Jaguars Crush Ravens as Trevor Lawrence Fuels 33-10 Win

Man, this was really a football game that I think a lot of people anticipated last night. It was going to be a blowout, and it was. 33-10 last night. The Jaguars ended up going into Baltimore and taking care of business. And, man, I got to tell you, things are all on all cylinders right now for this football team. Liam Cohn knows right now that Trevor Lawrence getting out to a big start and a fast start has been a trend that he's seen over the last couple weeks. Huge. Great start. We took the ball. We don't typically take the ball much and took the ball because of the weather, knowing that it was going to come a little heavier in the second half, wanting to steal an early drive possession and to go down two weeks in a row now to start the season, which is something that we've been struggling at, have been a point of emphasis is starting faster, being better on the first drive of the game. I'm kind of yelling at out of bounds, and he just finds Bork, and I just think. He was very on when it was really a game, right? Like when it was mattering and things were going and it's a back and forth football game early on. He was extremely sharp, accurate, and he played, again, a really solid football game for us. Duvall, remember that stupid presser? Well, this guy's turned out to be a heck of a coach. He's probably the best coach they've had down there in Duvall since Tom Coughlin. And, man, he's got the Jacks playing great football, but he's also got this dude playing great football. That is Trevor Lawrence. Yeah, I mean, I feel like it does. We do play in the rain a lot. It's just something that you just got to do whenever the forecast calls for it. We get that a lot in Florida. You know, we come up here and get it here, too. So it's just both teams have to play, and that is a good thing. So I think it's something that, you know, you have to just adjust and play in. And, you know, you can't let it affect you too much. Obviously, you know, sometimes it can affect play calling a little bit, depending on how bad it is. But I thought we managed it pretty well, you know, besides a couple series in the second half that weren't great offensively. So it'd be some stuff to clean up, but definitely, you know, great to get a win here. To some of the reporters, man, football's played outside, I thought, right? And it does rain and snow. I mean, what a question there. No question, man. But look at the way he's playing, too. 16-26, 242. He's an MVP candidate right now. And he's got that football team really playing well, sitting at 6-2 right now. Now, on the other side, you get out to a 4-0 start. Boy, I got to tell you, man, one of my favorite football players is D. Henry. And I got to tell you, this dude right here is not a happy camper. It wasn't good enough. We've got to be better. They were the better team. Same story. Thank you very much. It wasn't good enough. We've got to be better. How frustrating is it when it's the same story? I mean, we lost four times. It's frustrating. So we've got to be better. Watch the film and get better from it. How do you find a way to get something? Go back to work. Go back to work. Go back to practice. I've got eight games left. I've got to go back to work. That's all I can tell you. These reporters are looking for a secret pill. The magical answer, we've got to go back to work. Do you believe that this team can turn it around? We have to. That's the only thing we can do. Let's go back to work and try to get it going. Derek, do you feel like the way that the season has gone changes maybe your... Do you plan to still be with this team? I have not mentioned me going anywhere else. I'm saying let's go back to work. Let's try to get better and turn this around. Derek, there have been a lot of reports that you guys are finalizing a trade for Jacoby Brissett. Do you feel like a veteran quarterback could help? Jacoby Brissett? We need our hands on deck. I can, um... I feel like he can come in and help us. I'm excited to have him and see where it goes. Thanks, Derek. Hey, so, you know, I just had something said in my ear here. You're right. I just mentioned Jacoby Brissett. It's probably better than this alternative. Joey F. Yeah, we have a great athletic training room. The next time you see this guy, he'll be on a milk carton. So they got me right. SOS. Have you seen Joey F? Yeah, he's in the UFL. Excuses. Am I going to play better? Yeah, you will never have to see a sound bite. Ever again from Joey F, I promise you, after this week here. 10-18 with a legendary 60 yards passing. I'm sure my guy, Chris K, K, I'm sure he didn't put any money down on this guy here. Jesse Minner, no, that was a real tough football game. Uh, excuse. Excuses, there's no whatever. We don't have this guy, we don't have that guy. We got to make a decision, again, over this break. Got a little bit of a break for the guys to kind of mentally reset. And come back and seek improvement, really, in all three phases. That's what we'll be after. But, again, credit to the Jags. Good football team. Credit to our guys for fighting. Five straight, kid. It's obviously a bare minimum. So, questions? I think you got to work on more than just that with that football team offensively. Let's see what Jacoby Brissett, holy cow, I think what he can do with that football team there. I wonder what Zay Flowers is also thinking. Not good there if you're a Baltimore Ravens fan.
