And that's a real magic wand.
Yo, what is up guys, Alex Boyer here,
and today you're going to learn amazing magic tricks
you can do at school, because it's back to school season.
My favorite.
With those magic tricks,
you can be the coolest kid in your school,
so smash that like button
if you're ready to learn those tricks,
and yeah, let's just do it.
Ah, let's go.
If you like that trick that I did
at the beginning of the video,
it's called appearing, oh, okay.
It's called appearing cane.
It's something super cool that back in the days,
us magician were using to make a cane appear,
but in today's day and age,
it's pretty weird to walk with those kind of cane,
but it's super cool.
If you want to prank your friends
or just do something a bit awkward,
if you guys want one, I'm going to drop the link below.
Go check it out.
It's pretty cool.
Go check it out.
Back in high school,
I was always using this to freak people out.
Basically, it's super fun.
It's a, oh no.
Anyways.
The reason I wanted you to learn those magic tricks,
because I know sometimes it can be hard
to be accepted by others,
but by doing things that nobody does,
you can be the cool kid just like I was.
You will impress everyone with this, trust me,
but don't forget to practice.
So for the first trick,
it's called the pencil up to nose,
and it's pretty disgusting,
but it's pretty cool at the same time,
and the trick goes like this.
You're going to borrow a pencil from your friend,
and you're going to tell them
that you're going to place this in your nose.
Goes like this.
And just like that,
you can see that the pencil was in my nose,
and that, my friend, is pretty damn gross,
but pretty awesome at the same time.
So then you can actually ask your spectator
to examine everything.
I think there's a little booger stuck to it.
So the secret for this, it's pretty easy.
The only thing you need is a nose,
a pencil, and some good practice.
My biggest tip for that, guys,
is obviously to practice a lot in front of a mirror
so you can see if you're doing it right or wrong,
and basically, here's the handling of it.
You're going to hold the pencil like this,
and make sure you don't have a pointy tip
just because it can be dangerous for your nose.
You don't want to stab yourself in the nose like this.
The handling is this.
You're going to take your first finger,
your middle finger, and your thumb.
You're going to place it like this, okay?
Vertically like that, vertically,
and you're going to place it right here,
and the other hand's gonna hold the pencil
pretty much the same way.
So thumb, first finger, and middle finger
going to place it like this, okay?
So here's the handling of it.
Because the pencil will slide
between your fingers like this,
that part of your hand will cover everything like that.
If I go like this, it looks like the pencil is in my nose,
but in reality, it's here.
Please don't put the pencil in your nose, for real!
Now, the only thing you need to do, basically,
is some acting, right?
So you're going to go like this.
You're going to take the pencil, place it right here.
You're going to do an awkward face like that, whatever,
and a disgusting sound as well.
And if you combine everything together, it looks like this.
It's pretty cool.
Another thing that I can say is that
if you put the tip of the pencil
just a bit in your nose like this, okay,
and you cover everything,
when you're going to go like that
and remove your hand from here,
it really looks like the pencil is going through your nose,
and now you're going to go like this,
and when you remove the pencil, go like that.
Do a small movement like this,
and it's like you're removing the pencil, for real,
from your nose.
And again, the only thing you need to practice, basically,
is how to slide your fingers across the pencil, right?
So, practice in front of the mirror.
Go like this.
Slide super slowly.
Do it in slow motion before anything else.
Remove your hand to see if you're doing it right.
Don't go like this.
Everyone's going to see the secret, right?
So stay like that, and afterwards,
you're going to remove the pencil,
do a movement like that,
and you have an awesome effect to show your friends.
Thumbs up!
Now, for the other effect, guys,
you're going to tell your friend
that you're going to try and make the pencil
stick to your hand with static electricity,
and it goes like this.
You take the pencil, you rub it on your hair
or anywhere that you can get some static electricity, okay?
You're going to place the pencil like this,
and just by magic, you can see that
the pencil is sticking to your hand.
And now you're going to tell your friend
that you're going to show them how it works,
and basically, here's the method.
It's actually my finger that's holding the pencil,
and that is pretty...
Wait, what?
Okay, and that's pretty cool.
So now, for the secret of it.
The only thing you need to have is two pencils
and a watch or any kind of bracelet or jewelry, anything.
So you're going to take one,
you're going to place it like this, all right?
And basically, you're ready to go.
So now what you're going to do is take the pencil like this,
and again, you're going to tell your friend
what's going to happen.
Your goal is to make the pencil stick to your hand
with static electricity.
So you're going to take some static electricity
in your hair or anywhere you can find some, okay?
And after this, you're going to place this pencil
in between your hand
and in between the other one like this, okay?
So obviously, the pencil will stick to your hand
because there's something that's holding it in place
just like this.
By placing your hand around your wrist
and placing your first finger on the other one,
it looks like the pencil is floating,
but also it looks like this finger is holding the pencil.
So when you remove your hand,
you can actually see that it's going to stay in place
no matter what.
And the most important thing here
is to act like nothing is happening, right?
So basically, here's the performance of it.
You're going to hold the pencil like this, right?
Don't forget that I have the other one here
that's holding everything in place.
You're going to close your fist, okay?
Now you're going to put your finger
on the other one like this
and your hand around your fist,
and you're going to say, watch this.
Something really cool is going to happen.
You're going to open your hand really slowly
to show that the pencil is floating.
After this, tell your friend
that you're going to explain them how it works,
and you're going to turn your body
to show them that it's actually your fingers
that's holding everything together.
Going to turn again, removing this hand,
and say, that's pretty cool, right?
What?
And act like you don't have any idea
why the pencil is sticking to your hand.
And to make it fall just like this,
the only thing you need to do is removing the pressure.
So I push like this to make the pen actually stick,
and to make it fall,
I actually just open my hand a bit just like this, right?
So it's going to fall.
So again, full speed.
All right, buddy, so my goal is to take the pencil
and try to make the pencil stick to my hand
with static electricity.
So I'm just going to take some a bit like this,
I'm going to place it here,
and watch this in slow motion.
If I blow, you can actually see
that the pen is sticking to my hand.
That's pretty cool, right?
But I'm going to tell you how it works.
The method is this,
is because my finger is actually
holding the pencil in place.
That's pretty cool, right?
What?
Okay, wait.
That, my friend, is how you make a pencil
levitate in your hand.
Now for the other effect, guys.
It's an effect that I've been doing for so many years.
In high school, I was always doing it
because it uses only two small objects.
And I still perform this effect in bars
or in a restaurant that I go to.
Here's the effect.
So you're going to tell your friend
that your goal is to make the eraser vanish
with your magic wand.
In that case, I'm using a pencil.
So it goes like this, and I count to three, all right?
One, two, three, and you can actually see
that the eraser is complete.
Wait, wait a minute.
Okay, let's try it one more time, okay?
So one, two, three, and just like that,
oh man, it's a pencil that disappeared instead.
That's pretty weird,
but I'm going to tell you where it is.
It's actually behind my hair, right here.
But let's make the eraser vanish for real now.
Just like that.
And the eraser is completely gone.
The secret of this, super easy.
You need three things, a small object,
an eraser, anything you can find
that can fit in your hand like this,
a pencil or a straw, and an ear, and you're ready to go.
So what's going to happen is this.
You're going to take your small object, right?
You're going to place it towards your belly button.
Belly button.
And after this, you're going to go like that, okay?
The reason you place it here,
it's because you want the attention of your spectator
in your hand.
Super important.
If you go like this,
they might see you put the pencil behind your hair,
so you don't want that.
You really want the object to be lower like this, okay?
So first step, say what's going to happen,
because you want them to believe
that you're going to make the object vanish in your hand.
So I'm going to try and make this little object disappear
with my magic wand.
And it goes like this, watch.
Now you're going to go like this,
one, two, three, close your hand,
and try to be impressed by it,
be like, oh my God, something happened.
Open your hand and be super confused,
like what, why didn't it work, right?
And the second time, do this.
That's weird, I don't know why it didn't work.
Okay, let's try it one more time, okay?
So now I go like this, one, two,
and the third time you're going to place the pencil
behind your ear, just like that.
And you're going to slap your hand together,
just like this.
You're going to open your hand slowly
to show that the pencil's gone,
instead of the small object.
And when you're going to perform this,
everyone's going to be confused, all right?
And that's what you want, actually.
Now say this, I'm going to tell you where it is,
but don't tell anyone.
At the same time, you're going to turn your body around
and point here.
This is the perfect misdirection
to put the small object in your pocket, right?
We're going to go like this, keeping your hand closed.
We're going to take the pencil and say, you know what?
I'm going to make the object vanish for real, watch.
Bam, and now it's gone.
And trust me, this is a really good effect.
I still perform this all the time, and everyone enjoyed it.
Hope you did as well.
Now the other effect that I'm going to show you guys,
I've already taught this effect on another of my video.
You can actually click right here.
It's five magic tricks to freak your friend, basically.
But I thought it might be cool to just put it back
in one of my videos,
because you can pretty much find pencils everywhere,
especially if you're in school.
So it goes like this.
I'm going to take the pencil and place it right here,
and watch this.
I'm just going to try to push the pencil through my cheek.
Just like that, all right?
And if I rub it, you can see that the hole
has completely vanished.
That's pretty cool.
So the secret for this is a lot of acting,
and also a good manipulation,
just to make sure the effect looks really good.
So basically the secret is this.
I'm just pushing my cheek backwards
so that the pencil can go like this, okay?
And I'm placing my first finger
and my middle finger around the pencil, like that,
and my thumb under it, just like so, okay?
So now basically what I'm going to do is this.
I'm going to fake pushing it through my cheek.
I'm going to go like that, slide it like this,
and I'm going to push backwards like that.
So my cheek is going to go like that.
And what sells the effect is that I'm actually taking my lips
and place it around the pencil, just like that.
Watch.
So this is how you want to do it.
Again, practice in front of a mirror,
and you're going to be good to go.
Now for the final trick, guys.
It's actually super cool.
I'm just going to show you.
So basically here's what's up.
Here on my pencil, I have a number two written on it,
and there's a number two on both sides.
And now my goal is to make this little mark disappear,
actually, so by just shaking it like this,
you can see that the mark is starting to vanish.
And just like this,
you can see that the mark has gone from this side
and from that side as well.
So that's pretty cool.
And now I'm going to try to make it reappear
just by shaking it, just like this.
You can actually see that the mark reappeared on the pencil,
just like that, on both sides.
For this effect, the only thing you need to do,
basically, is the paddle move.
And the paddle move goes like this.
You're basically showing the same side twice.
So it's an optical illusion.
So it goes like this.
You're going to hold the pencil with your thumb,
first finger and middle finger, just like this.
And when you turn your wrist,
you're actually going to turn the pencil as well,
just like that, right?
So now people can see that there's a mark on both sides,
just like that.
But if you do it in a natural way like this,
it doesn't show, and it's supernatural.
I have almost 3,000 students per year,
and they all do this, and I don't know why.
They're going to say, Alex, here I have a mark,
and on the other side, I don't know why the whole body turns
when people are trying to do this.
Please make sure it's only your wrist that turns, okay?
So it goes like this, and it's only your wrist.
Make it natural.
The more natural it is, the more believable it becomes.
And now after this, it's only acting,
and just try to have fun with it.
Sometimes what I do is this.
I show both sides of the pencil.
I show the mark, and I go like this.
I'm going to take the mark,
throw it through my mouth,
and I'm just going to throw it back on the pencil
just like that, and that's pretty cool as well,
and I think I just pat on my lens, but anyway.
So again, it goes like this.
Hold it with your thumb, first finger and middle finger.
Show the little mark, turn your wrist,
and turn the pencil at the same time.
Make sure it's only one movement.
Do it again like that.
Rub the mark just like that.
At the same time, you're going to turn the pencil like this.
Now we can say that I have the little number two
in my hand, and you're going to throw it back.
At the same time, you're going to turn the pencil.
There's a lot of way to do it.
It's only limited by your imagination,
so practice this move before anything else.
Make sure it looks super natural.
Here I have number two on both sides, just like that.
And after this, as I told you, just have fun with it.
So that's it for me today, guys.
Hope you enjoyed this video.
If you did, don't forget to like, share, subscribe.
Do all of that good stuff.
Hopefully you're going to make new friends at school,
and you're going to impress everyone with those tricks.
And let me know in the comments what was your favorite one.
My name is Alex Borer,
and I'll see you guys really, really soon.
Peace!
