This is a real treat for anyone interested in mysterious places. Just a stone throw from the recorded dwelling of a witch in the late 1600's I discover a mine entrance with a mega spooky atmosphere inside.
Note to anyone exploring abandoned mines or shafts - do not do anything stupid and always play it safe. Let someone know where you are going and always have a back-up light source.
No way was I going to scoot around the side of that huge hole (risking certain death) just to get a longer video and see further into the mine.
Whatever is up there can remain a mystery as far as I'm concerned although I am very intrigued to know what lies at the bottom of the hole..........how deep was it?
