JUST IN: Donalds Wins Florida — DeSantis Says Why It Held

The networks spent all night drawing blue arrows across their maps, but Florida did not move. Byron Donalds just made history as the first Black governor in Florida history, and he made sure the entire country heard the message from the Sunshine State. This was not merely a state-level victory; it was a defiant stand against a national tide that corporate media insisted was irreversible. The blue arrows on the election night maps suggested a Democratic sweep through the Sun Belt, but Florida exposed that as a blue lie. From Miami-Dade to the Panhandle, the state’s voters rejected the national panic and rewarded conservative results. President Trump made the second call to Donalds after the race, confirming the alliance that kept the red fortress standing. Democrats emptied every clip to crack Florida, and the state held.
