5 Add Makeup with AI - SCAI021

Hey there and welcome back. In this section, we're going to show you how to add makeup to your portraits using artificial intelligence. Let's go ahead and jump in. So here's our sample image for adding our makeup. The first thing we want to do, let's go ahead and grab our lasso tool. So we're just going to grab our regular lasso tool here. Let's go ahead and make a selection right around this area here above the eye, okay? And we're going to do the same thing here. So I'm going to hold shift and click here and go ahead all the way up and right around that area. We're going to click on generative fill and we're going to type in dark purple eye shadow. There we go. And let's go ahead and click on generate and see what it gives us. All right. Fantastic. Now, again, I don't have a ton of control over what it gives us, but we can continue to generate new options over and over and over again, clicking on our generate icon here. Okay. So we can see we have some dark eye shadow here and a few different options. That actually looks pretty good. Let's click on generate so we can just get a few more options. But you know, if you have like, let's say your subject is wearing a certain color of clothing and you want makeup to match that, this is a way we can do that. Really, really fun. All right. Ooh, that actually looks quite good. Smoky eye. Cool. I think that's kind of cool. Actually a lot of these look good. That one looks definitely like more, more natural. Cool. Let's do it here as well. I'm going to just go ahead and there we go. Select this subject as well and kind of come up in that direction and we'll just do the same dark purple eye shadow. There we go. And we can just kind of turn these off and on at any time if we want to. So in this case, it's basically just doing the top of our subject's eye and it's going to just generate a totally new, you know, a totally new, there we go. Let's maybe just type in, let's get rid of dark and just type in purple eye shadow and see what it gives us. But it actually looks pretty good. Pleasantly surprised, you know, this artificial intelligence works, works absolute wonders. All right, there we go. Almost done. Cool. That looks pretty good. Now here, I want to just go ahead and select our subject's lips. So we're just going to go here and with, again, the same tool, just using the lasso tool, we're just going to go make a selection right around our subject lips. Fantastic. And then we're just going to type in, I want it to kind of match this. We'll type in dark red lipstick. There we go. And go ahead and click on generate and see what it gives us. Fantastic. Now just a word, this is basically just going to replace her lips with different lips that have dark red lipstick. There we go. So you can see, it does actually look pretty good here. We have a few different, that's kind of a weird option there. We can click on generate so we can get even more options. All right, let me type in like maroon. Maybe it'll give us a closer color to this one. Let's see. Maroon. We'll see what it says. I don't know if it, I don't know if it will kind of match that color lipsticks or not. There we go. No, I think the dark red actually worked a little bit better. But here we can see, basically we have a few different options for lips and again, these are different lips than my subject, but we can choose things that are, you know, at least very similar to my original subject's lips. All right. Well, I don't want to overdo it with our subjects. Let's go ahead and group those and take a look. There's a before and the after. So you can see they are different lips on our subject, which, you know, preferably it'd be great if they were the exact same lips. The eyes, you don't really notice that big of a difference, honestly. The lips a little bit more. You know, maybe in time, artificial intelligence, you'll be able to say like keep the original feature and just add lips, lipstick or something like that to it. But for now, you can definitely add makeup in Photoshop using artificial intelligence. And that's all there is to it. Thanks so much. We'll see you in the next section. Bye everyone.
