Harvard astrophysicist suggests 3-Eye Atlas could
be a hostile alien ship coming to attack Earth?
We do have a video of him explaining himself in just a moment.
Another week, another UFO-related story for us to laugh
or worry about, and this one is
big, literally.
Back in October 2017,
the first object from outside the solar system was discovered, the
Oumuamua, the unusual shape, the lack of a comet trail,
and the fact that it sped up
as it left the galaxy left scientists puzzled.
And it was fertile ground for all kinds of speculative theories,
with Harvard's Avi Loeb suggesting that Oumuamua might have
been an alien spacecraft or probe.
Fast forward to 2025, when another mysterious intergalactic
object named 3-Eye Atlas will be cruising past Earth.
And you'll never guess what scientists are suggesting now.
A controversial new scientific study alerts
that 3-Eye Atlas could potentially
be a hostile alien spacecraft coming to attack our planet in November.
The New York Post reported, quote, the consequences,
should the hypothesis turn out to be correct,
could potentially be dire for humanity, the researchers wrote
in the inflammatory paper, which was published July 16th.
To the preprint server arXiv,
Southwest News Service reported, 3-Eye Atlas has just been
discovered on July 1st,
speeding towards us at more than 130,000 miles per hour, and has
been determined to be an intergalactic comet.
However, in the new paper,
the trio of researchers suggested that it might be a piece of
Extraterrestrial spy technology in disguise.
One of the researchers, Avi Loeb,
a prominent Harvard astrophysicist known
for linking extraterrestrial objects to alien life,
previously made waves after floating the theory that the 2017
interstellar object Oumuamua could be an artificial recon probe.
sent by an alien civilization based on its odd shape
and acceleration as it moved through our
solar system. Loeb now believes
that the 3-Eye Atlas trajectory suggests an alien origin.
The object's
which was significantly faster than Oumuamua and other objects,
and the fact that it had entered
our solar system from a different angle
and its predecessors offer various benefits
to an extraterrestrial intelligence,
Loeb wrote in his paper.
One benefit is that 3i Atlas will make a close approach to Jupiter,
Mars, and Venus,
Which could allow aliens to stealthily plant spy gadgets there.
The way he wrote, this guy is a nut.
Let's listen to what he has to say, shall we?
In my opinion, this gentleman has no business teaching our youth
and should be locked up in a rubber room.
Dr. Avi Loeb, Director of the Institute
for Advanced Studies at Princeton University.
He also is an astrophysicist at Harvard.
Told at Dr. Brian Keaton,
the recent discovered 20 kilometer wide 12 mile interstellar object
3i Atlas should cause us
to be worried about being technological if it's not a comet.
The third one was discovered on July 1st,
2025, this year, just a few weeks ago.
There is a new interstellar object,
at least a candidate at that time, that was just the night
over which it was realized by a few amateur astronomers
that indeed the ATLAS survey,
that's a telescope of half a meter,
which by coincidence discovered the third interstellar
This is a similar object, 3i atlas.
The reason I said you should take a vacation before October 29th is...
If it happens not to be a comet,
so if we don't see a cometary tail, that would be really
intriguing.
Irrespective of the trajectory,
just the fact that it's a 20-kilometer object, there is
not enough mass in rocks in interstellar space
to give you a 20-kilometer object every decade.
What I'm saying is by orders of magnitude,
I'm not talking about a factor of two, orders
There's several orders of magnitude.
Several orders of magnitude.
off. The numbers just don't match.
So if it's not a comet, it's really strange and we should
be worried about it being technological.
He sounds like he knows what he's talking
about folks, but this is above my pay grade.
My guess is he's a couple of beers short of a six
pack. Let me know your thoughts in the comments below.
