'WE SEE WHAT YOU'RE DOING!' Royal Navy sends stark message to Russia aboard HMS Prince of Wales

The Royal Navy’s flagship, the aircraft carrier HMS Prince of Wales, scrambled F-35 combat jets to intercept a Russian spy plane heading towards the carrier strike group in the High North, GB News can exclusively reveal.
Our team embedded for several days on the warship and had exclusive access as the drama unfolded.
Two of the carrier’s fifth-generation stealth combat jets launched to respond to the Tupolev reconnaissance aircraft, nicknamed the Bear, as it began closing in on the Prince of Wales and her warship escorts in the Norwegian Sea.
The 70,000-tonne carrier and her strike group are currently on operations in this strategically important area near the Arctic.
It is the second time in recent months that Britain’s flagship has had to respond to unwanted attention from a Russian reconnaissance aircraft.
In July, a Russian Bear repeatedly buzzed the strike group and dropped sonobuoys dangerously close to the Prince of Wales.
Although the UK and other allied nations also conduct regular reconnaissance missions, senior Royal Navy commanders believe the Russians are becoming increasingly reckless.
