MTG, there has been a blue tsunami tonight.
Whose fault is it?
It's Donald Trump's fault.
And this entire midterm election is a referendum on Donald Trump.
He said that he told all voters vote, vote as if I'm on the ballot.
Well, they did.
And the Democrats took a complete victory.
And it's still coming in.
The results are still coming in.
But America did.
They did vote like Trump is on the ballot and they voted for Democrats.
So if you were to give a piece of advice to a member of Congress,
Who's a Republican on what they should do next?
What would you tell them?
Well, actually, I tried that for five years serving in Congress.
I constantly told Republicans what we should be doing,
the issues we should be fighting on.
And I was largely ostracized by my party in the House.
And they didn't do the things
that I said mattered to the American people.
And now they're finding out they should have listened.
Yeah.
One of the issues I would talk about constantly was health insurance.
Americans can't afford health insurance.
Republicans constantly attack Democrats over Obamacare
and blame Democrats.
Well, yeah, they did Obamacare, but Republicans have never fixed it.
So where has been the Republican plan to fix
the problem with health care and health insurance?
But also look at the war.
No more foreign wars.
We said no more foreign wars.
Trump started a foreign war.
Gas and diesel is unaffordable.
People are getting killed.
They can't pay for anything.
Cost of living has gone up and Republicans just stood behind Trump,
cheerleading, clapping like baby seals.
And this is what happens.
But say someone, a Republican who's going to be serving next term,
they come to you tonight and they go, What the heck do we do?
What would you tell them to do first thing?
Well, first thing is go back to what you told the American people
you would do after after they handed Republicans a
Full majority, the White House, the House and the Senate, go back
to what those campaign promises were, and they were really simple.
It was lower inflation, lower the cost of groceries,
lower the cost of gas and diesel,
fix health insurance for the love of God, put Americans first.
Put Americans first, that's what
the whole MAGA agenda was supposed to be about.
That's what I thought it was about, that's why I supported it.
In the foreign wars, stop sending people's hard-earned tax dollars
over to every foreign country on the planet.
And it's really pretty simple.
If you care about the American people
and you stop caring about your rich donors
and you stop caring about Trump's Epstein friends
and his Mar-a-Lago club members
and Republican members of Congress need
to stop worrying about being invited to the White House
and being invited to Mar-a-Lago.
And actually stand up for issues that matter instead of trying
to please a president that acts like a cult leader, which is what he
is, demanding loyalty from everyone and then calling everyone names
if they don't bow down and worship him.
No, Republican, any Republican member of Congress
or newly elected member of Congress needs to be exactly,
if they're in the House of Representatives, be the job title.
He's a representative.
