Who influenced me in my childhood.

Most of you have read some fairy tales and biographies of green men, the historical green men
in childhood. I have done also. I have done it also. Edmund Halley, Isaac Newton, and Mark Twain,
they influenced me from since my childhood. They gave me an inspiration.
Have you seen Halley's Planet? I've seen it. In 1986, I was a child. The telescopes,
you know, the telescope was very popular among children, so it was sold out at the time.
Most of children, they study the sky
at night, and then they talked about the skies and celestial bodies in school next day.
So did I. So actually, in fact, I couldn't make it. I couldn't make it to see Halley's Planet
because I fell asleep. The day on the telescope coming, I fell asleep on my back because I was
a child. Anyway, it was very interesting. And Halley and Isaac Newton, two of them,
are very into Newton's, you know, the Isaac Newton, the Newton philosophers, Isaac Newton.
He helped me understand this universe based on physics. I admire him so much that I named my
company Newton 1665. 1665 is the year Newton found the falling down apples and the gravity.
Anyway, Halley was an atheist who didn't believe in God. One day, Newton invited him to his house.
There was an equating nine planets solar system in nature. Following the Newton's love,
in this living room, I am beheld. I would like to be there. Halley was astonished
and asked to Newton, who made this equating nine planets solar system? Who made this?
I admire him. It moves adequately. So Newton replied, oh really? You think like that?
But it's made by human's hand. Think about this. Who made this universe?
Who moves it? Suddenly, Halley realized something and began to believe in God.
After that, they were more close soul friends. So Halley wrote
preface of Principia, the masterpiece of Isaac Newton, before his death.
And there is something more about Mark Twain.
Maybe you have read Mark Twain's novel in childhood. I did also. I read his novels
day and day, again and again. Tom Sawyer was my best friend in my mind. I was on his adventure.
So I made some secret units, you know, with Bush over here with my friends.
So I stayed some time inside of the units. Actually, last year, I watched the clay animation,
The Adventure of Mark Twain. And I found something between Halley and Mark Twain.
Mark Twain was born and dead at the time of Halley's comet coming to earth.
You know what? Mark Twain knew that when Halley's comet was coming to earth again, he would die.
Can you imagine this? But it happened real, with this book. They come in together. They must go out
together. When I found these two fantasists and one novelist have something intimate relationship,
I was very happy. I assumed these people and their connection. I felt like I also have some
predestined relationship with them. Most of you and all of you in front of me, we maybe have some
predestined relationship with me. It's precious, isn't it? I really thank you, Toastmasters,
to have this kind of time, this chance. We have that relationship. I bet it. Thank you, Toastmasters.
