President Trump is weighing in on Republicans' losses in Tuesday's midterm elections, arguing that the outcome would have been different if he had been on the ballot. The president pointed to the massive crowds at his rallies but acknowledged that the enthusiasm did not translate into votes for Republican candidates.

Trump also agreed that the war in Iran and rising gas prices may have contributed to the GOP's struggles, while defending his decision to take military action. Looking ahead, the president says he is willing to work with Democrats but warned he would use his veto power if necessary.
