really quality ingredients there's no MSG no GMO just pure delicious tasting Foods oh also when you air fry this thing nice and toasty on the Outside Inside the bun is Fluffy it's pillowy however you want to cook it there's really no bad way to enjoy this bun seriously guys if you never had a black sesame bun before Chim makes one of the best ones I kid you not try this out steam it air fry it however you want to cook it you will love this so if you want to give it a try head out to your local Costco and pick up a [Music] box [Music] another cold and rainy morning have not been to a rench 99 in a long [Music] time it's always a comforting feeling when I walk into a Chinese supermarket they don't smell the best but feels like home tell me it's hota season without telling me it's hota [Music] season this is interesting so the direct translation is sour radish duck noodle soup let's try it out wao this place makes their own specialty fish balls I did not know ranch99 has sashimi and sushi oh this is really interesting so here what they do is they can clean your fish they could cut the head off and they can even fry your fish for you or your live crab or Lobster that's convenient there's a lot of good looking fresh seafood at wrench 99 crab is a really good deal $6.99 a PB live crap and lobster is $12.99 lb so got one of each what they do is they give you a ticket and it takes about 10 minutes pipin hot freshly stained crab and lobster this is one of my favorite scallop dishes see how this taste it is meat cheese shrimp balls what a whole roasted F in a box or you could also get a spicy crap in a box and that one is on sale right now yes please Sauer crop fish W they all beans on Hulu now in the snack section I got so much stuff at the seafood section I haven't even started looking at the frozen food aisle yet the xot which is an amazing hot poot restaurant in the US they came out with a wagy beef all the Crawfish is on sale so a bucks for about $10 we usually go for about 14 these dumping are GR good taies braced beef noodle soup this thing sells for $13 let's see if it's worth it I think I'm going to have to come back just for a dumpling video there's so [Music] much W they also have a food court so the deal is you take a box and you fill it as much as you want there's no weight limit for 13 hours that's a pretty good deal the weather's going to be like this for the next week this sh last me a couple days so got the seaweed got the salmon sashimi this lunchbox probably weighs around 2 lb that I got for $13 that included a bowl of soup and this is just so crazy fresh steamed lobster IND dungeon as crab this thing is giant by the way whole thing freshly steamed $11 the lobster again fresh as can be straight from a tank I think about $15 considering that I once paid about $30 for half a dungeon's crab in San Francisco this is an unbelievable deal let's eat salmon sashimi a little bit of soy sauce there's a lot of nice fat in the salmon the seaweed soup that came with this box of food is really good I really like the lady who was selling uh selling these lunch boxes she was telling me how good of a deal this lunch box was and and the best item she told me is this fish of everything I got in this box this fish looks really good still a little crispy on the outside M I think it's a macro nicely bright still retains a delicious crunch it seasoned very well got a nice Smoky flavor to it especially like the bottom Parts where it's nice and crunchy and you can pretty much just put this whole thing in your mouth and crunch through also in this box oh I shouldn't have got the calamari oh calamari is a little cold and soft now I think next time got to eat this there oh that meef and the rice noodles that thing is just infused with walk haad wow that's some excellent rice noodles I think half the stuff in this box would have been really really good if I ate it right away M the huffing is really good too I could definitely chase the potential in this box the chicken's good the pork Bell's good the noodles are really really good I think if you get this as soon as they cooked it this is an amazing box of lunch I think next time I'm just going to fill this up with needles and the fish seawe salad is awesome what's kind of different is that they added some chilies in the seawe salad I for one appreciate the heat I wanted to hurry up and um eat this box food because the crab and the lobster has been sitting here let's break open the crab first this thing all you got to do is separate it from the bottom open it up and right there that is the best part of the crab the crab bag is actually a dish you can get at a lot of seafood restaurants and that's it and they serve it you just like that the back of a crab filled with Rich Umami crab butter difference is at a restaurant this is at least 20 bucks and what you want to do is take some bread dunk it into the C CB back this is the best natural butter in the world for you to dunk your bread in it's buttery Rich a little brainy and the flavor is just ridiculously deep give me a crab bag and give me a loaf of bread that's all I need for breakfast lunch W dinner luckily I have a whole loaf of bread to dunk into this of course the crab inner is also Delicious By to that chase it with some of the bread dunked in the crab B and Chase that with some of the crab meat sweet with that incredible flavor of the ocean I mean $11 for that ginormous fresh dungeon as crab that's an incredible deal Lobster break this open get that shyen tail dunk it and butter that's almost a sweetness overload take the claw dunk that and some of the crab back oh I think dunking in The Crabb is better than just dunking into butter my personal opinion but I think it's true it just adds so much more flavor to anything but don't forget right inside the body all the iners in the brain that's the most flavorful part just pure flavor you can put that onto the claw with the lobster tail make it taste even better I don't think I've ever had a lobster crap breakfast this early before I never knew you could get fresh steamed live lobster and crab at 9:00 in the morning well next time you want something different for breakfast you'll know where to go dinner time I'm really excited for this wagu beef bowl from xot if you guys don't know what xot is it's this amazingly luxurious hota Restaurant in Las Vegas I'll link the video down below for you guys and they came out with a wagy beef ball so in this rice bowl some corn peas carrots it looks like some thinly sliced wagu on top and as soon as this thing popped out of the microwave you smell a lot of beef fat this thing smells really really rich there's definitely a lot of oil in here so when you mix it up all the rice is just glistening from that fat it's just like a very beefy fatty bowl of wagu fried rice if you don't like fatty beef wagu or really rich beef you're not going to like this it's very beefy very beefy very fatty extremely rich the beef they're using is delicious definitely a ton of marbling and fat I think this is an amazing bowl of fried rice I would recommend eating this with maybe some kimchi or some sort of pickle vegetables I've been making my own bunchan so a little jalapeno bite of the wagu fried rice Chase it with some bunchan that cuts the richness way down if I can say anything negative about this it's almost too rich these guys set out to make a wagy rice ball this it's a Waggy rice ball next up Ley shrimp balls when you open these up it kind of almost looks like a a container inside are the shrimp balls and these have no leachy in them they they're called leey shrimp balls because they kind of look like a lii so so good M these are very shrimpy shrimp balls a little sweet really nice and bouncy covered in basically Red Rice Krispies inside stuffed with mozzarella cheese oh my God I mean if you love shrimp this is something that's just uniquely delicious got to try this out I just polished off half a box of these all right I'm really excited to try this out chef style braced beef noodles those is pretty expensive let's see how they taste so when you open this beef noodle soup you get a pack of uncooked noodles then a giant pack of soup and beef is pretty easy to cook just cook the noodles for about 5 to 10 minutes to desired dness then just put the whole pack into boiling water and let it heat up and after all that you get a pretty big bowl of beef needle soup M very beefy the broth is smooth and light there are a ton of flavors in here quite a bit of heat too noodles are excellent beautifully chewy the broth flavor is just really really deep it taste all the spices and the herbs of course that wonderful Umami from the sauces and the beef the texture of these noodles are springier then some beef noodle soup restaurants I've been to it's just so slurp worthy oh the rth is just excellent don't need to add any more heat to it maybe a little Chinese vinegar and that's just a personal preference I think it's even better with the vinegar the beef looks good it's not the most tender cut of beef or maybe I just had a tougher piece let me try this piece here this thing looks like it has a lot of tend in it here it's not melting your mouth Tinder but still not bad this is 100% a restaurant quality bowl of beef needle soup if I will serve this exact bowl of beef needle soup at a restaurant I will come back I mean it is a little pricey but stock up a few of these in your freezer and whenever it's snowy or chil or rainy outside you want to stay home and heat your tummy up with some delicious beef noodle soup you'll be able to do that good morning breakfast is going to be let's start with thisat sour carrot duck needle soup and go ahead and boil some dumplings so this container has a self-cooking mechanism so all we have to do is mix the ingredients together and heat it up there's a soup pack tons of chilies there's a veggie pack underneath there's Chopsticks oil the noodles and the heating pack so first thing we do mix all these ingredients together the water line is all the way to the top put the heating pack in add some water put the top on and let it cook I love these self-cooking meals oh the super spicy see a little sour I a ton of vegetables in here there's potatoes carrots the veggies actually taste a little tough the soup is not bad but really really oily noodles are good they're really chewy I just really can't get over how oily this thing is it's really really oily I think besides being spicy the flavor is okay A little onedimensional maybe that's why they put this thing in the front of the store kind of like pushing specials at a restaurant trying to get rid of products that aren't selling so well I think this is just okay like a 6 6 and 1/2 out of 10 I had high hopes for this very disappointing next thing I know I'm totally judging these dumplings by the wrapper but at least from the back these are some beautiful looking [Music] dumplings so these are pork and scallion dumplings pretty Smalls siiz dumplings with a fairly translucent thin wrapper they do look pretty adorable dunk it in a little vinegar and hot oil this thing does have a really big filling there's basically no space between the filling and the wrapper taste-wise is pretty meaty I really do like the wrapper and filling ratio the scallion tastes good every bite you do taste way more of the filling than you do the wrapper which is a great thing flavor-wise so I think it's lacking a little bit I mean it's not bad but this definitely doesn't taste as good as you think it would taste by just looking at that picture next dish I'm really excited about this so I I found this in the instant needle section I love Clay Pot rice is one of my favorite Chinese dishes of all time this is a self-heating instant Clay Pot rice with Chinese sausages I do see a broccoli on the photo hopefully without the broccoli wo there's a whole pack of rice here uncooked of course two lb Chong some scallion some sauces and of course the heating [Music] pack [Music] all right so I made the sourkraut fish and the instant Clay Pot rice sauerkraut fish is actually really easy to make so when you open a box there's a pack with sauerkraut and the chili another pack with the broth and all you have to do is boil that with water then add the fish in cook it for 3 minutes and it's done wow so quick so easy to make and freaking delicious the soup is very sour from the sauerkraut Obviously good amount of heating here good amount of flavor too and they actually give you a lot of fish in this box fish is not great though fish isn't really tender it's kind of weird it's a little Snappy almost like a clam love the flavor of this dish the fish itself is not great I wanted to eat this dish with the clay poot rice because you need to eat the sauerkraut fish with a rice dish this is actually really good rice is very fluffy and fragrant obviously it's not going to have that nice crunch when you cook this in an actual Clay Pot what they do is that they give you a bag of crispy rice puffs to kind of simulate that texture overall if you're on the road or on a camping trip and you brought this with you you're going to have a delicious meal at the campsite Chase it with some the sauerkraut fish it goes very well with the sauerkraut fish I actually like this a lot obviously for $12 it's really expensive you can get an actual Clay Pot rice for about $15 so $12 is is really expensive for this but like I said this will be very suitable if you're going on a camping trip you don't want to eat a hot dog bring this long all you got to do is add some water you get a pretty tasty dish next up one of my favorite K Ines dishes scallops with Verma chili and garlic it's scallops garlic Verma chili noodles all sitting on a scallop shell oh my gosh this is amazing the noodles got a good shoe the scallops are tender a ton of garlic which means it's just a perfect amount of garlic slurp up the noodles and the scallops and don't forget that little bit of leftover flavor juice this is absolutely phenomenal that's a restaurant quality dish should have got more spicy crawfish this thing again pretty easy to cook wait for it to thaw throw it in a pan for about 5 minutes and you get a plateful of spicy nummy crawfish fish crack it open suck the head that's really nummy honestly I have my doubts about this this thing is pretty darn delicious it's not overly spicy definitely very nummy crawfish texture is pretty good really nice balance of flavors I think I would have liked them more spicy so maybe next time I get a box I'll throw some whole chilies in there but overall pretty good crawfish this next one I'm really excited about this is so crazy this is a spicy crab in a box what they tell you to do is just throw this whole thing in the microw W I was expecting one giant crab there's actually four little crabs in here this crab looks intimidating they're not big four little crab this is pretty pricey too and I got this on sale look at that so there's not a lot of meats in the claws who I imagine this is what people want from the crab all that golden inard like I said this was not at all what I was expecting I thought it was one giant crab and it's going to have a lot of meat this four little crab with just a ton of iners so this is really a crab for people that just love the crab iners the crab mustard there's really no meat on this crab whatsoever I mean there's a little bit not really I mean don't get me wrong I love crab inners I think it's the most flavorful part of a crab but this was a really pricey box of crab so I guess I expected some meat as well the sauce is nice it's spicy a little sweet but not for the price tag all right dessert time this is really interesting I don't know how they made this maybe this is like a dehydrated bang Hulu yep it's a dehydrated Bing Tang Hulu without the stick in the middle so it says this will remind you of your childhood except I don't remember my childhood ever tasting this bad yeah that was horrible even the candy shell wasn't all that crunchy it just dry HW fruits that pretty much loses the essence of a pingang Hulu I guess I didn't know what I was EXP expecting getting this from the snack aisle but wasn't expecting that actually I got a couple more dessert items that I'm pretty sure it's going to be much better Frozen mango steaky [Music] rice wow this tastes really really good almost makes you feel like you're back in Asia sticky rice mixed with the coconut milk little sweet little Savory the texture is amazing the mango extremely sweet especially when the Mango's are still a little bit of Frozen in the middle let it combine with that hot sticky rice get a little that Frozen mango scoop up some piping hot sticky rice M it's like the most refreshing creamy exotic delicious dessert I really didn't think it was going to be that good this is so good if you are ever craving a mango sticky rice go pick one of these up that just makes me so happy happy last food item I found this I'm so excited for it White Rabbit Ice Cream open it up there's a spoon hidden inside it says it wants to melt in your heart just like the Big White Rabbit now if you guys don't know every kid in China grew up with big white rabbit candy and in the last few years I found a white rabbit drink never seen a white rabbit ice cream before until today oh wow super rich and milky it's pretty much like tasting a melted down rabid candy except way richer this just tastes like absolute sweet Rich Nostalgia I'm so happy I found this like I said I haven't done a Chinese grocery store video in a long time found some amazing stuff especially the whole deal where you can get your fish cut up and even fried or get your crab and lobster steamed for free that is such a good deal also that beef needle soup amazing and hopefully this video showed you guys some of the must eat and also some of the must Miss food items at a Chinese grocery store and as always thank you all so much for watching on we eat again see you
