Trump quietly sends another $310 million
in arms to Ukraine.
The U.S. has approved a $310 million F-16 support deal for Ukraine.
Alongside retired jet shipments for parts
and new economic agreement granting U.S. access to Ukrainian minerals
and reconstruction projects, the U.S. State Department has approved
a potential U.S. dollar $310 million sale
to Ukraine covering F-16 training and facilitating F-16 jets.
The Pentagon announced its $310 million sale
to Ukraine on Friday with F-16 parts and related
equipment, Pentagon announced.
The deal includes a broad range of support such as aircraft
modifications, flight training, sustainment services,
spare parts, and classified systems
and software. Major defense contractors involved
in the sale include Lockheed Martin,
BAE Systems and AARD Corporation,
this latest arms package comes alongside broader efforts
to bolster Ukraine's F-16 fleet,
which was originally supplied by European allies through
a transfer approved by the Biden administration,
only because we were going to give them better
jets in exchange.
The new sale further reinforces U.S. support
for Kiev's defense capabilities.
In a parallel move, the U.S. Air Force has began sending retired
non-operational F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine for spare parts and usage.
According to a Defense Department spokesperson,
these decommissioned aircraft, which lack engines and radars,
are intended to support the maintenance
of European-donated F-16s already in Ukrainian hands.
The stripped-down airframes were recently flown from Tucson,
Arizona, to Poland, and then moved into the Ukraine.
The flurry of activity follows a high-profile agreement between
the U.S. and Ukraine signed just days ago,
which grants Washington preferential access
to Ukrainian mineral projects
and includes U.S. investments in Ukraine's post-war reconstruction.
Sounds like the Clinton deal to me.
The Clinton Global Initiative,
who has sought to rebuild Ukraine after the war.
What a slush fund that would be.
While President Donald Trump promoted the economic pact,
he has generally taken a less aggressive stance
on military aid to Ukraine, in contrast
to Biden's ongoing weapons support for all of Ukraine's initiatives.
Now, you won't hear about this in the U.S. press.
And I beg for y'all to share the story, believe the story,
and you can actually Google it and find hundreds of sources.
They just won't be Google or U.S. sources like the New York Times.
