AI GeneratedThis is the fifth session of a 30-day meditation series. The practice focuses on grounding the body and mind by synchronizing deep breathing with a physical awareness of the contact between the body and the sitting surface to cultivate stability and rootedness.
Welcome to day five of the 30-day, five-minute daily meditation
practice. Let's begin in a comfortable seated posture, crossed leg on your mat
or a cushion, keeping your spine straight, shoulders relaxed away from the ears,
palms facing down on your knees, keeping your eyes closed, taking a deep breath in
and let it out through your mouth, taking another deep breath in and letting it out audibly through
your mouth, taking a deep breath in and let it out completely, now bringing your attention
to the natural rhythm of your breath, inhaling in through your nostrils and exhaling it out,
inhaling deeply into your belly, effortlessly and exhaling it out completely.
As you inhale and exhale, guiding your breath to your sit bones,
the part of your body which is in contact with the surface you are sitting on.
With every exhalation, your sit bones feels more grounded as you continue to breathe,
guiding your breath towards your sit bones, allowing your breath and your sit bones
to make you feel stable and rooted on the surface you are on. Every breath is helping you
ground yourself through your sit bones in your truth, every breath helps you draw
stability from the ground, the earth, the surface you are on, becoming aware of your entire body
on the surface you are on, bringing gentle movement into your fingers and toes and slowly
whenever you feel ready, opening your eyes. Thank you for practicing with me today.
