*Jayden Daniels* Might Fall Right Into THE LAS VEGAS RAIDERS LAP

I'm still sick, if you're wondering.
Okay, listen, I would say that luck is not a good strategy to use
in terms of getting the right players
and becoming a good football team, right?
However, I would say that also
these past few seasons for the Las Vegas Raiders
have been incredibly unlucky.
It only seems right that the football gods have bestowed upon us
a couple of lucky things, a couple balls bouncing our way,
The first one being...
Josh McDaniels hiring Antonio Pierce,
who ends up being the perfect guy to be the next head coach
of the Raiders once Josh McDaniels shows that he's a bad coach
who sucks. The second lucky thing
seems to be that one way or another,
Jaden Daniels might fall into our lap. Now,
I'm not saying he's going to fall all the way to 13
because that would be utter lunacy.
But the Combine is happening.
With the Combine, there's discussions and talks
and people falling up and down draft boards
and reports coming out and blah, blah, blah.
And there was a report that came out a couple days ago
that said the Patriots are pretty keen
on drafting a quarterback at three
and all the mock drafts have him being Jaden Daniels.
And that's where you think to yourself,
well, if we can't get up to three
and the Patriots are dead set on taking the quarterback,
how are we going to get one of the big three?
Daniels, May, or Caleb Williams?
It's just not going to happen, which is
why I made an Aiden is Inevitable video.
So there are reports coming out that they want to take quarterback.
And then there was a report this morning
that Arizona is looking to trade back from four.
Again, that doesn't help us get Jaden Daniels
because he'll be gone by four, right?
A report came out about an hour ago from the time
of me recording this on a Saturday,
Saturday, Saturday.
And it says, it's on Bleacher Report.
Some people are thinking J.J. McCarthy.
Who said he wants to throw to Davante Adams.
Just a little side note.
Will be the third quarterback off the board.
Which means at pick four, Jaden Daniels will still be there.
Or Drake May will be there.
One of the two.
But most likely Jaden Daniels.
You couple that with the report
that the Cardinals are looking to move back.
You couple that with the report
that the Atlanta Falcons look like they're trading for Justin Fields.
So they're out of the quarterback competition.
That means you have very few teams to compete
with in terms of assets to trade up for.
We've got teams like the New York Football Giants
who are apparently looking to trade up.
Denver Broncos are sneaky.
Minnesota Vikings are sneaky.
And then we're right there.
We can't get up to three because the Patriots
are going to take a quarterback.
I almost said receiver.
But if we get up to four and J.J. McCarthy goes to the Patriots,
it goes Williams, May, McCarthy.
Jaden Daniels will be four.
I couldn't tell you the last time four
quarterbacks went one, two, three, four.
Might never happen.
Comment below if you know about that.
But here's my thought process.
J.J. McCarthy's shooting up a lot of draft boards.
And if you trade up to four,
hoping that Jayden Daniels will be there, and he's not there,
is it okay to settle for J.J. McCarthy?
I don't know why I said here's my thought process
and then I followed up with the question.
I guess it's because I haven't figured it out yet.
Is it okay to settle for J.J. McCarthy if Jayden Daniels is gone?
Because right now, it seems like
the Patriots are leaning J.J. McCarthy.
And if that's the case, like I said, Daniels will be there.
And going up to four is a lot cheaper than going up to three
because the team at three desperately needs a quarterback
and the team at four right now does not.
So, I just wanted to come on here and say
it seems as though, you know, knock on wood,
if you're with me, remember that?
It seems as though we might be getting a little bit of luck,
and I for one think we deserve it,
to be clear, but there's another thing to discuss.
Have you ever seen a player go out
of their way to outwardly say,
I would like to play for the Las Vegas Raiders, please?
I mean, you've got, you know, defensive tackles saying it, right?
But it's different when the Heisman Trophy winner says,
if Antonio Pierce called me on draft day,
I don't know what I'd do in terms of being excited.
Half the battle of getting the right guy
is getting the guy that could be the face of your franchise.
Not the face of the franchise, the face of your franchise.
Can you see anybody else being the face of the Kansas City Chiefs?
That's not Patrick Mahomes. No, you cannot.
There are people that are synonymous with the brand, right?
AP is synonymous with the brand of the Raiders, and Jaden Daniels has
been going out of his way, not in a bad way to say, you know,
of course I'll be excited and I'll play for any team that drafts me,
but has gone out of his way to say, AP, come get me.
If you have the means, let's freaking do it.
That's half the battle.
You got to have somebody that's willing
to go to war for the team that drafted them.
And if someone is saying, I want you to come get me,
and then you give up a lot to go get
them, they're going to move heaven
and earth to be the best player they can be.
Or at least that's the way I see it.
You guys tell me if you feel differently.
I'm still not sold on Jane Daniels,
the football player, but I am sold on Jayden Daniels, the
person.
And you look at people like Josh Rosen, right?
Who, you know, people didn't like him.
It just is what it is.
And he fizzled out immediately.
Being a good guy and being the right fit for the team
buys you some time from the fans
and from the coaching staff to develop.
And if he is genuine as he comes off as,
I'm all for going up to get Jane Daniels at this point.
We got to mold the offense around him.
And Luke Getsy seemed like the right guy to be able to do that.
And if we re-sign Josh Jacobs and we add some more weapons
and the offensive line is stronger
and the defense is where it needs to be,
we could be cooking with gas.
It's only a matter of time before somebody
moves up to that number four spot
because I think three is staying three.
One, two, three are locks.
And if it's us, do not be surprised
if that means that J.J. McCarthy is going three,
which means Jayden Daniels is going.
What do you guys think?
Is that crazy?
I mean, all these reports are coming out.
Combine is happening right now.
Draft is happening soon.
