Fall Garden Tour with Heidi!! Last Harvest of the Season (tomatoes, peppers, fall crops).

tonight turned into one of those nights where to garden decides your schedule for you 😅 We had one day before we left town, but the green beans, tomatoes and peppers were READY to preserve - and there was no way I was letting all of that food and hard work go to waste!

So we harvested a huge pile of green beans, pressure canned them for the first time - I was so nervous! Picked peppers and tomatoes, froze them, and made a delicious tomato pie.. and stayed up way later than planned trying to get it all done.

This August has been so good to us and the garden. Beautiful, exhausting, plentiful, messy - but so worth it~
